Went for a weekend getaway we found the statsman very comfortable the hotel was spotless and the rooms where great,good location not far from popular sites would highly recommend

The only reproach we could make concerns the tidy up of the room, the bed is not made, which is not a real problem, but neither are the dishes (glasses, mugs and teaspoons), and neither washing-up liquid nor tea towels are provided. Poor housekeeping…

Unfortunately I stayed 4 nights & the room was only serviced once. I sent a message & the room was serviced but unfortunately not again.
If the rooms are not serviced daily this should be stated.
Towels not replaced, bed not made up or fridge restocked with milk.

Great staff. Quiet room. Clean and comfortable.
Bed was good. Super warm shower. Nice balcony.
Food was perfect in their dine in section (and you can dine in your room).
Bar prices and all drinks available, brilliant.
Although working away from home, the peace, quiet and comfort made the trip easy. 6 stars

It was very clean and neat. We liked the fact that the rooms are keyless and opened by code, which mean that we could arrive at any any time with no front desk to worry about.

The rooms were clean and modern with a comfortable bed and conveniently close to the hospital. The staff were friendly and approachable. The food was good too.

Stayed for five nights - bins weren’t emptied at all, towels not replaced (though 2 were provided), and sheets not changed or bed made!

The hotel was fine, the restaurant was great, so was the food and the staff. I would use it again, but not in the same room or that section of the building, as there was a compressor that kept on kicking in 24 hours. Daytime is ok, but during the stillness of the night is sounds terrible and kept me from having a good sleep. Whatever the noise, let someone have a look at it.

The property doesn't look very flash from the outside but the rooms are modern and clean. We had a comfortable bed and quiet room, apart from the usual shower noise from adjoining rooms. There is dining available at the site if required. Auto check-in works well with a code sent to you on the day if check-in to open the electronic door locks. There is 'stairs only' access to most rooms.

The shower cycling from cold to scalding hot was not nice. Actually dangerous. There was no room in the gated car park. The cold tap in the sink could not be shut off. A spare, slightly thinner, pillow would have been nice.
Otherwise quite nice.

This was a wonderful hotel! Newly renovated, comfy bed, great little balcony, nice bathroom, and a smart tv which meant we could actually watch shows from our streaming services or YouTube instead of being stuck with free tv or Foxtel like most hotels. Also, the reception staff were really lovely and helpful, both over the phone and in person! Not to mention, check in and check out was extremely easy - they just text you your door passcode and you’re good to go. There was also a lovely hotel and cafe that was part of the hotel, wish we were staying longer so we could’ve had dinner there one night.

Good value meals in the spacious pub restaurant. Coles and shops only 100 meters away.
The complex is dated. Bathroom is tiny. Aircon is noisy.

The place is a bit fiddly to find and probably not ideal for people with mobility challenges. Parking is not near the rooms. The room itself was very comfortable and roomy and clean, good water pressure. I couldn't get the room warm enough for my liking.

It is not a place to use if you have trouble walking stairs as it have stairs everywhere. Thin walls so you can hear a lot from the next room. No real breakfast available, just a bar with coffee and croissants.

Nice bed and great doona, fresh towels the next day. Centrally located to town and other districts, the room was modern, and plenty of power points. We’ll be back to the statesman hotel. Good salads and real barramundi.
