Stay was good. The room service could improve a little. Manager was great - really looked after us.

Functional, placed in a good location to the night market, and Mekong promenade. The staff were friendly and place was clean. Not the most comfortable, and you could smell the smoking from the terrace. Hotel reception is oddly placed back from the restaurant you need to walk through.

Friendly staff and hotel locate at city centre. Leave early morning at 5.30am, they prepare breakfast for us to take away. :)

Did not visiting Vientiane for a while. Materially it has been improved but conditionally not to the Vientianeses. Sanitaries are as bad as ten years ago or more maybe. Vientiane CBD is such a small compact and lovely area, Hoping someone will peel the eyes and see the dust. Until then Vientiane will look sad and gloomy.... To add on small comments to improve the hotel: For the Hoel the bathroom is unacceptable, no-one would like to walk on wet floor. it needs to be refurbished. Fake green lawns at the front of hotel should be replaced by appropriate tiles. Colours of the hotel should be changed to be different from others. Sorry cannot recommend to no-one for the hotel in this conditions and for this price. Competitors are just around the corners. Hope these comments are helpful and for the better....

One side of the hotel is subject to noise from the bar/nightclub next door. Staff was great, as was the location

lovely little hotel. Jacuzzi worked a treat and hotel was clean and in a good location. There were no western breakfast options the bed was a bit hard, but that was to be expected. Good value for money

Usouk hotel, is the best value hotel in Vientiane. During my 2 week holiday - we stayed at much more expensives hotels than Usouk - but we were disappointed in the service and general condition of the hotels and felt they misrepresented themselves with pictures online and reality completely different. Usouk isn't pretending to be anything fake, it's a clean, mid-range hotel, with excellent facilities and amazing service. We stayed at the spa suite - which was fantastic and well-worth the extra IMO. William (the hotel manager) was very professional and friendly. Picked us up from the airport (as he promised) drove us back to the airport - and even allowed us a late check-out (free of charge). I can honestly recommend anyone wishing to enjoy their stay in Vientiane - to stay at Usouk hotel. You won't be disappointed. It's the best value hotel in Vientiane - we will be staying again soon. Didnt get off to the best of starts when our airport pickup was a no show, despite email confirmation... Fortunately the hotel is a 10 min taxi ride (57000 Kip), so no real harm done. The hotel is pleasant, breakfast was decent, and the location is just a short walk for the main part of town. Enjoyed our stay. Wifi was superb

Lots of TV channels in different languages 9. Thoughtful availability and placement of a universal electrical outlet! No need for adapter plug! 10. Reasonably-priced room Not so good 1. Mini fridge not working 2. Would have liked a curtain separating the shower area so the entire toilet would not be wet and dangerously slippery after a nice, not shower. Suggest provide an anti-slip mat otherwise. 3. A fair distance to the night market / Mekong River - about 10-15 minutes walk. Ok in cool December weather, except when it rains.

The hotel staff know that I am a private person and they do not try to sell me any tour. They leave me in peace.

We had a great stay at Usouk. On arrival, the receptionist had placed us in a wrong that we didn’t book, however, he upgraded us when I’ve informed him. The room was one of the best in the hotel! It was very clean, spacious & comfortable. The location is also walking distance to the Night market and many restaurants.

Checked in after lunch, took a comfortable rest for hours and left in the evening to fly home

Quiet and good location. Clean room and provide all basic needs. Safe box, mini fridge, 2 table n 2 side bed table. Breakfast Laos food with toast bread n good coffee n tea using high professional equipment. Walkable to all area without taking tuk tuk.

We enjoyed our stay at Usouk Hotel, it felt reasonably new, everything was clean and the room was comfortable, staff were very professional. The only downside was the very small bathroom with no shower recess or curtain, therefore water goes everywhere when showering, toilet and floors wet, nowhere to put clothes or towel in bathroom without getting them wet also whilst showering. Apart from that, the hotel is fine for a few nights stay in this lovely city.

I chose q room that had no window, but on in the wall behind the bed their was a paperwall that gave the impression of a curtain so it wasn't bothering at all and even better as the room was totally dark. The two little minuses would be the noise from the hall. If someone knocks at my neighbor's door I will hear as if it's on my door.

Though this hotel has recently remodeled, the interior looks aged. Room staffs looked friendly but they sometimes forgot to supply deliver. Hotel rate is thought reasonable to stay in convenient location.

Location : This hotel is well located, in a walking distance to super market or restaurants. Night market is just 10 to 15 mins walk away. The Room : I had got upgrade to Junior Room, the room is nice with comfortable bed and pillows, all round good standards, come up with safety box (laptop size). Service : Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was fine, eggs, sausage, asian dish, juice, fresh fruits,fresh coffee. I can recommend this hotel highly!
