We had a great time staying here. It was clean, there were freebies like teas, coffee, shampoo and conditioner.. There towels and blow dryer as well and water heater. There were nice and accommodating I highly recommend it.. Also, they allowed us to leave out luggages for awhile after our check out time to enjoy the rest of the day.

Edinburgh is a relatively expensive city for accommodation, so I assume Blossom Guest House is in line with its cost. There was no breakfast. The room (family) was provided free, when I had booked an ordinary double room. My only negative concerns the provision of a small table and one chair, which was awkward for dining. The hosts were friendly, but I was surprised to be told shortly before checkout that the time to leave was between 10am to 11am.

Friendly staff, clean and confy room, quiet neighbourhood at a walking distance from the center.It was such a pleasant stay for us, we’ll surely go back there another time.

The location was good, about 15 min to the city centre. Also free parking was a great plus. Unfortunately the room was very small for two and a bit outdated. We booked our room with private bathroom, but realised it was on the corridor and must be locked every time with the house key. There’s no AC and it can get really hot during the night. Opening the window helps but there’s quite busy traffic road and thus noicy. Nice restaurants nearby!

Vrry nice staff. Close to bus stop that gets one anywhere. Slept well each night. Room was not large and does not have a set of drawers for clothes

30 minutes walk to Royal Mile street downtown and close to restaurant and pubs

The man that checked me in was very nice. The guest house was not too far from city centre, and I walked there every day. The room itself was clean and nice, but in the bathroom there was a lot of hair in the shower drain, so much that the water drained slowly. The pressure in the shower itself was also quite weak.

Host's were friendly but room wasnt cleaned/ replenished one day. Room was tiny and bathroom was even tinier would struggle if i was any larger. Guy in next room kept me awake every night coughing his guts up 24/7 could hear through walls. Other guest houses are doing breakfast but this place isnt- very dissapointing

Very clean guest house with lovely owner. Made to feel very welcome. The accommodation was relatively simple but what you would expect for the price. A few difficulties with the parking situation - there is not really enough space for all the cars. Also, the 'continental breakfast' was a little disappointing, though this may just be due to limitations of Covid.

Room was fine and on-site car parking very useful, but substitute continental breakfast - apparently due to Covid-19 restrictions was very disappointing.

Booked the hotel due to the proximity to central Edinburgh. Staff was kind and receptive, very service-willing which is great! Price-to-quality ratio was what you would expect with an older house but suited our needs perfectly as we would spend most of our time in town. Cleanliness was superb, the room was cleaned every room with good detail and didn’t take any liberties with what was ours. Only downside was the cramped lounge/breakfast area that served sugary products almost exclusively as breakfast. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay!

A lovely family-run guest house with comfy rooms and all the amenities. We particularly appreciated the breakfast selection and how friendly our hosts were! Great location too, in the heart of Edinburgh. We couldn't have asked for better for the low price
