The staff was very friendly. Very conveniently located. The room smelled a little musty on arriving got better the next day.

This property is old. But we had nice stay. It was clean and fairly comfortable. But it is greatly in need of some updates. Even just a new pull out couch in the living room. It was super clean, and easy to get places. Fine for a family, but nothing fancy. Almost like staying in a campground cabin. But it got the job done, very long walk onto the beach. But flat and not too bad.

Smelly room. According to Expedia, the room was booked as “partially ocean view”. But we were offered ground floor room..horrible

Absolutely amazing. Perfect location and family friendly. My son loved that housekeeping arranged his stuffies. Will definitely go there again.

I like this hotel, especially the staff. They are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the beach and quiet at night. It is very clean too.

Good service and clean. The smaller bed was a rock, very uncomfortable. The carpet was damp due to the air conditioning running at 67*. Sound travels via the bathroom. Very 1970’s decor. Parking was tight. My new car was scratched about 4 inches.

We have been going to this hotel for around 12 years. It is an amazing place to stay. Safe and quiet.

Ended up being a last minute booking due to another hotel not honoring our reservations. Judy at front destvwas awesome!! Hotel was clean and we slept 5 very comfortably. It was very busy and had an available parking space, but when we left for dinner and returned, no parking available, due to no fault of hotel. Other guests felt the need to take up 2 spaces for 1 car. Did find parking on adjacent street. It is on the far end, so will need to drive to Boardwalk areas. Great hotel, would recommend!

Great environment for family and kids

It was spacious and overall pretty clean, but sometimes there is a musty smell.

Friendly staff and clean rooms and areas. The cleaning staff even tucked in my kids stuffed animals in the bed I thought that was adorable! Location was perfect only con I would say was the lighting in the room could have been better other than that would definitely stay again!

Great property right on the beach - they have a saltwater pool and it’s clean and convenient. Stay with kids was good, it’s right next to a splash pad and a playground which the kids loved. There is also a bike rental right next to the beach that is very convenient.

We had a great stay. The hotel has all your basic needs and its located in a great section of Wildwood Crest. Nothing fancy, but clean, spacious and safe. The staff is attentive and friendly. Will return.

wonderful easy access to beach

We stayed in a double suite. This meant we had a separate room for the beds and a kitchenette. The fridge was full size, and it had everything we really needed. I have celiac and had to have a place to fix my own food as opposed to eating out. It had plenty of space to spread out for our family of 5. We could get up and go to the other room without worry about waking others up. The ac is also in the bedroom which was also great. We had a decent view and could atleast see the ocean. Now the cons; *The room was not as clean as it should have been. Hair and dust everywhere was so bad my brother in-law walked in and had an immediate sneeze attack. We had 2 rooms and both my sister inlaw and myself had to clean the rooms to feel comfortable. The sheets were clean, but the dust and hair were aweful. Also we found spots of blood on our bathroom wall and light switch. Thankfully my sister inlaw is a germaphobe and she had disinfectant wipes in her car. So after a really good wipe down we were set for our stay. If it had had a cancelation refund i probably would have taken that route, however im glad we didnt it was worth just wiping it down myself to take the guesswork out rather than find a new place to stay at such a good price and location. *Loved that the beach was close, but the pics made it look like it was right ON the beach and it was accross a park and street (which a Wasnt a deal breaker). Over all once we cleaned the rooms the stay was nice.

The rooms were very clean and equipped with the simple essentials needed to cook a quick meal. Bbq area is very clean and spacious enough for grilling a full meal. The pool was clean but the only caveat or better said con is where the pool is located, the sun only shines till about 1:30p by 2p you are in full shade. We didn’t use the pool for that reason and spent the days at the beach which is right across the street. Bike rentals are also very close by. We personally will not stay again because of the pool shade and we usually like to go to beach and come back to Pool about 3p ish. Otherwise if your plan is to enjoy beach and be in a quiet environment without the noise and craziness of the boardwalk.. then this place is great for you and your family. Front desk staff is very nice as well as all other staff we encountered.

It was a great fun experience staying at the hotel, the employees were helpful, and so nice. Definitely recommend this place to stay for your vacation…

My family has stayed here several times over the years. It’s a very nice place! The front office staff are so kind and able to answer anything. The cleaning staff are great! My kids love coming back to the room to see what it looks like (towels folded into animals, etc). We will go again. We have stayed in all of the room options and they are very good. The pool is a nice way to unwind after a day on the beach or boardwalk. I just can’t say enough about The Lotus. We love it and will continue to return there.

The staff was very accommodating. The grills are large enough for a full meal if needed. The only negative was no regular frying pan in the room so bring a small one. And when i boiled water for my morning tea it kept setting the smoke alarm off in my room.

We stay for a long weekend. The location is great , across street from park and beginning of the boardwalk. We had a gorgeous view of the ocean. John B. at check in was Very welcoming and helpful. However, Judy at the front desk could use some manners. She was almost rude to me about my service dog and had a bit of an attitude toward me. I didnt like that, but i liked the place

Beautiful property. Staff is unbelievably friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended if you have children and want to stay away from the wildness that can be the boardwalk. Couldn’t be happier woth my experience.

We would highly recommend staying here. The staff is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is what you would expect. This is one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in and very reasonably priced. We love that it is non smoking and no vaping allowed. It is family oriented, great view of the beach and within walking distance or a short drive to restaurants, wildwood board walk, Cape May and Ocean City.
