Good time

We had a pleasant week on LCO. The cabin is just as advertised and pictured. We cooked in about half the nights and pleasantly surprised that everything we needed was right there in the Kitchen. Our only complaint - and this had to be unusual (our luck) that a landscape contractor used the adjacent public lake access to load a flat-top pontoon with rocks for a shoreline improvement project across the bay. Every 15 minutes a skid-steer would noisily run up the street to access a dump truck, then run back to the landing (twice per boat load) to dump rocks onto the boat, then race across the lake to dump rocks and return - from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for three straight days. We were away most of the time, but had to endure the noise right when we would have like to enjoy morning coffee on the dock, or a glass of wine after returning mid-afternoon. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again as the normal boat traffic at the public landing was not a problem. I assume the commercial use of the landing was unusual and I would hope generally not permitted.

This cottage worked well for us while we were visiting friends in the same bay. We really only were there to sleep and shower, but the way it is situated close to the lake and dock we’re very nice. There is not a sandy beach, but the lake is gorgeous and crystal clear. Having a boat, canoe or kayak would be perfect- we had access to all of that at our friends cabin. The cabin is lovely and nicely decorated, beds were comfy. The shower is quite small, but does what it needs to do😀 We would recommend staying here.

No complaints. Dock was right in front of the cabin. Quiet area and was perfect for my wife and 2 year old. Nice weekend getaway.

Perfect quiet cabin on a beautiful lake. The cabin is adorable and has everything you need! Only thing that could have made it better was if you could swim off the dock!

Family of 4. Great time at the lake

Place was brand new perfect for two people. Location was great on the lake, in a cove protected from wind and waves if you bring a boat. Right next to the public boat ramp so you see a lot of locals hanging out but we had no issues.

Very nicely updated cabin that is just feet from the water. Very clean and it had all the basic amenities. We will definitely be back.

Check in process and responsiveness from Danielle was fantastic. She responded to any questions we had within an hour and made sure we had what we needed to have a fantastic stay. Cabin is just steps from the lake as advertised. Located just 15 minutes from Hayward was convenient. For a relatively small place, kitchen table was plenty big enough for our family of 5 to eat and/or play board games comfortably. Thanks Danielle!

Very well appointed cozy cottage! The view is fantastic and the place served us well for a quick weekend visit!

I stayed here with my spouse for an anniversary weekend. This cabin is clean, cozy and updated. The view of the lake from the cabin and dock is beautiful. We plan to stay again!

This property was great for a weekend stay. Don’t let the cozy appearance fool you, it is very well equipped and clean, but not cluttered with non essential items, although a side lamp in the main bedroom would be helpful instead of just the overhead lighting. Location was ok, right next to the boat launch, it wasn’t too bad for our stay, but during the summer I can imagine it may be quite noisy.

Very Cute. Cozy & Ckean. Small, but good use of space. Quiet side of the Lake, solitude on the dock for morning coffee & an evening wine, a nice fire pit area & next to a boat landing. Was perfect for the get-a-way with my Sister.

If you are looking for a basic cottage that has been given a fresh makeover in a location steps from the water on a 5,000+ acre lake in a bay near an inlet to another 3,000+ acre lake, put this cottage on your list. Is there a big flat screen tv and internet access? No. Is there a wonderful sitting area to gaze out at the lake and enjoy the call of the loons? Yes. The cottage itself has all that one needs for a comfortable stay and is tastefully decorated. For paddlers, the location is perfect. For swimmers, there are perhaps too many weeds by the dock. However, we inflated some floats and drifted out further in the bay to soak in the sun. Communication with the host was outstanding. Perhaps the best recommendation we can give is that we want to return for another stay.

The property is all clean and new. If you are into fishing it's a good bet. Not much for swimming. The boat access is right next door to this cabin.
