This is my second stay on this property. First time we stayed it was a lovely room with a mountain view, so this time we requested a mountain view room. It was a mountain view room but then we can’t really see the mountain because from our window there are few trees that are blocking the view. My hubby requested it, because he loves to drink coffee in the morning and love to see the the mountain. This stay is not memorable compare to our last stay.

Checked in before supper. Room was comfortable and clean. Fire alarm went off around 4am, but was handled quickly. Staff responded quickly to guest's inquiries and were apologetic.
I wanted to have the buffet breakfast and bring food back up to my room as I had work to do, but it's only offered in restaurant. This is my one critique - it would be nice to offer a takeout option as some guests may prefer to eat back in their hotel room.

Our stay was good except for being placed in not the main building without knowing that at time of booking - would have preferred to be notified beforehand that we were booking a room in a seperate building from the pool and other amenities.

I am not sure where they dug the furniture up from but it was older then dirt with so many gauges and scratches. None of it was matching. The mattress was hard as a rock and bathroom sink was all cracked. I will give it credit for being clean though.

24/7 concierge and complimentary tea and coffee at all times. There is a pool, waterslide, jet pool and arcade room at the hotel which is nice for families with children. Only complaint would be noise. Because it's literally next to the rail will hear when the trains passing through the night. There are also a lot of tours that stay here and those guests are in the hallways talking loudly around 6am in the morning and doors are not sound proof. Hotel did give complimentary earplugs but may not recommend if you are light sleeper. The hair dryer was not working but we brought our own.

I really liked they have a small gift for our dogs when checking in! Our room was smaller than I expected, and the bathroom very small. But the property itself was nice! It was within walking distance to many things, so it had a great location.

We spent one night at the hotel as we had activities planned in Banff for two days. We enjoyed the hot tub. The front desk staff were pleasant ans the hotel and room was clean. I would stay again.

This property is well located to restaurants and other amenities. It is located right beside railway tracks with 12-15 trains per day passing. If noise bothers you, this is not the place. One elevator was not working, but the stay was satisfactory.

For the cost of this hotel, it was horrible. Very outdated, not overly clean, there was food left in the fridge from the occupants before our stay. The sink in the bathroom was cracked and the toilet did not flush properly. Mattress was uncomfortable The breakfast was not included and was way too expensive considering the cost of the stay. Parking at times was not available at times like there was more cars then rooms. I would not recommend anyone to stay here

My wife and I traveled with our 21 month old toddler and were very pleased with our stay.
Pros:
- Location: A short walk from downtown and the river trail, via the adjacent pedestrian train crossing.
- Amenities: There is a pool and hot tub with a fantastic water slide. Additionally there is a games room and coffee/tea station near the lobby.
- Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was very good and reasonably priced
Cons:
- No balconies
- Rooms are dated and a bit small
Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and the hotel exceeded our expectations for a more budget friendly option in Canmore.

I kept getting woke up by loud people in the hall way. Turned out it was the workers talking and joking loud when I got dressed and went out to see what it was the second night. They did close the door between the reception area and the rooms but I already lost sleep for two nights.
