The hotel was great the pictures do not do it justice. It was a very clean and cozy hotel that is quiet and is close to everything you need.

Expensive for the quality of the room, though overall clean and fine. I guess it was a coveted weekend. We left our belongings in the room after 11 am (checkout time) because we wanted to get a quick meal, and were back by 11:30, which for almost $300 a night seemed pretty reasonable given the circumstances (yes, you may need to wait to clean, sorry…) and got haggled by the staff for leaving our stuff in the room. If you’re paying that much, don’t ask questions…anyway. Overall fine.

Ok, so the outside doesn't look like much and frankly, the rooms are quirky.... That said, it was an awesome place. There were so many great details they got right. Really nice touches such as a personal welcome note. the breakfast wasn't hot but it was GREAT. Fresh berries, good coffee, great bread, a really nice lady keeping it fresh. They communicated with us super well. 100% recommend and I travel a lot.

The staff, location and amenities were so great. We ate at the restaurant (a simple burger and fries) and it was also excellent. The rooms were quiet and had everything we needed. We felt safe, comfy and enjoyed it. Oh, and the breakfast snacks and coffee were delish.

Quaint, quiet, and comfortable! We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed a meal at Tracy’s on the front patio with a nice view of the lake. Too bad the HS is right across the street but otherwise view is beautiful! Clean room with comfortable bed and attention to detail. Ours was a small room and we had everything we needed for our stay. We would stay here again!

If you want to hear people drinking and yelling all night while try to rest from a long day stay at the expensive rooms above the hotel. NOT FUN. and no one cared

Loved the staff and the fact that this was the first room on my trip with the same price point that had been updated in this century! The room was quiet, clean, and inviting! The parking lot was a bit tricky for larger vehicles, but manageable in a compact SUV. I wasn’t a huge fan of all the stairs out front, but it was to be expected given where I was. The restaurant onsite was fabulous!

Nice Property! Higher quality rooms need to be connected with the rest of the rooms for access to the breakfast lounge. Access because they are separate could be a put off in the winter for some.

Functional verses fashion is how I would describe the Inn. It was very clean and all of the furnishings were in good working shape and appeared to be relatively new. However, the color scheme used was very dark in nature: greens, browns and blacks. The windows are very small which with the colors used made the unit feel very cave like. Our unit back up to a hill, so it did not have any view to speak off. However, it is very close to down town and area attractions as well as a friendly staff.

Great find in Munising! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very unique old building nicely converted to a boutique hotel and restaurant. They think of little things like having a basket of extra towels in the ice room in case you need them and making sure there is an easy place to plug in devices on both sides of the bed. We stayed in two different rooms becuase there was a lake view room available the second night of our stay but not the first. Each room is different and unique but comfortable. The towels are fluffy and beds are comfortable with high-quality sheets. Staff is super helpful! Breakfast is definitely an upscale continental spread - bakery goods and fresh bagels, fresh berries, and fresh-cut fruit complimented the typical yogurt, cereal, toast offerings. Loved our stay so much!

The room is very nice and clean. The only thing that could be improved is the kettle provided in the room for coffee was dirty and not usable.

Had a wonderful stay over the July 4th holiday. We were able to watch the fireworks from the front patio of the hotel which overlooks the bay. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and modern with upscale amenities. Plenty of parking. The staff, like most of the townspeople, are very friendly. The restaurant is highly rated with a full bar and local options. Continental breakfast in the lounge. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the Lumber Barron Suite. The largest and very nice room. It sits directly over the restaurant with outdoor seating directly below the terrace. It is very loud at night. After the first night we commented and we were assured the music would be off at 10 pm sharp. Instead, the music was on until after 11. Staff cleaning went on and each night the room was very noisy. A fine room if peace and quiet is not a priority.

This is the second time we have stayed at Roam Inn and very pleased! Everything was perfect. Quiet, roomy, good location, clean and friendly! Ate at Tracy's both visits and had delicious meals. A little pricey but worth it! We'll be back.

Luxurious Stay in the Lumber Baron’s Suite. We loved the spacious suite, lake view, balcony, comfy king bed, and seating areas. Our dinner of small plates at the restaurant was delicious, exquisitely plated, and accompanied by refreshing creative mocktails. (Of course, they have cocktails, too.) All the service was excellent and the hotel was very clean with tasteful decor. The fresh fruit and muffins at the continental breakfast were a cut above the typical.

The property was fine. Service was poor as no one is at the desk at all times. Big issue was they charged us $500 for smoking in the room which we did not do. After several conversations, they still won’t give us our money back. We did not smoke in the room. Totally unfair and we are fighting it.

The place was very nice almost reminded us of a B&B. We were disappointed the bar & dining room were closed the two nights we stayed. It was Memorial weekend. This was super cute and very clean. It was close to many places to eat and the cruise for Picture of rocks. We would stay again for sure!

When we arrived there was no staff and we were provided with a lockbox and a phone number to text if there were any issues. There was a smell of gas and an alarm going off. I texted the number and never heard back until the morning. They wound up refunding my stay.

What a beautiful place! Everything at the Roam Inn is high quality, from the furniture, over the bedding to their service. Even the water kettle in our room was special. Our room was beautiful and spacious, the entire place had somewhat like a European feel to it. I am glad we found this gem, you won’t find the average hotel experience here.

We stayed in the off season so checking in was slightly different but easy to do. Rooms are fantastic with more than enough room and comfortable bed and furnishings. Commons area was well stocked with snacks. Great place and would stay again.

Really nice, good sized room with modern finishes, and a huge bathroom. The only negative was the pillows were too soft. I am a firm pillow sleeper and brought mine from home in case I needed it. The Inn is in a great location, too, near Pictured Rocks and Marquette, so plenty to do in the area.

This hotel is on the south shore of Lake Superior, right next to Pictured Rocks Nation Lakeshore, a national park. The staff are outstanding, the room beautiful and roomy, and Lake Superior is right across the highway, albeit on the other side of the highway. Rooms are very clean, upscale, and new. I have stayed in many, many hotels. This is one of my favorites. Remote but beautiful. I highly recommend Roam Inn for anyone considering having a look at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, the natioanl park just east of this hotel.
