This was a very unique property, right in the heart of the town. A perfect location to explore the area.

Our room was much larger than we expected - separate receiving room from the bedroom, and separate toilet from the bathroom (with tub!). It's much bigger than most rooms in Europe, and this is in an old town! Staff was very friendly and seemed to anticipate our needs.

Beautiful hotel right in the center of Saint Emillion. Our room was truly amazing with the largest bathroom I’ve ever had in a hotel. Despite its age the hotel also had air conditioning which was a bonus. Parking was a challenge. They do have a car parking area but we didn’t find it but got luckily on a parking space that was actually closer and cheaper trying to find the hotel one. You will have to drag your luggage a fair way and the last 10 yards or so is either down or up a very steep, cobbled street which was not easy to walk without bags so I’d recommend traveling light if staying here. Lots of dining options but the best ones do require reservations in advance.

Staying at the Logis de la Cadene was an amazing experience. It is located right in the heart of the village, so you can walk to restaurants, wine tasting.... The Logis is an old building, but full of charm and nicely kept and clean. Our room and bathroom was super romantic and spacious. Breakfast is included and quite tasty. And not to forget that there is a 1 Star Michelin restaurant downstairs: the food there was divine. Extra thank you to all the staff (specially Celine) working there for always being some friendly and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely return to the Logis very soon.

Beautiful hotel, so tastefully decorated. Very comfortable rooms (once we sorted air conditioning out - it was very hot when we visited). Breakfast was very relaxing, and pace of life good. Hotel Organised a free wine tour with guide and tasting. We could not fault this experience. Access to the hotel is not suitable for the infirm. Very steep cobbled, slippery access with intermittent hand rails. We discovered alternative access which was more suitable.

Having a Michelin Star restaurant in the lobby was incredible, and our dinner experience there was one of the finest in my life. The food, the service, the atmosphere were all fantastic. Otherwise, the hotel was very charming, perfectly situated for walking around the down town, steps away from the main square. And the staff were one after another sweet, kind, and went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Charming property in a great location in the center of Saint Emilion. The only caveat is that finding the property and then managing the off site parking and the bags is tricky. Also no help with bags up the stairs so this hotel will not work for everyone.

This is an AWESOME place to stay. Right in the middle of town. The staff were amazing and very helpful!!! Highly recommend this hotel! We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay in Saint Emilion, the hotel was right in the centre of the town and good location to explore the area. Staff were really helpful, and managed to get us a reservation for the restaurant at really short notice - food and wine were amazing (good recommendation for the other night we were there as well). Room was clean and bathroom was massive, with a really good shower. Although in the centre, was really quiet at night. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff were so lovely at what is a very difficult time. The restaurant was wonderful & the food fabulous! So sad to cut short our stay & would love to return.

I couldn't sleep ... and I even went downstairs to move a fan from the restaurant to the room myself in the middle of night. However, the other things are good. It would be a perfect stay and dinner if the air conditioner were functioning well.

Beautiful small hotel in the center of St Emilion. All the style and quality of a grande inn but without pretension. A very warm and welcoming place. We also enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant

The manager, Andressa, and the rest of the staff were marvelous! I needed to see a doctor and she got everything arranged before we arrived. THANK YOU! The hotel location, the room, food, and staff were great. Highly recommend this hotel.

Well worth spending the night AND dining at the hotel. Over the top service and they helped us park, carry our luggage from our car, and enough service people to accommodate every need. Loved the place!

Wonderful Accommodations and quaint village which welcomes all with open arms

The room is very nice and size is ideal. The bathroom is very clean with a stand alone bathtub aside from shower and commode area . they have welcome pastry and daily complimentary water, coffee, tea. It’s located in a very good area in Saint Emilion just next to the famous church. The Logis de la Cadene restaurant is the highlight of our stay. It’s a Michelin star restaurant . It’s a truly a good experience and food is excellent and extra ordinary . One must to experience dining here and I would say , after dining, you will raise your bar on Michelin restaurants

Lovely hotel with great staff. Be prepared to have a walk with your luggage as hotel parking is a walk away. St Emillion is beautiful but has steep cobbled streets which can make luggage transfer difficult. No lift in the hotel. Book ahead for the restaurant as you don't want to miss out on a wonderful dining experience. The truffle risotto was delicious!
