We didnt stay as the room my son was in had mold and he is asthmatic. They told me my son couldnt drink even though im his mother. We had a bottle of vodka as a wedding gift and they said we couldnt have it on the table even though it was unopen. We couldnt play pool even though we were hotel guests. We was told we couldnt sit in the bar area as we had a 12year old even though it was a prrivate function. Its like they where stalking us and it was quite upsetting and really spoilt us trying to celebrate our friends wedding. We just decided to leave as we felt really uncomfortable and like being watched all the time we was there. Very dissapointed and definitely wont go here again. Yes we lost our money but i just wanted to leave very very sad and management just laughed when we explained the situation very unprofessional indeed.

Enjoyed our overnight stay here, only one night but the staff were excellent and the food was outstanding, very clean room and a power shower was a welcome addition as well as the big screen TV darts & pool table,

I chose to pay a few pounds extra for my room and had a very large, comfortable room with a four-poster bed, I also had an en-suite with shower and bath. All the staff were helpful. including the night porter who took my keys when I left at five o'clock in the morning. The food was good and good value. I was informed that I had been given the bridal sweet but apparently the upgrade I paid for did not include a bride.

After a slight issue at check in which was quickly resolved by the very helpful and amusing Gareth, my daughter and I had a very pleasant stay at Millfields. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room and facilities were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, and the coffee was excellent.

When arriving at a hotel I expect to be checked in without having to listen to the employee complain that she should have gone home 30 minutes ago! The entire check-in process was less than satisfactory but we did get the key to our room and things started to improve.
The young man behind the bar was very friendly and efficient and a much better representative for the hotel.

10 out of 10 for friendly and helpful staff. The fabric of the hotel needs a little bit of TLC. But it was clean and comfortable and the food well cooked.

We have accommodated late night, where room is freezing with no heating option to turn on, no hot water as well, no spare towel, which will be nice to have as booked for two.
In superior room the queen bed, not much spacious and not either comfortable. Not working lights and damaged bathroom. Anyway, we have a heating back early morning, as well as hot water.
A bit basic, but in good location and parking on site.

It is a lovely okd building and the staff are more than helpful, but it needs some paint and carpet, and the room was I stayed in was cold

Last minute booking to visit my son staff were very polite and helpful especially Jamie, room was clean and very comfortable. A little dated in parts and a refresh would be beneficial but overall a great hotel.

I stayed for 2 nights and the staff at the hotel were amazing and helpful. Very friendly and enjoyed the hospitality. Room and the bed was big and quiet enough so overall a good choice if you are looking for a room in the area.

The food and service were excellent, everyone from check-in to bar staff was friendly and pleased to help or serve whenever asked. The room was a little dated but had all the amenities required for our stay. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller or visitor to the area.

I stayed in the Coach House and nice room with a comfy bed. Only downside was having to walk to the main building to use the gym, as it’s not very well lit down the side to the Coach House. Not very far at all though.

Easy to find, lovely reception staff who were very helpful and friendly. Amazed by the squash courts and pleasantly surprised by the size of the gym. Didn’t use the restaurant or bar but seemed popular. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful service from all the staff, but especially Jamie and the young student on reception on Friday night. They were so friendly and helpful - really went above and beyond. First class breakfast and a nice bar area, with a very good range of drinks. My bed was very comfortable and there was free Wi-Fi. I will definitely return and 100% recommend this hotel.

I stayed 1 night . It was a nice hotel, I did not eat in the hotel as I already had plans.
The room was a good size,clean,a little dated though. The bathroom was very good size and more modern than the sleeping area. While there was a window to open(it was a bit fiddly to close) it would have been nice to have air conditioning.
Staff were friendly. Overall a nice stay.

Hotel was clean ad tidy generally and our bedroom with ensuite was very comfortable.

Last time I stayed here it was great. This time I was put in an outside building at the back of the hotel (not great as a lone female traveller) The room was very dated with lots of small issues (blind wouldn't close/ shower wouldn't work properly/ light bulb needed changing etc. Lots of passage due to the location of the room (car lights and noise)
Bed wasn't made properly and linen not brilliant
I did advise the hotel and was advised this would all be passed on?
