I liked the location on the river, but in general it was a huge rip off. No towels and my own towel was stolen on property. The room is outdated and just kind of gross.

My older mother on a walker and I went and the staff was very accommodating. The view of the river is wonderful and we loved walking through the old town.

The bathroom and shower are very small but was not a major issue.

The setting, the water and kayaks, the beauty of the location. The people at the office were quite nice. The fact that the ranch wasn't crowded was also a plus.

The Pioneer Village wasn't open and it was a little depressing, although it looked very interesting on the initial drive-up. The fire-pit near our front door (no 18) made us a little nervous and several guests were having a fire at or after 10 p.m. It was very dry at the time in the area and I would think a burn ban should have been in place. Having two machines for the AC/heating was problematic.

There was a coffee maker but no coffee in the room. It is not a big problem, but you have to bring your own towels.

The property is great, the pioneer town is fun, ice cream shop. River access and pool were great.

#17 was basically a dump. It needs TLC and aesthetic effort…original charm can be kept with an updated bathroom and actual furniture in the room. All surfaces need repainting and sills and bathroom need cleaning.

The room was clean, close to Blanco river, and quiet. Sort of Wild West atmosphere. Good internet and air conditioning.

You can tell that building is old. The doors get stuck. I was constantly afraid that I will not be able to open the front door next time around. The lock is completely worn. The tiny fridge has never been defrosted since the time it was brought in there. All frozen.

The scenery. The river behind the lodge was a surprised! Then there's the Wild West building scene within the premises. There was just so much more to the place than just cabin. The location was very close to dining places, activity centers and picture perfect spots yet the atmosphere within 7a Ranch feels you drove to a remote area. I sent pictures to my friends and they are now planning to stay here in August. The staffs..Very helpful The cabin..very quaint, clean For the price, I would come back to Wimberley with friends and still choose 7A Ranch.

We set the airconditioning unit to 63 but it feels like 76, woke up in the middle of the night coz the room feels warm. Unfortunately, we only stayed overnight so the facility didn't got the chance to address this.
