I really enjoyed my stay at Dormy Inn. I'm amazed it is only rated 3 stars. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is very close to good bars and restaurants, also the main railway and bus stations. The hotel itself is modern and the interior tastefully designed. Scrupulously clean. I didn't use the restaurant. There are vending machines and smoking rooms on 3 levels. Any type of drink can be purchased. Also an ice machine, microwave, trouser press. There is a free laundrette with a small charge for the tumble dryers. 2 massage chairs and free coffee in reception after 3pm. The star attraction of course, is the natural hot spring in the beautifully designed bathing area with a sauna included. All lounge wear supplied. I used it twice a day. Sometimes at 2am when I couldn't sleep from jet lag after travelling from London. Followed by a beer from the vending machine. Think of all the hotels that charge the same or more, that don't have a hot spring. The Dormy Inn wins hands down. I rarely miss being at a hotel, but I miss staying at this one. Only 3 stars! It will always be 5 stars from me. A big thank you to all the wonderful staff. From the great cleaners to those on reception.

the hotel was nice, modern and clean, and there were so many amenities! great price too! I highly recommend to anyone staying in Gifu.

We had 3 persons and we got two rooms with 3 beds, which is rather difficult to find. The onsen in the hotel is excellent. The parking lot next to the hotel has access to the second floor of the hotel, which makes things easy. Lots of eateries in the neighbourhood. We were all happy with this hotel. Maybe it's low season so that the price was very good for what we got. Highly recommended.

It was very easy to get to from the station. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really delicious. This chain is my very favorite, and this location was particularly nice.

Good stay for one night. The onsen was beautiful. The rooms are not large, but the bed was comfortable.

I do love this hotel! They have beautiful hot spring and free noodle after 21:30! They provide free self-laundry service and coin dryer service, which allows you to clean your clothes. Moreover, there are two coin-massage chairs for visitors! Give it a try, it helps you to relax after your trip. For visitors who drive by car. You can use the car-park nearby; It costs you 1000 yen per day. There is an alleyway on the 2/F which connect both the hotel and the car park, which relief you from carrying big luggage.

It is a short walk to the JR Gifu station and the nearby eating district.

A hot spring is very good hot water and it's wonderful to put midnight in anytime. There was a roof in many parts by Gifu station direct connection, so even Yuki could access rain easily. The point that an outfit before departure has no showers in the room is a little regrettable.

Very good location. About 10 mins walk via cross overbridge. So you dont have to walk on the street. Close to malls and restaurants. The room is very clean and decorated with minimal Japanese asthetic. Love it.

The hotel is just next to the JR station. There is not much things to do nearby, while you can find some restaurants in the station mall. Facilities are good but don’t expect a large room or hot springs

Still a good place for leisure travelers. The baths were nice and clean, great location with access to sky path which takes you to gifu station. They adhere strictly to check in time, but it's a giant corporate chain for business travelers.

The hotel is connected to the train and bus station by a skywalk which means no stairs which is very useful with suitcases. Rooms are small but comfortable. As usual with these hotels ramen is provided as a snack every evening. The onsen is great although can get a little crowded. Overall the hotel is good value.

very clean, conveniently located, good amenities, fairly priced for what you get (and its a good offering). make sure to get the breakfast - it was the best we had in a hotel during our trip! not a whole lot to do in the area itself, but if youre looking for a stop on your way to Osaka/Kyoto, this is worth considering!
