We were very grateful for this room, as we got to the hotel that we booked several months ago, and it was closed due to weather damage. Hotels.com moved us to this one with no additional charge.

Love how close it is to the ocean. Good price. Breakfast was carbs only (cereal, waffles), but with refrigerator and microwave in the room, we did alright!

We found roaches in our room, as well as stains on our sheets, mold in the bathroom and homeless persons pestering my family.

It was a great location. Breakfast was not that grand. Thought it would be more of a Buffett style with the cost of the room

I have never left a poor review, but this place was exceptionally bad from start to finish. The front desk clerk was quite rude to people checking in, not only us. When we got to our room we realized there were no comforters on the bed and no remote for the TV, no big deal but when I went down to ask, clearly was rude again and insisted on coming to the room with me to be sure I wasn't lying. She slightly changed her tune after realizing we weren't. Bathroom was not cleaned well, hair everywhere and split things behind commode. No floor bath mat and only 2 towels for our family of 4. When I called in the morning to see if we could get more towels, they wanted me to bring our dirty ones down to exchange them. I told her no, that my husband and daughter were literally still using them and the rest of us needed to shower. She begrudgingly gave me 3 more. Breakfast was barely that, the waffles were the shining star. One fruit, cereal, toast. No yogurt, protein of any kind available. Elevators all need a good wiping down. For what we paid per night we were expecting better. We literally returned the remote to the front desk as to not be further be treated like liars or criminals.

Great location, walking distance to beach and restaurants. Friendly staff.

Power outage ... hot room ... not really the hotels fault.

The afternoon staff at checkin was very nice and accommodating. There was no breakfast and coffee was stale. The morning front desk lady was pretty rude about it. She openly complained in front of guest that another guest had the audacity to complain that there was breakfast as advertised and wanted her to apologize for the inconvenience and she wasn’t apologizing it’s not like she’s the cook. We had to take our family to a diner and spend even more money. The floor by the balcony was socking wet from the storm, but the beds were comfy and ac worked great.

We arrived a little early & was helped by a wonderful lady named Diana & was able to check in early.

It was good. They were remodeling and the hallways smelt like paint but I didn’t notice it in the room. Service was great and they have a shuttle to take you to the port for a small fee.

Hotel having a major refurbishment- did not affext our stay. Coffee provided in reception, nice touch. Receptionist very informative and friendly - even when explaining room numbers are pencilled on the wall. Great lication

They need some chairs outside under the entrance. Also, no garbage can outside and the one in the lobby was FULL. There were only 2 towels in the bathroom for a party of three. The front desk clerk was working in the laundry room. No welcome or hello. This place is not worth the money.

Area was great, hotel smelled like wet paint but was under some sort of construction

This was a disappointing stay as the hotel and amenities did not match what was portrayed online. No hot tub, even though it was shown in pictures (the staff advised they have been trying to remove those pictures for 4 years). The staff advised the exercise room and laundry room were also not currently available. People book hotels based on what they claim to offer, and we did not get what we paid for. The hallways were dirty, it looked rundown overall and there were cockroaches under our coffee pot when we wanted to make coffee.

after reading other reviews I was a little concerned about the cleanliness. However, it was clean, I did not see or feel any bugs. There are some places need to be painted, but they are renovating and looks like replacing all mattresses. they have a shuttle to cruise terminal for $10 per person and this was timely and professional.

Poor experience. In a nutshell the following, closet door didn't work, bathroom door wouldn't latch, no light bulbs in lamps, lampshades still had plastic wrap on them which had to be removed to prevent from burning of the light bulbs,phone didn't work,mold on the curtains from the A/C , A/C on 4th floor(my floor) was out, Ice machine didn't work. Facility guy took almost 2 hrs to show up.

This property should be due for renovations. We did not enjoy our stay for several reasons and I will list a few here; The bedding smelled of insecticide, carpets were soiled needing steam cleaning, very small TV set (most likely a short-term replacement). The front desk personnel seemed very nice and tried to be helpful, however comparing to other hotels we have stayed at in Galveston, this one is less than be desired.

My son and I really enjoyed our stay this past week, at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Galveston Beach. It was great location to the Sea Wall. The staff, especially Angela was great! Definitely plan on staying again! Thanks.

Room was dirty when we got to the room .trash under the chair by the window,trash under night stand and finger nail clippings on the floor,used tissue in the night stand draw,carpet was sticky in front of refrig.

This hotel was under renovation. There were 5 floors and only the 5th floor had been partially completed, and they were working their way down. We were on the 2nd floor. The water did not get hot. The laundry and recreation room was closed as well. The breakfast area was full of boxes: And breakfast did not include meat, eggs, or yogurt; only cereal, juice, coffee and waffles. The bathroom and sleeping area, especially the curtains were full of mold. I would not have stayed here had I known this, but I let someone else make the reservation.

We paid too much to stay in this hotel. It’s on par with a super 8. Not worth it at all!

Cleanliness was poor the hallways look like they haven’t been vacuumed in a month. Not sure if the hotel is pet friendly but it smells like animals. Overall condition is rundown.

Overall, I would say our one night stay was acceptable and the service that we received made our experience. Initially, we were helped by a front desk agent who was incredibly friendly, quick and attentive. However, as someone who has stayed at a variety of hotel chains was more sub-par. The size of the room and bathroom were actually surprising but looking closely, we noticed that there was considerable wear and tear from time. As well, the room looked to be half cleaned. The bedding and bathroom looked like they were cleaned more than the additional space in the room.

You get what you pay for.. This place was a dirty and had mold.
