Hotel was wonderful, however, I had to cut my trip short due to some issues with my wife (she is disabled and the care I setup fell through for the end of my trip). I had to cancel two nights and requested a refund of those two nights. The hotel told me I needed to get with hotels.com for the refund. I contacted hotels.com and they told me the hotel's policy would not allow a refund. The hotel told me it was hotels.com policy that would not give me a refund. I am not sure who is lying, but it is so discouraging that honest people/companies are few and far between. There were cheaper hotels available but I wanted this iconic hotel. I could not help my wife's situation and felt a little compassion was in order. Super

A great hotel. Lovely old building full of charm. The staff were brilliant with little touches such a birthday cake we did not know about. They were all very friendly. Breakfast was good.

We had a marvelous time in Ho Chi Ming City in large part because of our stay at Hotel Majestic. It has a great location on the road adjacent to the Mekong River with a tremendous view from the roof top bar. It is within walking distance to many wonderful attractions including shopping and the magnificent Ole Saigon Opera House where we were able to witness a very wonderful acrobatic and artistic dancing performance. If you like classic style hotels with a French colonial flare, Hotel Majestic will be for you. Very appealing to us compared to modern hotels.

A historical take on luxury and class. Iconic property. I have a lot of memories with this hotel, since it was also a movie theater, where i would hideout in after cutting class.

It is an excellent hotel especially if you are interested in colonial era properties. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The property has been recently refurbished. They did a ln outstanding job. I’ve stayed at the Majestic before and will do so again. Excellent.

The service level of staffs are different which should not be accepted as a 5 star hotel. The hotel itself is classic/retro/old/etc., depend on person/guests what they expect to the hotel.

Everything was excellent. Very friendly staff.Room were kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great. Can add some Indian food. Swimming pool was too small.will go for this hotel again.

We stayed 3 night. Room services cleaned up room every times while we ware away, and served bottled water. It was little disappointing that sound isolation is not so good.

We didn’t realize this hotel was attached to a casino, so the hotel vibe was rather “Las Vegas-like”. So if you enjoy parties, smoking, and lively entertainment, this is the hotel for you. However, we had just travelled 8 hours from another city and were exhausted when we got here. We were looking forward to a comfortable luxurious 5-star, and was very disappointed. We checked in around 8pm and after settling in, wanted to dine at one of the restaurants. Two of the restaurants were closed, one of the lounge was filled with people smoking, and the other was on the patio outside 40 degrees humid temperatures and someone singing (yelling) into the microphone on stage. As we waited for our food, sitting at high top chairs, the heat and noise became unbearable and we decided to get our food to go to eat at our hotel room where there is Ac. The service was mediocre to be honest, and we decided to check out the next day and stay at a different hotel.
