I was disappointed that I was not allowed to check in early (my colleague and I reached the hotel around 11.30am). A little generosity would have left a better impression on us, especially considering that many rooms would have been free at the time we came to the hotel as a lot of guests check out early. Besides, I checked out at 5am the next day, so no appreciation was shown for my not using the full benefit of the hotel facilities. A really good hotel chain always allows early check-in if rooms are available as this generates goodwill among guests.

The staff speaks basic English, the rooms are clean and there's daily housekeeping if you request for it. The only drawback was theres hardly and trash bin in the hotel except in the rooms. There's a little convenient storencorner which only accepts cashless paynentm however, theres no bins around to dospose off the instant noodles that's sold there. That is really inconvenient. Otherwise, the stay is satisfactory. As the location is near to malls and subway station

One simply cannot beat this location. It is still centrally located but is not situated right in the middle of the action. From Hotel JAL, we were able to walk to Tenjin, Daimyo and OhoriPark. We highly recommend this hotel!

The staffs were beyond rude, unhelpful and pretentious. They were very hospitable towards japanese but not towards tourists like ourselves. They did not greet nor smile during check in and check out. I needed to freeze my ice pack and borrow their freezer as I was carrying breastmilk and they made it seem like a chore. It was so odd that even requesting to book a taxi was a problem. The one during check out takes the cake. He didn't acknowledge our presence, glared at my mother and was very impatient and rude. If you do not want to serve tourists, do not work in this industry. It was absolutely infuriating and disgusting to be treated with such disrespect without reason. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. Location is ok but not the best.

Hotel is new and clean. Location is excellent and right in the city centre of Fukuoka. However, staff manner needs to be improved (especially to foreigner!) and should add at least a small gym room.

The hotel is close to many tourist spots. Usually with 10 to 15 minutes walk you will get to shopping malls and restaurants.
The hotel is very clean and quiet at night. Coin-operated washer is available. I find it very helpful.

As one would expect from JAL, the hotel is in a very convenient location, about 10 stops from the Fukuoka airport via subway. Easy access to downtown. Clean, and calm, the hotel feels newer and stylish. Nice accents and subtle lighting throughout. Excellent amenities and beautiful o-furo bathroom, separate from the toilet. Deep bath with luxurious rain shower. Bed is comfortable with a variety of pillows. Nespresso machine in the room won’t disappoint early risers with online appointments back home. 6:30 to 9:30, breakfast is a wonderful, all-you-can-eat spread with so many options, from Western to Japanese style.

I especially want to complain about the very bad attitude of the hotel staff Mr. Shimofuye(下福葉） He seemed not to welcome us. I haven’t seen the smile of him for 5days. He seemed very impatient and unwilling to provide us with services. I hope the hotel can face up to the relevant issues and strengthen relevant staff training.

My husband and I stayed for a 7 night workcation. We worked for several hours and then explored Fukuoka the rest of the day. The hotel was able to accommodate our request for the longer desk with 2 chairs by the window. Desk was not super spacious, but roomy enough for 2 laptops and 2 portable monitors, plus note pads and phones. Wifi was good. Hotel few steps away from Akasaka train station and near many delicious dining options. Tenjin train station and Donki also easy to walk to in 10-15 minutes. So much shopping close by. Staff very helpful and kind even though I bothered them with questions just about every day. Would stay here again.

Overall a very convenient hotel to stay for travelling, especially with a Baby! The hotel provides baby cot, baby bath seat and a pack of child amenity on request (requires prior arrangement after booking). However we were a bit disappointed after we found out the cleaning staff didn’t vacuum clean our room when they make up the room on second day.

Stayed here a second time in 2 months. A total of 14 days. Enjoy the breakfast served in the mornings. The friendly housekeeping staff and front desk! Domo Domo Domo arigato! A very convenient area for shopping the subway and eating. Will be back and will always stay here.
