front desk had no bank drawer on two different morning interactions was forced to use a debit card to make purchase and incur a small transaction fee, slightly inconvenient.

Limited hotels in the upper east side of NYC. We enjoyed a pleasant stay. The staff was attentive and helpful. Lots of good food within walking distance. Central park walks are only a few blocks west.

The rooms were clean and so was the lobby, but the smells of the rooms are not great. Very musty with the old heaters running loud. Such a great location.

The location is across the street from a large low-income housing complex and near some areas where there are often 2 or more homeless people just sitting around. I was with my partner so I felt safe enough but for solo travelers or female travelers, not the best. Our room had cruddy furniture. The bed appeared clean but the sheets had a strange metallic smell to them that was bad enough I felt the need to spray perfume on the sheets. It seems a prior guest drew graffitti on the bathroom wall over the toilet and it couldn't be completely cleaned off which was weird. Considering I paid $565 for the night this is all pretty awful.

Generally excellent facilities and staff service. Problem with taking $200 off my currency card as deposit without my knowledge or permission. This caused difficulties with paying for things.

Came to NY for a hospital procedure. This hotel was the closest to Mt Sinai hospital. The only missing thing is the hotel does not have a restaurant where one can pick up an easy breakfast or snack. Other than that it is more than adequate

Check in was super fast & easy . However there were lots of kids hanging out outside the hotel . Also ballet parking was ridiculously expensive .

Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Lobby was clean, housekeeping staff paid attention to room daily. A/C unit in room was pathetic, could not do anything to help with heat and humidity, even when aided by box fan provided by staff. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Those two factors made this hotel a poor value for the cost.

Overall was good but one of the front staff female was not courteous at all . She was not behaving good since some of my credit cards were declined so she gave me a cols shoulder while she was behaving candidly with other guests.
Breakfast optiin was not there so its a negative also parking option was v expensive by this property. Regardss

The room was clean but very small for the price. I get it is manhattan but the room sleeps 4 but only has 1 chair and a small space.

Good property conveniently located near a lot of dining options. Cane's Chicken, In and Out, Panera Bread, Chipotle, and other are within walking distance. The pool is small and tends to get loud. Conveniently located near San Diego Safari Park.

We just returned from Marriott Upper East side for one night for our daughters graduation . The hotel is conveniently located on the Upper East side NYC with easy access to FDR and subways for transportation etc.
During our stay unfortunately our AC in the room was not functioning properly which made it very uncomfortable at night to sleep on account of the humidity and very high temps in Manhattan during the heatwave. Upon check out I mentioned this to the staff and left the property. To my surprise one hour later I received a call and email from a very helpful employee namely JEFFREY OSTERER
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS he mentioned that he had already refunded my entire stay for the inconvenience! Needless to say we were exceptionally impressed with the customer service here and how this matter was resolved ! Highly recommend the Hotel!

I would place 5 in cleanliness but I saw a lot of dust in the lampshade and the light near the window. They gave us a lot of towels though. Upper east side is a nice area quite like the suburbs in Chicago. Overall I gave a 4.

Hotel is very outdated and definitely needs to be renovated. Carpet is very old and dirty, as well as the bathroom.
