This is a bare bones motel, clean but spare. One ice machine for the whole bldg. Pleasant front desk clerks. TGI Friday's and a steak house share the parking lot. No pool.

I had 2 separate reservations and the front desk lady Sara accommodated me very well. I got to check in into my second room early so I wouldn’t have to bring all my stuff to the car or leave it with them which was very convenient. Overall I had a nice time at the Spark by Hilton.

Breakfast left a lot to be desired.

This budget hotel was a great place to stay with family. We were greeted and welcomed by Sara who was so informative and didn’t rush us out despite our many questions. We enjoyed the 24 hour beverage station, recommend adding hot chocolate as kids can enjoy. We found the room in good condition, comfortable and had sufficient towels for our sized family. We enjoyed our continental breakfast with a good choice of cereal, bagels, spreads, yogurt, milk and juices. It was not what we expected, but better!

The clerks were nice. But the toilets were way to low for my wife and I. Their were alot of fruit flies all over that made us feel itchy all the time. We would not return there.

There are not many options for breakfaat except bagels. Theu ahould have atleast breads etc

Excellent location for overnight stay during college drop-off. Very close to UofR River Campus and College Town. Also convenient to highways, Walmart and Target. Vanessa was very helpful at check-in and thereafter.

No coffeemaker or microwave the toilet was too Low to the ground. I was on the 4th floor took forever to gethot water for the shower. I

Everything is perfect, still you can work on the morning breakfast.

The hotel was Ok but the hall and bathrooms were very dated. The bathrooms were small and for some reason the toilets were really low- almost as though made for children. The breakfast was “meh” not much choice - just bagels and muffins. But the coffee was always hot. The dining area was quite small. I don’t think I would stay in this hotel again.

We were only there one night. The staff were friendly and helpful. With that said our room was not the cleanest hotel room I have stayed in, and the floors gave off a distinct odor-as if they were not cleaned or cleaned via the use of a dirty mop.

Pluses to this property. There’s restaurants nearby, TGI Fridays and Delmonico’s if you’re arriving late. The rooms were spacious with 2 large screen TVs per room, suite had an extra nook/room with a pull out couch for those who want to fall asleep with the TV on. Downside, the hotel really has an aged feel to it. Looks like an old property that was remodeled/repainted ( ala lipstick on a pig feel), definitely doesn’t hold up to the Hilton name. Configuration was strange. Laundry was on the 3rd floor (not the 1st like every other hotel), Ice makers were on the 1st and 4th floor, and the one on the first floor was broken so it was weird going to a floor I didn’t stay on to get ice. Also, the cost of Laundry was $2 in quarters, when I went to front desk/ manager for change, she informed me they were a cashless hotel, then why have quarters for the laundry, get a debit type system. Breakfast bar was slim compared to other Hilton properties, it definitely is the Motel 6 of the Hilton chain

The property renovated was fine, but they really need to update the toilets. They’re like very low and must be several gallons of water flushed and they plug easily. They renovated the hotel but they did not update the toilets.

Great hotel overall. Unfortunately, they only do room cleaning on every other day. They have a pretty basic continental breakfast but it is readily available and served well. Place is clean and nicely renovated.

The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. The room looked clean however it had an odor especially near the entrance inside the room - smelt like wet dirty clothes or wet dog. The bedroom in the suite also smelled damp.

Everything was done ‘on the cheap’. Boring breakfast, no clock, pen, note pad in room. Instead of individual shampoo and lotion bottles, industrial sized pump bottles. Nice staff.

The hotel put me as a no show on my hotels.com reservation and charged my card for the stay and won’t give me a refund. I lost $300. Then this month they charged me for another 2 night stay even though we never left Canada. They advertise a pool but they had a drowning and filled the pool in and made it a conference room. So there is no pool. They show palm trees out front of the hotel on the hotels.com search for this hotel. There is NO palm trees. They advertise continental breakfast but there is only bagels and yogurt. Not great for a diabetic which I am.

I paid extra and booked this trip with two queen bed as this was my girls wish! Unfortunately we got a King bed and not what we have requested for. I purposely paid extra for the two queen bed room so please refund me the difference!

Brand new so clean and in good condition. It is a “ urge” facility so bathrooms are small and no frills. But it is a clean, comfortable place to stay for a night or two.
