Location was great! WiFi was non existent, did not work. We tried calling the front desk multiple times for various questions and they never answered.

Our first time in Hawaii and this hotel had the most convenient location. The beach was literally across the street. All staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. We already are making plans to return in the summer with our 2 kids and have booked this hotel again.

We were in an Oceanfront room on the 11th floor. The room was very comfortable and well laid out. The bathroom was a bit tight, but certainly manageable. We spent a week at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed hanging out at the pool for reading, beverages and sunsets. Glorious sunset right over the pool each night! Servers at the pool were very friendly, efficient.

Nice hotel but not a five star resort. Probably around four star with five star pricing. We used the Longboard club throughout our stay. The staff in there were great (especially Anson) but they served the same breakfast and evening snacks every day! Really repetitive and uninspiring and definitely not making it worth the money. Only other downside was there was only one pool and outdoor area on the fifth floor which was great - but they kicked you out when they rented the same area out to private events. Same with the Longboard club. Very greedy to charge you to use areas and then make them unavailable so they can charge again for corporate events!

Parking sucks. When you pay a lot of money to stay you should have a leasy free parking or a discount for staying there. Over all great hotel.

Our family reserved 2 rooms at the Waikiki' Alohilani Resort for 14 days after abruptly leaving a VRBO that was not suitable. The Alohilani is perfect. It is situated just steps away from Waikiki Beach and nestled among coffee shops, retail, and ice cream places. The hotel staff is polite and helpful. The property is beautiful. We took advantage of the daily breakfast buffet for the extra cost and we loved it. The meal choices were different everyday. I will always choose the Alohilani. If you’re a mom looking for a suitable place for your family to stay while in Hawaii, this is it.

Decent property, don’t think it should be a 5 star though. Room smelt like the sea and musty, so A/C was constantly running to keep us comfortable. No running fan in the bathroom, not sure if they are supposed to come with one? Bathroom constantly musty and foggy during showers. Toilet did have a bidet though, that was a nice touch. The cabanas were “cool” but not $150 $100 minimum on drinks / food cool. I mean guess it’s to make you look more exclusive to the people eating at the tables. But to me, it felt I paid $250 to watch people eating at their tables with coverage. Food was good. Oyster was not, had to fight swallowing that one. It was like the biggest seasoned sauced booger. Stomach hurt immediately after. Barely any shopping inside the resort, just small independent shops. ABC store got most my business. Walking to beach was literally just a street over, it was perfect. Had our own personal homeless guy outside our building from 10pm-3am. He sat in front of the “Waikiki Resort Hotel” up from the McDonalds and just screamed to himself and anyone who was in distance to hear him but not touch him. I wanted to scream back and argue cause I was drunk and bored myself, but I forgot I’m a classy person. Morimoto Asia = Food was bomb. Price was $$$$. Noi Thai = Food was trash. Price was $$$ for a handful. This is coming from Thai people. KFOODHAWAII = Food was 🔥! Price was $$. Maybe best Korean teriyaki chicken / beef I’ve experienced.
