Absolutely loved our stay here. Wonderful staff who accommodated all of our needs and it’s a peaceful location not too far from the centre. Very chic hotel, incredible rooms and felt like a home from home. Stylish, clean, cosy. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely come back when next in Porto.

Everything! This boutique hotel is a gem! Staff friendly and helpful, rooms spacious and well equipped, bed is super comfy. The breakfast is delicious 😋 with a lot of choices, the pool area , the gym is really nice, the spa is small but has it all and the massage was just perfect 👌 Litterally 400m from the beach and restaurants- I recommend 100% !

Nothing ! We do have some recommendations: Massage area should have own room instead of space in the gym. And a shelve for own beauty products next to the sink in the room would be appreciated : If they fall from the border of the glass sink to the tiled floor, they could easily break...

The hotel, garden & pool area were all decorated very tastefully. A delicious and varied selection for breakfast often resulting in no lunch needed! The bed was comfy and we loved that our mini-bar was included and replaced daily. We also made use of the electric bikes free of charge which was an added bonus.

Booking.com said laundry services for an additional fee was available but this wasn't the case. However there are some launderettes nearby.

Great breakfast. Luxurious, clean rooms. Great pool area, gym and sauna facilities. Fantastic location 1 minute walk from the beach, and very easy to get into the city centre. Extra pool towels. Huge comfortable bed. Big TV with good selection of channels. Coffee/tea, facilities in room with mini fridge (free snacks!). Honesty bar. And above all staff were welcoming and gracious.

Really helpful friendly staff. Great breakfast. Nice swimming pool. Room and bathroom were excellent - comfortable, spacious and luxurious. Location was perfect for our holiday (combining visiting Porto and local beaches).

Excellent boutique hotel, located in a nice leafy suburb, extremely clean with very friendly and accommodating staff. It's further away from all the hustle and bustle, which makes it the perfect spot for a nice, relaxing get-away. A stone away from the fish neighbourhood Matosinhos (amazing sea food). All in all, we had an amazing stay and I would definitely come back.

Amazingly decorated house and delicious extravagant breakfast just 2 blocks away from the beach! The staff was very helpful and reserved a parking spot for us. The location was excellent and we enjoyed jogging by the beach.

The room was a bit small and the setup of the shower and bathroom was not very practical. I found it a bit overpriced for the size of the room.

Brand new and beautiful house in the charming district of Foz do Douro. Restaurants and beach bars within walking distance. Good bus connections to the old town. Exceptionally good and cordial service.

It is difficult to describe how perfect our stay here was. We felt like we had won a prize! The staff were so attentive, particularly Katerina who checked us in, Iryna at breakfast who came in early to make sure we could eat before checking out and the fabulous Anne with her warm manner and excellent recommendations. A special mention must be given to the breakfast - so delicious and fresh and the perfect way to start each day. Our room was beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated - just like the rest of the hotel - and the pool was a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We loved taking the tram into town, and the short walk down to the beach (especially the beach bar!) We are so glad to have chosen Foz Do Douro and Casa Da Marechal for our short stay in Porto and will certainly be returning. Thank you to all of the staff who made our stay so special!

This hotel is beautifully furnished and every detail has been carefully thought out for the comfort of the traveler. The hotel is in an established private neighborhood setting with street parking in front of hotel. There is an honor bar with a nice sitting room to relax in as well as an intimate eating area for the delicious and fresh breakfast served at your requested time. The room we stayed in took up the entire 3rd floor and was decorated in cream, beige, and white for a fresh and relaxing palette. The double shower was a nice treat as were the large double sinks. There is a lift/elevator to the room as well as stairs. The room also had skylights and a private balcony.

There really wasn’t anything to dislike.

Room was perfect. Good breakfast. Pool area just delightful and hotel very peaceful. Hotel away from main city area but near enough to commute in.

Very pretty boutique hotel, tastefully decorated, with friendly staff. Located in a leafy suburb of Porto by the (rough) sea, and not in the overcrowded center. The breakfast is great, the pool looks good although we could not use it as it was not ready.

Extremely close to the beach . Great large shower. Bed was very comfortable . Breakfast was a lot of food and delicious ! Staff was very professional and spoke English also.

Excellent location, very close to the sea. The staff is friendly and the room was very nice and spotless clean. The breakfast was excellent. 10/10 we'll come back.
