Not like the pictures unfortunately, it’s a run down motel and overpriced.. aircon didn’t work. It’s anlso an unsafe area and no secure parking.. people drinking and walking around at 10pm when we walked our dogs and 4am.. assuming they’re about all night.

The only not so good thing is they don't have WiFi, the room is small but how much room do you need to sleep. Very clean and air conditioning was cold, good night sleep, will stay again.

Best place to stay at in Gladstone customer service was great !!! Very clean !! Shower was great and hot bed was like staying in the Hilton

Firstly the on site manager was amazing. Her customer service was exceptional and her demeanour.
The motel itself is terrible. The pool is green and mouldy. It seems people live there. My neighbours were swearing and arguing.
My first room was like something out of a horror movie. There was no aircon. Extension cords running all over the place. No cover on the ironing board. And so forth.
I was given a different room because of the air conditioning not working.
The next room was better but still very trashy. The curtains didn’t hang up properly and offer any privacy as all the hooks were broken.
The kitchen blind had layers of dust and food on it.
The pool was unusable. And there were no wifi even though I believe ( I could be wrong) it was advertised.
It seems people from very low socioeconomic status reside there permanently and their were children crying and couples arguing and swearing.
Expedia I believe that you need to verify these properties more thoroughly. This is my second time booking through Expedia and both times I have not been impressed. But this time was dreadful in relation to amenities and the environment.
Again the on-site management was absolutely spectacular and her problem solving skills and hospitality was impeccable. The property itself though I’m sorry it’s just trash

No one ever at reception paid extra for the spa bath and I wouldn’t wash my dog in there it was manky as !!

I really enjoyed my stay. I needed somewhere to stay overnight on my journey from Cairns to Brisbane where I could have a relaxing evening, hot shower and comfortable sleep and I so appreciated being able to have my little dog with me. South Gladstone Motel ticked all the boxes for me.

The room i was in is two small doesnt have a kitchen sink to do dishes so had to use bathroom sink..
The light from out the back came into the room and kept us awake most of the night.
And the hot water needs attention.

Well what did i Like,i can honest say i was touch from the moment i arrived i have not been well for a while Battling Serious Illness the Loverly Couple here made me feel l like i stll was someone and they were taking care of there Dad.
Although this is a Beautiful place you can see it has much Potential and im sure they will do Amazing Stuff and i also had the best Sleep that ive had for i dont know how long,ive just stayed at a Flash well know Resort on the Gold Coast and i slept here Better so i would Highly recommend a stay here As I will be back even though I only live less than a 100 k's As I will be back even though I only live less than a 100 k's away,

The area the motel was in, easy to find. The service was great. The Villa was big effort for 3 Adults and 1 Children. The gardens need a little work.

Upon arrival of our 4 night stay with my 3 children , our accommodation dates were incorrect , I had already payed the full amount 4 weeks prior to this. First night other guests had a party which was very loud, swearing was heard, we all had no.slerp, my kids didnt feel safe to stay. Tv in bedroom didnt wirk took 1 day to get it fixed, wifi password didnt work on first day.

The room was a good size cabin, the lady was friendly on arrival.
In the cabin though we found a bag full of takeaway food, shoved in microwave, first sign the cabin wasn’t cleaned properly.
The bathrooms weren’t clean, there was only a 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper for 5 people. The information book was so sticky.
Beds were very hard and no spare pillows of blankets.

The motel had no record and no room for us at the motel. They had to send us to a sister motel 5 minutes away. Disappointing. The second place what not nice . They gave us a blanket that smelt like dogs. Was going to go somewhere else nicer but we had already paid and would be a pain to try to get our money back. So thanks for the stuff up wotif. !!!!!

I was told at booking there was under cover parking. It was shade cloth. Carpet in room was old and stained. There was no manager on site when a violent fight broke out outside of my room. I had to ring 000. It appears that these are being let out as long term accommodation. It is not a tourist stop. The manager did reimburse me for my room because of the incident.

The management was not there when I wanted to check in. Had to go to office a number of times to pay. And the sheets on the sofa bed where dirty and looked like the bed was just closed up and not changed in quiet a while. And we found used tooth brushes on the window sill.

Poor check in experience. Room had glass missing and mosquitoes. Other Guests kept us up until after 5am(on a Monday night).

The unit was clean but aged. Photo on the website were misleading. The bathroom was cramped. Minimal tableware and furnishings.

Both the rooms we were offered were nothing like those listed on hotels.com nor the properties website. We only stayed one night of a 10 night booking. I could not recommend this property. To top it all off we are still waiting for a refund 10 days later.

Great place. We stayed in one of the older units which are ok but not fantastic. The newer ones are likely much better. Air conditioning worked but one unit needed repairs to work properly - remote didn’t work.

The room was tiny - so much so that I tripped into the bed frame every time I walked through the front door. The previous guest's half used softdrink was left in the fridge and the blanket on the bed looked like it hadn't been washed. Bad smell throughout. Shower tiny and toilet so close to shower that I had to sit on it sideways. Family of four arrived next door at 9pm and didn't stop yelling until 2am. Bed comfy, aircon nice, that's about it. Left a note but never heard anything back.

The Sleep Factory hosted 4 of my team in a range of 1 bed, 2 bed and studio accomodation. All 3 rooms were perfect in both cleanliness and facilities. We won’t hesitate in booking here next time we are in town.
