This property and the owners exceeded expectations. It is a hidden gem. Not only is there a pool, but also a mini put-put golf course - what!?! We were traveling back from the outter banks and stayed one night in Portsmouth. I have a sister that lives nearby. It was a perfect gathering place - lots for the kids to do outside. The house was beautiful, extra surprise amenities provided: coffee, filters, creamer - snacks, toothbrushes - on and on. We arrived on a super hot summer day, the upstairs loft was hot, the owner went and purchased a fan - immediately to cool it off. We had 3 boys sleeping up there - that ended up getting cold on a 100 degree day. They went above and beyond in every way. Thanks for the stay. We will be back the next time we visit my sister.

We was very happy with this property, very clean and very responsive communication with owner. Was sweet to leave things on the table for the furbaby we thought that was a very nice and sweet touch. We will definitely be back again when in the area

Very clean and spacious home, well stocked with amenities, very close to restaurants and shopping, the pool and hot tub were awesome! It was only 30 minutes away from beautiful beaches too! The property host, Kimmy, is very responsive and made sure to answer all of my questions before booking, thank you! The listing states that guests will “have privacy during their stay and will not have to interact with the owner” and the owner “will have their own private access to their area of the house that is completely separate from where guests will be”. I think the online listing needs to be adjusted so that future guests are aware that this is not 100% accurate. If you spend a lot of your time enjoying the backyard, you will see/interact with the owner. The entrance to the owner’s extension is located next to the pool, on the patio area. We briefly interacted with the owner everyday, a couple times a day. There were 2 occasions where the owner was taking photos of the backyard for quite a while. When we came outside to sit on the side patio at night, he continued taking photos and did not go inside to give us privacy. If guests are spending money to rent the space, then the owner should respect their privacy. With that being said, he is nice and quiet. The king bed needs to be replaced. Both sides of the bed are sunken in and we woke up with back pain every morning. Overall, we had a great time but we would not stay at this home again in the future.

We had a great time at this property. It is conveniently located to great food and activities. The property was clean and had so many little extras. Bathrooms had baskets filled with personal items like new toothbrushes and face-wash wipes. Mark, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
