The bright lights at night and early morning thru the window…only a shear curtain to close in the window. if light sensitive trying to sleep would be a challenge.

I have enjoyed my stay at Double Tree, the views and the location are truly amazing. My last visit however was not pleasurable.

I invited my children to come visit and hang out by the pool. During this time my children and I were VERY uncomfortable. There were guests leaving the pool area when we arrived. At one point, there were guests looking at us through the glass pool doors as well as from the window on the second floor . My son asked "mom, are black people even allowed here"....after a few encouraging words, my children and I just left the pool area. We went back to my room and my children cut their visit short and went home. I shared my experience with the front desk staff the next day upon check out.

Room could have been cleaner - I realize it's difficult to clean the big windows overlooking the lake during the winter...
