Large hotel with excellent parking. Room and bed were comfortable with everything we needed. Location was ok - a little difficult to get to first day due to lots of traffic. But it’s not far from downtown. Breakfast was very good - best we had in Ireland!

Hotel was excellent value for money, our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good on-site parking.

We chose this hotel due to how close it was to downtown Galway. It was just ok, some pros and cons. Biggest con is the lack of AC. Also the layout/design is quite odd. When you get to your rooms it is SO dark. Like it genuinely looks like a horror movie. The actual room was ok. A big pro is the restaurant within; the food was delicious!

Good clean friendly hotel, a little way out of town, but still walkable.

Good location. Easy parking. Beautiful facility with lots of spaces to sit and chat. Staff is very welcoming. Breakfast was very good with lots of hot and cold choices. Our room was lovely and very clean. The only negative was the lighting. The hotel is extremely eco friendly to the point that the lighting is sparse and very low. If I had been a woman traveling alone, I would not have liked being in the hallways especially at night. During the day there are windows that help, but at night it is extremely dark. On the plus side, the elevator broke and the staff was very reactive. It was fixed within 30 minutes. Best response I’ve ever seen at a hotel over an issue.

Great place to stay. We were looking for somewhere a little closer to town but nothing available….. Then saw Nox Hotel was available just up the road a little…. We just missed the bus in to town so ended up walking and it wasn’t far anyways. Super easy Parking, nice room, yummy Breakfast. Staff were very friendly, and we had a very nice dinner in the restaurant the 2nd night :) Would recommend

Overall, a good standard hotel with fantastic Staff, but the color deco in the corridors makes everything very dark and dull. Lighting in the bathroom very bad. We did not think that the hotel offered good value for money.

We did not have a very nice stay at this property. Our first room had a strong smell of smoke, and while the staff was very apologetic and genuinely so, the only option was the accessible room, which did not really suit or needs. Moreover, the facility was generally just a bit run-down. Breakfast was OK, but the staff seemed a bit over-worked on this holiday weekend. I would consider other options before I stayed here again.

Carpet in room was stained and bathroom tile was cracked and shower pan looked old and worn. Not worth the price paid.

My recent stay at Nox hotel left much to be desired. Despite the initial allure of the hotel's amenities and location, the actual experience fell short in several significant areas. First and foremost, the double bed in my room had a mattress topper that was not only placed upside-down, with the zipper on top, but it was also not secured to the mattress. This resulted in the topper sliding around during the night, leading to a very uncomfortable sleep. The second single bed was even worse, with a mattress that was noticeably saggy in the middle and offered little support. The state of cleanliness in the room was concerning. The window surround was covered in dense cobwebs, had spots of what appeared to be mould, and was layered with grime. The bathroom, too, had its issues. There was no extractor fan, so after showering, the steam and humidity lingered unpleasantly. Additionally, the ceiling tiles in the shower had not been cleaned thoroughly, further detracting from the overall hygiene. The in-room temperature control was ineffective, making it impossible to adjust the room to a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was another disappointment. While it was a buffet, the quality and availability of food were subpar. On the first day, I was served undercooked white pudding. The second day's breakfast was even worse, with many items running out and not being replenished. Overall, my stay at Nox hotel was far from satisfactory. The combination of poor

The rooms are clean and well appointed but the lighting in the hallway is very dim. Only one small elevator made for occasionally long waits.

Was accessible to the city center on the bus which was appreciated!

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and modern hotel which seemed to specialize in business travellers but we enjoyed it as a couple as well. Large comfortable rooms, great service, and good breakfast options. About a 20 minute walk from downtown. Markets and pharmacy close by.

A total ripped off, 300€ a night with a horrible breakfast that a had to queue for 10 min to be able to grab something. Never again is not compatible the amount of money with what you get.

Everything about this place was very good

Hotel and staff were great but beds not that comfortable. Our group had a total of 5 rooms and while the weather was cool for summer some of the group advised there were no fans in their rooms and no air conditioning. Otherwise hotel is nice.

Everything was wonderful. Customers slammed there room doors frequently which would wake you up. A portable fan for noise would be nice.

The hotel is located behind a car sales plot, not very inviting. The shower area was peeling, and the rooms did not have usb plugs, when asked if I could borrow a plug, I was told I could buy one. That does feel customer friendly. The staff were pleasant but staff pushed past me to get into the lift. I acknowledge that the weather has been warmer than usual but with no AC then room was too hot. I don't like leaving this kind of review but I would not chose to stay at The Nox again.

We stayed last night in your hotel beautiful hotel amazing food. I would like to complement the reception staff Adam and Lesley beautiful friendly people. Also the restaurant where we had dinner last night and breakfast this morning food delicious and staff so friendly. We definitely be back soon.

Room was adequate, hills were painted very dark and not well lit. Water pressure was not much. Only 1 option for dinner , room was musty smelling

The one thing i didnt like about the hotel was how dark the corridors are. But thats just a personal preference and douesnt detract from the hotel's performance

We had a really enjoyable stay, rooms were comfortable and very clean.

We liked the small park and walking trail outside the Hotel and the Staff was super friendly.

2 nights in Galway. Staff were very accommodating allowing us to check in early. Much appreciated. Free car park was a bonus. Great location to major roads in and out of Galway. We drove into city centre not sure about public transport from this location. Would not walk in. Room was spacious. Breakfast was lovely and adequate. Our only complaint would be the lighting in the hallways, very dark. Would be an issue if you had poor vision. You had to be very mindful of this when exiting the lifts. Not sure how the cleaners can vacuum the hallways in such bad lighting. Otherwise lovely stay.
