It was a very pleasant stay - the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were generous and there was much variety, the rooms very comfortable.

I was travelling with students and because I booked through hotels.com and wanted two rooms (I paid online with one credit card in one payment) they separated the rooms into two separate reservations and put us on separate floors. Then when I finally got us into the two rooms my room was cold so i wanted to shut off the air conditioner and I switched it to heat. Assuming the smell was because it was newly turning cold I didn't think anything of it. That's when the smoke detector started blearing in my room. Assuming the fire alarm was going, ishut off the power to the unit and we took off our into the hall where we realized the alarm was only in our room and no one cared if we did burn up. I went back in and opened the window and dealt with the blearing noise of the alarm. Still 5 minutes of beeping and no one even noticed.

Was a bit surprised by how nice this hotel was. It exceeded my expectations. the furniture was fairly new and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the sausage that was served at breakfast.

It was decent but the bed was quite high and difficult to get in and out of comfortably.

Our room smelled really bad, like basement mildew and was very clammy and damp. The bathroom door and closet door could barely close because it was so warped...probably because of the moisture in the room. I felt like I was staying in someone's basement.

The bathroom was in poor condition. Toilet ran all night and parts of it haven’t been cleaned in a long time.

The staff was quite helpful.

It is a very nice, reasonably priced hotel close to Hwy 53 and I94, central to Eau Claire, with many dinner options and shopping close by.

I booked two rooms for one night and after checking in I went to the rooms and found out that the rooms were not made up. Towels were on bathroom floors and beds were not made up. Tried to contact the receptionist and it took more than 15 minutes to get in touch with her. She assigned another two rooms and those were okay

This was not the stay we were hoping for. It was over Labour day Weekend, so not sure if it was due to that that staff was lacking. Staff present friendly, but insufficient.
