mon-fri break, easy check in, easy parking. we were on the top floor with a sea view, what a view of llandudno! well worth the climb up the stairs! the room/bathroom was clean, the bed was very hard, 2 single mattress pushed together making a double which didn't bother us.plenty of tea bags(pg tips) and coffee, milk, sugar. lots of drawers etc. breakfast was more than adequate with a good variety to choose from. cooked breakfast was very nice and a sausage for the dog! very good location its basically in happy valley! we had the famous great orme goats outside our window along with foxes and squirrels! all in all a brilliant short break we will definitely be going back to headlands. bear in mind this is not a 5star hotel that offers 5star services! if you want that view there is no lift! its a old victorian building with old decor! but its warm and welcoming! roll on next october!! well done headlands hotel!

I love the break 4poster bed was lovely surprise breakfast was great start to the morning

Lovely victoriana property, love the olddy worldly feel but that comes with dusty broken chandeliers, doors and creaky floors but all in all a lovely lovely hotel and getting room 27 with our own private terrace was a bonus.
Breakfast was plenty and nice, all in all a thoroughly pleasant hotel.

Perfect position overlooking Llandudno. Breakfast spot on. Spacious family room with great views. Lots of character inside the hotel.

We had a nice one night short stay at this hotel, which was within walking distance of the town and promenade.
Our bedroom was adequate, but rather small, as was the bathroom. It was clean, with just about enough storage space for clothes and the like.
A lovely full English breakfast was served with a nice smile the following morning.
For those who are a little unsteady on their legs, be prepared for a fairly steep, on road, and hotel drive accent to the hotel.
All in all we thought the hotel was ok, but for us, only for a short stay.

Location is good, nice breakfast bar open late, hotel is dated an creaky, but would stay again nice, friendly staff also.

The hotel was ok . I feel it does need some work doing on it . It could be a bit cleaner aswell
5.0
The staff were so friendly they went above and beyond a must place to stay a bit awkward if you are a bit bad on your feet but if you can bear the hills it’s just a brilliant place to stay
5.0
Parking is an issue in the area but the hotel offers various solutions with its available parking. Unfortunately sometimes other guests block you in.

Lovely clean comfortable hotel very friendly staff, dog friendly , amazing views, will stay again soon especially for the breakfast.

Lovely stay with a fabulous breakfast. A lovely old house with lots of character.

A warm welcome and friendly staff. Excellent views, and convenient for the town and local attractions.
4.0
Lovely location beautiful views nice breakfast warning! Only able bodied people as no lift and stairs and hotel on a steep hill.would have rated 5 stars but the mattress was badly worn in twin room and dipped in the middle so felt like you rolled into it which effected a good nights sleep. The property is dated so if that’s not your thing you might be better off with the Premier inn

We really enjoyed our overnight stay here and will revisit.
A charming old fashioned hotel in a great location with lovely views over the town and sea.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Headlands for his Birthday. The room had wonderful views of the sea. Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was great, staff lovely.
Will definitely return.

I really enjoyed my stay here and would be happy to stay again. The staff were great from check in to check out - a big thank you. You can tell everyone works really hard. The room was spotless, and I loved the sea view - definitely worth paying for. The hotel is full of character, and the breakfast was brilliant and set me up for the day. I also liked my room came with a bath which was a treat.

I was informed that there was limited hotel parking but I didn't expect a total of 4 spaces where you either blocked in other vehicles or were blocked in yourself.
Dark interior, broken tiles, stained mirrors and dirty windows marred what could otherwise have been a splendid hotel in its day.

A nice hotel in a beautiful location. Friendly and efficient staff. The property could do with being updated

Lovely Hotel with great character. Our room had stunning views over the town & the bay, the room was very clean if being picky the shower pressure wasn't great but good enough & the bedroom window rattled when it was windy but was easily fixed with a bit of cardboard both of these things aren't surprising though with a property of this age though. Service throughout our stay was excellent & nothing was too much trouble & the breakfast was absolutely fantastic with a great choice of cereals, fresh fruit, nuts, croissants, meats & cheese plus a full English breakfast. We were entertained in the evening by the Kashmiri Goats that roam around the Great Orme.

