Located in the municipality of Rechlin, the area is close to the Müritz National Park, which you can explore on foot, by bike or by carriage. Even Berlin, Potsdam or Rostock are not too far for a day trip. In the harbor village of Müritz there is a wide range of maritime activities for boat owners and for guests who want to charter a boat. From the Marina Müritz there is lock- and bridge-free access to the Müritz. You can rent open sports boats without a license or rent larger houseboats. It is also possible to get a boat license. You can also moor your own boat; there is a 90 t crane, a 3.2 ton pillar crane, a trailer parking space, marina shop and of course the shipyard service. All in all: an El Dorado for water sports enthusiasts. Anglers will also find a true paradise here, as the Müritz has an extremely rich fish population. Various species such as bream, eel, perch, zander and pike can be hooked and caught here.
