They changed our stay to another hotel without previous notice.

The views from this hotel are to die for -- a stunning vista of a natural gorge, medieval walls, the monastery-become-parador across the gorge, and the whole hill town curving down below this hotel. The supplement for the good view and balcony are so worth it! Otherwise a fine hotel in a wonderful setting, even if the breakfast spread was a little disappointing.

The room we had was at the back overlooking the river and monestry. It was clean and comfortable with a nice big bathroom. The only downside for us was no coffee making facilities. The breakfast was in a separate room and very good selection. We didn't try the restaurant called Raff, but ate at the Tempo bar and restaurant food was nice.

Great location and you must get at least one night a view of the Parador!

The stay had good and bad points.
The personal of the hotel was very nice, and the hotel itself is charming. The hotel and the room were very clean.
However, I think that we weren't lucky with the room. We paid more to have a room with view, and we ended up with a very small window, at the bottom of the wall. The view was great, but difficult to enjoy... Also, no swimming pool in the hotel as indicated in the listing of the hotel. The swimming pool is at another hotel, hotel which no one gave us the name.

The location is excellent. It is in front of water bridge. I stayed in the room where I could see the bridge. You can directly access to the public parking by the hotel elevator. The breakfast breakfast has a lot of choices and the price is really reasonable. You should try it. If you are tired of Spanish food, then two American fast food restaurants are next to the hotel.

At prime locarion on the main road leading up to the ruins of the city wall from Plaza Mayor. Can walk from here to all main attractions, up or down, from 5 to 20 mins max (new town centre ). Room is reasonably decorated and clean. It was a shame that the in house restaurant -Raff- did not serve dinner until 9pm and did not hv a table without reservation on the one night that I stayed at the hotel. It could use a better hair blow dryer in the bathroom

Stayed in double room with view (304), views were incredible, looking over to San Pablo Monastery and Puente Dr San Pablo bridge.
No parking at hotel, you can pay €16+ per night at car park across the road or drive further up go through the arch and there is free parking around there or big car park further up.
Hotel in excellent setting for walking around. Area not ideal for wheelchairs or buggies due to steep streets.
Loved our stay at this hotel, highly recommend it.

The hotel is in the process of being refurbished and I was given one of the old style rooms. As so many things werent working, the manager Miguel arranged for me to move to another Hotel (same owners) 100m down the road. This new Hotel was 4* but they held the price to the originally agreed one. The service and the way everything was managed was outstanding. This Hotel will be very nice indeed once it is finished, based on the areas that have already been renovated.

Its a great, cosy hotel right in the historic centre of Cuenca. All sites are easy to reach on foot. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. Theres also a reasonably priced spa and hotel bar with nice views. For those driving, if you drive half a kilometre pass the hotel, there is a large free car park available.

Comfortable hotel in historic district near casas colgadas, exactly what we were looking for. Good breakfast next morning. Walking distance from mirador, castle walls. Personnel helpful. I would definitely return here.

It is conveniently located at the city center and the staff is very friendly. We asked them to change the room for another one overlooking the Huecar and they did it without problems.

Location of hotel at the high end of the old town is excellent with magnificent views from the rooms at the back. The hotel has olde worlde character and all the facilities that one would expect. Only problem during my 2 day stay was that maintenance work was being undertaken on the hot water system and consequently there was no hot water. But for this overall rating would be "very satisfied".

The hotel was in an excellent location in the tourist section of Cuenca with a great view. We found the room clean and comfortable and the price was very reasonable. The only thing is there is no parking at the hotel but there is a parking garage very close. We were there in off season and found free parking within 2 blocks.
Considering the location of the hotel we were able to walk to all the tourist sights. Be sure to bring very comfortable walking shoes. The hill is steep so prepare for some rigorous walking to the sights.
There are several museums including the church, all of which were interesting.
It was a great experience!
Don't miss the Ciudad Encantada which is about 30 kilometers away and drive the road that goes below the hanging houses for a different perspective.

This little hotel had great with friendly service. Rooms were small but clean (tiled floors....much better than carpet!). Only drawback is that our room was on the streetside and we heard partiers and everyone walking past. Ask for a room away from the street or be prepared for a restless night!
We did not eat in their restaurant instead went down the street about 3/4 blocks, past the church/main plaza and ate in a small restaurant that had very good food (can't remember the name, but it's on the same side of the street as the hotel) - but bring your dictionary as the menu is not translated and our waitress did not speak English.
For those visiting Cuenca, take some time to enjoy hiking on the paths bordering the town. Peaceful, with stunning views.
