Home from home. Spotless clean and well prepared for us. Fire laid😀for our arrival. Even baking supplies, ( not that I wanted to on holiday) very comfortable house in great location with great views across the sea to Skye. If I could sing I would have 😀 Raasay beautiful, remote but easily accessible to Skye. Everyone we met friendly Owner of property kept in touch not that we were in any need of anything. Just perfect

This is our second stay here and loved it as much as the first time. A great place to launch or Raasay adventures from or just sit and watch the ever changing light on the bay and mountains of Skye. The only thing we lacked was a coffee press (I guess we must have brought one the first time), so if you need coffee as much as my husband, bring one with you and you'll lack for nothing.

Fantastic location for a family gathering. This house is ideally located close to the centre of the village with spectacular views across the water. It has everything you would need as a home from home.

A wonderful spacious cosy house for all the family. A perfect well located and equipped base to explore the beautiful island of Raasay. Lovely coming back to the fire and freesat tv after a day’s walking.

This was a wonderful home with a fabulous view. We loved the quiet and the warm fire. Since there is only one place to eat out on the island, we greatly appreciated the well appointed kitchen. Very lovely owner who even checked in with us part way through the stay to make sure all was well. We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit.

One week in a perfect equiped holiday home, in a peaceful community, far away from hectic and just a short ferry trip away from the fantastic scenery of Skye - that was a relaxing holiday.

Wonderful stay in this very comfortable and spacious family home. The property is very well equipped and is conveniently located, only a 5 minute walk away from the community run shop and beach bay. The view from the front of the property is absolutely beautiful. We were very appreciative of the welcome note and bottle of wine left to us by the owners.

The house was the perfect location. Close to the shore, shop, hotel, distillery, walks and activities. House was clean well equipped, a good sized garden, friendly and helpful neighbors. Beautiful views from the house. Raasay is a real gem of an island. Not to be missed.

Beautiful house, exactly as advertised. Very comfortable beds, lots of space in house and garden. WiFi is a plus for teenagers! Interesting island to explore and also visited Skye. Never had the TV on all week!

Lovely family house with a stunning view across to the Red Cuillins on Skye. Raasay is quiet and friendly, there are many excellent walks and the shop, distillery and Larch Box kept us supplied. Thank you Lila for great communication through the changing times.

This is spacious, comfortable family home which was ideal for four friends liking their own beds! We absolutely loved the house - it couldn't be better. The owner is very friendly and attentive. Getting to know Raasay was a delight even, or maybe especially, in a time of corona virus.

Another wonderful stay in this very clean and comfortable house which is very well equipped. The whole experience from booking our week to checking out was very straightforward (despite Covid restrictions) and the owner was very responsive to any queries prior to our arrival and during our stay.

This property is fantastic - lots of room, superb views, great location and a very homely feel which we really appreciate. We have stayed twice already and won’t hesitate to be back in the future. The owners were great at communicating throughout our booking and we were well catered for.

This is a fantastic house, in a wonderful location with amazing views! The house had everything we needed. Lovely enclosed garden which was great for our dog. Lila provided us with some very useful information and was on hand if we needed anything. Just a short walk to the distillery (15 minutes) and just past that is Raasay House (a further 5 minutes). We ate in Raasay house and had a lovely meal and dogs are allowed inside. From the house we saw Otters in the bay and White Tailed Sea Eagles to the right above a wooded area. We also saw Otters just a short walk from the house - left and then just past the jetty. We really do hope to return soon to this wonderful house. Thank you to Lila and family for letting us stay.

A lovely homely house with views to die for

We hadn’t been to Raasay before and were attracted by its location and remoteness, we weren’t disappointed! The house is spacious, clean, has everything you need and the views from the lounge and two if the four bedrooms are stunning. There’s a lovely garden surrounding the house, with wild rabbits galore and the occasional sheep wonder past. A perfect house and location to unwind and remember what life is all about. Communication with the owner was great and she was very helpful, before, during and after our holiday. If you are looking for a holiday escape on a beautiful island I would highly recommend this house on Raasay.
