Our kids enjoyed the pool when the weather was too wet to go outside.
We stayed for a long weekend Saturday to Monday, and there were two things that we did not like:
The pool was closed for maintenance on Monday morning, so we could not take the kids for a swim before leaving.
The restaurant (which served a very good breakfast to us on our first morning) was closed Monday morning, so no breakfast was available at the hotel.
It would be great to schedule the unavailability of these services midweek, so the weekend crowd can fully enjoy their getaway.

The Crimson was a lovely place to stay. Our room was nicely recently upgraded, it's convenient to walk to main part of Jasper and support their recovery! The restaurant also was very nice and the service excellent.

I was a little hesitant initially to book this hotel based on the reviews provided by folks especially related to parking. Yes their parking lot is really small. The staff helped me in letting me know where I can park where the parking is free. Parking on the street is free after 9 PM as well. I understand that its a bit of inconvenience but everything else is great. Some folks also complained about the noise in the room due to nearby railway station. I had no problem. It could vary room by room though. Staff was great. Helpful and friendly.

Our room was at the rear of the property, so was quiet. The hotel provides ear plugs, which suggests this is not always the case.
Our toom was smallish. It had microwave , coffee maker etc. The bathroom was small and basic. The hotel is very richly priced for the standard.
There are not sufficient car parks, so you need to arrive early to get a park.
We could not get a drink at the bar nor a seat in the restaurant. You need to book early.

At the eastern edge of downtown Jasper, the Hotel is good. One “Heads up” to patrons… there are 2 parking lots for the hotel! The second one is just a bit west from the first.

Warning! The elevator does not work. If you cannot walk stairs do not stay here! If you drive there is insufficient parking. Room is nice and comfortable assuming you can eventually park somewhere and can climb stairs.

Limited onsite parking is a problem. Very basic hotel with exorbitant price. Misleading name of “studio” room - lots of kitchen cabinet space but totally empty with no utensils. Not worth it.

What a wonderful stay. Each and every member of the staff was so cheerful and helpful. All of them including the front office manager were full of positive attitude and wanted to go the extra mile to help. The property was a little old but that’s a given since it is a mountain town. However the room and the beds were impeccably clean and the in-house restaurant food was superlative.
