Location is great. Right off of Main Street so getting down town was easy. Rupp arena is about 2.5 miles away straight down main. Drakes and other restaurants are very close by.

Breakfast was ok. Eggs were bland. Decent choices though.

The beds were hard as rocks. The most uncomfortable bed we have slept in. The breakfast was terrible. The biscuit were like rubber. The sausage links were not real sausage. Tell you the truth I don’t know what they were. The eggs had no taste. The staff watched you like you were in jail. We had to get some ice for a small cooler just like a lunch box style because I am a diabetic and needed ice for my insulin. Because the fridge in the room froze drinks so I could not put my insulin in because it would have. Froze. A staff member asked my husband when he was getting ice for cooler if he was stocking up on ice. Also the pool room was very hot and looked very cloudy and unclean. Was afraid to get in it. Also the side we went into the hotel had two very steep steps without any railing. Very unsafe not to have a railing for guest. Never been to a holiday inn express with these problems. I know we will find a new hotel chain because holiday inn express has went way down. You have got to improve your breakfast or just don’t serve breakfast. We also were charged 50.00 on our credit card for incidentals. They said would take off our card in three days. We were told when checked in they would just need our card if we had incidentals They did not say they were going to actually charge our card. We have never had a hotel charge this they just also had our card number if we had any charges. We paid almost 400.00 for two nights. Very disappointed and will not be using holiday inn express. Even though we have used this chain for years.

Comfortable and large room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Several restauants in walking distance to to choose from. Slept well.

Too noisy!!!!!! Could hear everything in the hallways… people talking .. doors slamming. Could hear people taking showers Bed and pillows uncomfortable

The staff was friendly from the start. They offered me complimentary water which was need after my drive. They were so courteous and kind. I didn't have any issues with my stay or the staff.

It was clean and breakfast was good

The elevator was not working so my daughter had to carry my luggage up the stairs to 2nd floor, since I am recovering from recent knee surgery. The front desk clerk was pleasant and asked to assist when I first arrived to check in, but we were hungry and drove to restaurant nearby to eat dinner first. He was not up front when we came back. The room also smelled musty and we had to keep the air on 70 degrees to keep air flowing.
