This hotel is pretty pricey in comparison to other hotels in Qubec. It is very clean and there is complimentary water if you ask. The location is nice and it is easy to get around. The only downside is that the hotel is in an area were there is a lot of homeless around, but they mostly don't do anything. It is quite noisy at night since it is near a lot of bars. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, convenient, not crowded, convenient location, nice dining

Property is well maintained. The staff were very well mannered and polite. Laurent was very helpful and accommodated our needs. The elevators were a challenge, waiting 20 minutes to take an elevator down to the lobby. the area around the hotel is full of homeless people, therefore walking at night is not recommended.

The first time we walked out of the hotel when we arrived we were attacked by a homeless person, screaming, and swinging a shirt at us as we walk down the block and he followed us until we went into a store The hallways were dirty appeared as though they hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time The people working at the hotel were very friendly and when I refrigerator broke, it was replaced within 30 minutes

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurants were easy to walk to, and Old Québec was only a 15-minute walk away.

The first impression as a tourist was terrible. I had a guest coming from outside of Canada and I was looking to show him the beauty of the Quebec city. Unfortunately, the first thing we saw was huge number of homeless people around the hotel. Inside the hotel was good. Room was clean, bed was comfortable . But, some of the staff are very unfriendly. It doesn’t worth the price I paid. I booked about 2 months in advance. I called and explained the importance of this vacation asking for 2 rooms in higher floor on the same level. When we arrived we got the room on the third floor. I told the person at the front desk about my request.He said there is no note in the file and he has members higher than me who should be taken care of . He gave us 2 rooms in different floors . One had direct view to the street where lots of homeless people were lying down. I asked him to changed the room and he didn’t like it. I don’t recommend this hotel at all if you go to visit the city. It is far from old port comparing to all other places available in old Quebec with lower price. It was just waste of time and money. If you have to pay even more to get something closer to old port just go for it. If you stay in this hotel, there is no walking place around the hotel. you need to pay for the parking and you have to drive to old town and start looking for parking and also pay again if you can find a parking spot. Very disappointed and not happy for a vacation I was planning for long time.

This place was perfect. The staff was helpful and kind. I would recommend this place for any travelers. Saint Joseph right outside the hotel was a perfect place to walk down and enjoy food and drinks!

Great hotel for families. Near Old Quebec area.

The hotel and stay were very nice! We were able to walk to Old Quebec City in about half an hour, or drive easily.

Good hotel in the lower pet of the city.

Location was perfect, so close to all the touristic places in old Quebec. we had booked 2 rooms and we arrived at 4 pm the receptionist told us one room is completely ready and the other one is cleaned but not inspected yet which takes 10 minutes to be inspected. So I asked if we can go to the first room and they will bring us the key for the second room. After 40 minutes I found out that the room was ready but they didn’t call me to come to the lobby nor bringing it to the first room. Everything else was fine. We had no more problem. We didn’t eat breakfast there since it was too expensive.

Room was very clean. Good amenities like pool table. Only down side was that parking was extra and not included.

Room was good and staff friendly. Location was pretty good and about a mile walk to parts of the old town. Knocked a couple of stars off as I try to swim every day and booked this hotel specifically because it seemed to have a good pool, suitable for proper swimming, only to find on check-in that it was closed for about three weeks until around 6 July. Had this info been communicated prior to booking (only the day before) we would have booked an alternative at a similar price, such at the Hilton. Of course, I appreciate facilities sometimes need to close for maintenance, but listing online should be updated to make this crystal clear upfront. Anyway, apart from that the experience was good, and we enjoyed our visit to Québec City.

I felt that even though we were English speaking and did not know any French, staff made sure we had everything we needed and were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Pur is an excellent place for a getaway. Very clean rooms, kind staff. Table the Restaurant had great food, so much so that went back three times.

We did not feel incredibly safe walking near the hotel. The restaurant had wonderful service and looks out onto a beautiful church but many people were camped out, sleeping or begging near the church. It was very sad. We were told that there was valet available but no one was there the day we arrived so we parked across the street at a paid lot there. While the room was clean, many bulbs were burnt out and it seemed like every room on our side of the hotel looked out onto public toilets. The view from the pool was the same. My kids were very excited for the pool but I found it disappointed that quite frequently we would show up and bandaids or other garbage was floating in the pool. It wasn’t the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at but not one I would recommend. The next time we come we will stay somewhere else.

Can't wait to take another trip to QC and stay here, we had a great time. The restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious.

I liked the trip, but is the girl a the lobby say to people that in the 1612’s room on 16th floor there’s a beautiful view of the Chateau Frontenac, it isn’t real, the castle is right behind the buildings 😅
