wonderful resort, like new cabin, cool "tap room" check in area and convenient to all the site Mount Rushmore, Keystone and Hill City, Custer Park. Sayted with my parents and cabin was perfect with separate bedrooms, large bathroom and kitchenette and living room made for a nice stay with privacy. private parking just feet from front door.

The groundskeepers, or owners not sure which were super friendly.
Loved everything about this place except in my opinion the bed was super uncomfortable, but other than that I have no complaints

This was such a great place for us to stay! The owner Justin was so nice and helpful and the gentleman that was helping was also super friendly. Quiet, nice little cabin with plenty of room for my family of 4. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Room is small bathroom didn’t have any cabinets to stor your stuff and they didn’t clean our room and we were there for 4 nights left on our 5 that.

Absolutely loved the serenity of this place. Even though it was right off the highway, very little road noise. Very clean and well-stocked. We'll definitely be staying here again

This is a cozy little place. It is nice but be aware the cabins are small. Has a very neat little tap room that is quite fun. The owners are very sweet and welcoming. Very easy access to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse.

We stayed in Aspen cottage for a week. The cottage was perfect for our needs. The location is perfect for all the activities in the Black Hill area. The property was very well maintained and clean. The owners provide a fun atmosphere with nightly bon fires, grilling area and tap room for gathering and conversations. We will be recommending to everyone and hope to return some day.

We stayed in Aspen cottage for a week. The cottage was perfect for our needs. The location is perfect for all the activities in the Black Hill area. The property was very well maintained and clean. The property was immaculate. The location was perfect with great views. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and we had HOT water!!!! The owners treated us like family and they take such great care of the property. Unbelievable place to stay. I would highly recommend Black Elk Resort, and we can't wait to come back next year!

The property was beautiful. There were way to many rules. Also as a paying client and I have use of the amenities on the property, if I wish to invite someone over to eat and use the grill, the guest has to pay. Either pay $10 or they have to buy a drink from the bar on the property. Never have I ever heard of this before.

Safe, owners great people, clean cabin stayed in the Buck Horn cabin, nice bon fire every night, tap room on site. Had a great time.

Our cabin was wonderful! Clean, cozy, and comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival and throughout our stay. The location was perfect, just a few miles from all the attractions in Hill City and Keystone. I recommend Black Elk to anybody visiting the area!

Black Elk Resort looked pretty and had the right price tag when I booked. I did NOT expect the little piece of heaven that we stepped in to when checking in. Becky gave us all sorts of info about the property and taproom and recs for the area. The room was comfortable and the views were amazing. I want to come back again and enjoy it with just my husband next time.
