It's an ok place to stay. A little over-priced for the condition of the rooms. The furniture and light fixures are out-dated and worn. The electric plugs and USB ports are stripped. It was a good place to sleep and shower. The beds are very comfortable and clean. It's located in the college-town capital, close to restaurants, shopping, Kentucky State University and the bourbon trail.

Small hotel and the rooms have a moldy smell to them. Just be aware of your surroundings. There were some shady people around..

While staying here I heard a lot of noises which kept me on alert, so I wasn't able to fall asleep until around 3am. The hotel is nice and very clean. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast it ok. But it is held in the front of the front desk. I feel like I was on edge maybe from never being here.

A basic room. A remodel. Tub shower nothing special. Clean. Good bed. Unable to work the TV. I stayed in a Baymont by Wyndham last week for 107 that was light years ahead of The Bluegrass Inn. Both had below par breakfasts. I’d come back.

Conveniently located for our traveling needs. Near a couple of distilleries and near the state capitol. Only drawbacks were traffic noise and some loud guests (which quieted down around 11). But overall, not at bad stay.

Easy inn to stay in before heading to Bourbon trail, staff was friendly and room was clean and pleasant. No ice in machine due to people filling up coolers early in the morning for maintenance crews.

This is a family run budget motel. The room was clean. The bed was super nice. The water in the pool was crystal clear. Breakfast was simple, you could make a waffle, and the coffee was good. We had our two small dogs and everything was good. For a one night stay passing through it was good.

Despite advertizing non smoking rooms, there is no such thing at this property. We tried two different "non smoking" rooms, and both had exceptionally strong smoke smells. Our room was also not cleaned well and we ended up leaving. The property refused to refund us but we would rather lose our money than stay!

This little gem was a pleasant surprise. We usually don't expect much from a budget stay, but we were really pleased with the entire place. Caulking and paint was neat and clean. You could tell there was pride in their work and care for the property and room. Even the room we had was color coordinated. Breakfast offerings were cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, packaged muffins, and Jimmy Deans breakfast sandwiches. They also offered hot waffles, but the spigot for the waffle mix was messed up. (The staff was trying very hard to get it to work again.) There was also apple & orange juice dispensers and coffee. The pool was closed when we were there, but it was sparkling clean. The ice machine worked great. The staff and owner were friendly.

The room could use a bit of updating but it was clean & the bed was comfortable. The toilet had a leak around the base which was reported. The continental breakfast is pretty sad, not much offered.

This is a Road Warrior's Motel. We were in town for 5 days and Bluegrass Inn fit the bill. Comfortable rooms, easy in and out, nice pool, friendly staff, chocolate shop next door, clean enough for me, within 10 minutes of all our events. I'd stay again.

We booked a 5 night stay. When we returned the 4th night there was no water. The man we spoked to said it would be fixed in 45 min. If not he would return our money. Almost 1 hour later, close to midnight, it wasn’t fixed so we went back to the office the man was Gand a woman in his place. She said they were almost finished.. it would be 10 min. But of course it wasn’t.. and of course she wouldn’t give us the money for 2 nights. We could not stay in a motel with no water so we had to find another place.

I'd rate 5 star but it's a little outdated but don't let that deter you. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean although it appears to be an older hotel. The pool was easy to access and clean as well. For the room rate this is a great hotel. For the money, great hotel.

From the outside it looks like a run down motel, but the room is clean, with a wonderful bathroom, tv, fridge and the bed is the best. Staff is available and friendly. I will go there again on m Lexington trips.

Door had to be forcefully shoved to fully close. Breakfast was a joke. Waffle batter empty at 07:30 am and supposed to last till 9:00 am and clerk said they didn’t have any more. That was the only hot choice available and no protein choices!

Booked non smoking, got a smoking room. Room stunk so bad that now everything smells like that. Our air conditioner did not work. Floor was extremely dirty and bedding had multiple stains.
