Stedets lokation var fantastisk og serviceniveauet fra personalet var noget af det bedste, vi har oplevet. Ejeren, Dan, var yderst hjælpsom og imødekommende. Det samme var stedets daglige manager, Bibiane, som gjorde alt for at opholdet kunne være dejligt for os. Alt personalet var meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Vi kan kun varmt anbefale The Drexel House Kenya til alle, som gerne vil have en skøn oplevelse.

The Drexel House Kenya er et af de bedste overnatningssteder, vi har været på med et servicenuveau, der på alle måder fortjener den bedste bedømmelse. Virkelig en perle, hvis man vil bo skønt, sikkert og godt beliggende i Karen. Morgenmanden var på alle måder god. Personalet fremragende med det virkeligt højt serviceniveau.

Very friendly staff! Courteous and always available to help. We traveled with 2 kids 5 & 3 yrs old and they immediately took to Drexel house as if its their home. We stayed at Drexel house before and after our safari and highly recommend this location to families.

I loved the customized nature of the service - Bibiana went out of her way to make us comfortable, and the fact that they allow flexible check out time based on the nature of your flight - that blew my mind.

Unlike many other hotels, the Drexel House offers much more to its guests than it promises. During our stay, both Dan and the hotel staff made us feel at home and became like a family with the guests staying with us at the same time. You can observe the refined taste of its owner, Dan, in every corner of Drexel House, which fills the definition of a boutique hotel. You can spend the whole day reading a book, chatting with your loved ones, sipping your tea/coffee and eating your meal in its authentic and peaceful garden. The best thing is that you can have your breakfast at any time you want, you can't have such luxury anywhere! We are grateful to Dan, the owner of the hotel,and dear Bibiana who personally took care of my mother and niece who was sick when we arrived at the hotel, and did their best so that they can recover quickly. Happily provided whatever we needed! We look forward to visiting them again in the shortest possible time! And I believe that even after years, Drexel will maintain its current quality and offer the highest quality service to its guests. Boutique Hotel at its best!

Wonderful stay! Beautiful house & grounds. Food was great. Staff was kind and helpful. Exceptional value. The Drexel will be our hotel of choice for future visits to Nairobi.

Absolutely excellent stay. The staff are so lovely and helpful, especially Bibiana who made us feel very welcome and cared for. The house and room was very clean, with a beautifully maintained and peaceful garden. We felt very safe. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We had full English, pancakes, fresh juices, fruit and more. Would 100% come back.

This charming country house is in Karen End, which is quiet and beautiful. Be aware that this location is not really "in Nairobi" in terms of city life. The style is comfortable and in the old style. The hosts and staff are exceptional and able to meet any reasonable demand. Dinner can be ordered in advance, if you want to dine in. Breakfast is ample and varied. There is a nice swimming pool and gardens. Large bathroom and comfortable bed. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a quiet retreat.

In the case of the room I stayed in, it was quite dark, although there were several good lamps. There might be a call for a bit more light.

Exceptional property and gardens! Very friendly hosts Mercy and Viviana. Meals cooked to order. They aim to please. They set up breakfast in the garden for us which was so wonderful. My son was very sick with travelers sickness for the 2 nights we stayed there and they accommodated all our requests for food for him and were super kind and helpful while he recovered. It helped to have a home and kitchen versus a hotel room when someone is that sick. Laundry is done on premises for a very reasonable rate. It is very a different experience staying in a lovely chalet with superb gardens. There are so many birds we saw and all the different bird calls we've never heard before.

Everything was awesome actulley staff Mercy manager, mercy chef, Dan owner and otger peole were amazing, we feel like our home, try it without any doubt Zahra

Breakfast was delicious and we sat in the gardens where the staff had laid a table for us. Swimming pool was great a real bonus.

all was fine thank you. We each had a bedroom that was very pleasant and bathrooms were ensuite and very nice.

Mercy and her team are real gems - so sweet, kind and attentive. We really felt at home! The house itself is beautifully decorated, offers comfortable facilities and has a characteristic charm. The neighborhood (Karen) is very green and safe. The garden was our favorite place - tropical paradise! Let’s not forget the food - we loved everything that was prepared for us.

We had some small issue with the hot water but it was addressed and alternatives were immediately offered.
