Check in was easy and the staff friendly. The room felt damp and smelled musty. Their was too much air freshener used in the hallways. The room seemed clean but because of the humidity in the room and the musty smell I didn't feel comfortable staying with my allergies.
They offered me another room but i have a feeling they all would have been similar. I decided to stay somewhere else.

1st clue-desk clerk behind glass. Room was very musky and smelled bad. Left and went to another hotel.

The air quality in the room was so humid and sticky!!!! The bed sheets and towels were very thin!!! The toilet was extremely low to the ground! There was dust on the lights by the bed. Was a looong night!!! Will not stay there again!!!

We checked in late. (At 11:30pm)
The girl that checked us in was not too friendly. I felt like we were an inconvenience to her. Just short with us.
Room was clean but EXTREAMLY humid, and a nasty mildew smell.

I was skeptical about booking here for two days. Once we did the easy on time checkin, went to room and did a lysol wipe down of everything in it, it was perfect for our short stay. Very quiet no roaches no nasty smells or towels. The older couple they have cleaning the rooms were so sweet and took our trash and gave me new towels without knocking and waking my daughter up. I saw them in the hallway after breakfast for an easy exchange. The only thing i would add is some protein for breakfast. Great stay would definitely book here again.

This was all ABSOLUTE horrible hotel. When I went up to the room and opened this door the feeling of wetness came over me. The smell was horrifying and everything was damp. You could tell there was mold and mildew in the room. Me and my daughter have asthma and it was horrible. When I went to the front desk and let the employee know he said he could give me a spray to use our change my room. Went to another room and it was the EXACT same thing. It was horrible and disgusting. This hotel needs renovations too happen fast or they will have a lawsuit on their hands. There were about 4 famous including myself that left due to the same thing! Not good quality inn! Not good!

Location was convenient. It appeared to be in a safe, well-lit location. The room appeared to have mildew growing on the ceiling. There was a strong musty odor that was persistent throughout the stay. It seemed to be coming from the air conditioning, but was noticeable even when it wasn’t running. The staff were friendly, but they ran out of most of the breakfast items an hour before it was over and we were told they had no way to restock that morning.

The hotel was easy to find right off highway. Plus was only a 20min drive to port of Galveston. The check in was easy and they offered $1 bottle water at desk.
However!!!!!
The hot tub was broken. The rooms appeared clean but smelled musky. Breakfast was just fruit cereals and breads. No hot foods. We ate at Waffle House just down the street. If you are on a budget and can’t afford a 5 star hotel I would recommend, otherwise keep looking.