The hotel is quite dated, the furniture is very old and definitely seen better days. The breakfast choices are extensive from full English to continental. There is no lift, so we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill, and parking is on the road side opposite the hotel. The views from the hotel are magnificent. The hotel are friendly and helpful.

Great location, friendly staff, nice breakfast and easy parking.
Some things are in need of replacing. Like the kettle, some mirrors and beds bases. Its is on a hill, didn't bother us but if you find it hard to walk may struggle.

Although the property is old, it was comfortable. It is however at the top of a hill. You do need to be fit if not using your car, it can be tiring at the end of the day scaling the heights.

We have visited Llandudno regularly and decided to stay at the Headlands which has fantastic views. Although dated we found overall that the premises was nice and had tremendous views. One problem we found was the plumbing was noisy but this could be due to the rooms being very close
2.5
Lovely hotel with lots of character. Room was really big, very clean and had a fabulous view of the bay. It was our third stay here and we will come again.

Llandudno is a lovely town and we visited in March for a weekend break
Unfortunately our room (32) was disappointing. The shower did not work properly and barely had any pressure or temperature control, the hot tap on the bathroom basin was loose and looking out of the window the fantastic views were rather spoiled by cigarette ends and an old discarded towel on the window balcony.
The breakfast was nice and the views from the dining area were lovely.
The on site car parking is limited and we found ourselves blocked in by another vehicle. I would recommend parking nearby on the road.
The hotel is a lovely old building and has character but our room definitely needed some tlc.

It was old worldy excellent.

Hotel was nice the sea view room was accessed by 5 flights of steps which were steep . Rooms definitely need updating and the interlinked beds one side good the other definitely needed replacing as I was certainly at lot more comfortable than him .

We stayed as a couple with a small dog. We found the hotel to be very clean although a bit dated (but this matched the style of the hotel). The breakfast was lovely with a very wide choice of cereals, meats and cheeses and a full English. The hotel is a short walk down some winding steps to the pier and there is a bit of a hill walking back up but not a problem for us. We on the cul-de-sac outside the hotel - this may get busy during peak season. The only gripe I had was that the heating in the room was on full blast throughout the night and it was far too hot. I tried to turn the radiator down but it didn't seem to do anything. The heating went off in the morning(!) so it may be that the timing was set up wrong. Despite this, I would definitely stay here again (but mention the heating first).

We were very fortunate to get a room with a sea view, which was amazing, being able to look out of the window upon Llandudno beach. The room was nicely decorated, well presented, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom was satisfactory, if maybe a little small. But the shower system more than made up for it.
At breakfast, a superb range of options were available, including a good selection of fruit, cereals and porridge, toast, pastries and the good old full English, which was well prepared and very tasty. A coffee machine provided a choice of hot beverages, but there was also juice on offer.
The bar, which we did make use of on a couple of occasions during our stay, was very well stocked with beer, wine, spirits and snacks. Prices were very reasonable.
Now, I have to give credit to Alex the manager, who was very attentive to us during our stay and genuinely could not do enough for you. If he wasn't manning reception, he was in the bar. If he wasn't serving breakfast, he was cleaning rooms. This man's endless talents had no limits. But most of all, you didn't feel like he was a host, you felt he was a friend. Such an amazing hard working guy and a real credit to this business.
My only criticism is the parking could be problematic but again Alex was quick to resolve the issue.

The Headlands Hotel was a lovely place to stay in Llandudno , the staff was very friendly, lovely breakfast comfy clean room. The only negative thing would be it would be hard for less mobile people because of the hill up to the hotel.
4.0
Could do with a little updating and parking a bit difficult as not many spaces and the road got full quickly.
Extremely clean and breakfast amazing.
