The apartment was great, and so was the location. We will absolutely stay there again.

Communication with host and apartment details was mediated by a third party app, which was difficult to access when I didn’t have good phone service. The keys were located in a lockbox a door down from the apartment building which required watching a separate YouTube video on for how to find — not my idea of a comfortable and easy check in process. The apartment unit was located in a large building that was largely unmarked and had no signage. There was no reception or directory and was far too quiet and empty for my personal comfort levels. This listing is more like an AirBnB (host himself described it as such over texts) than a hotel apartment, which I had expected. I did not feel safe entering alone at night, and would not recommend to any solo female travelers. This is not what I was expecting from something listed on Booking.com. There was also a massive cockroach in the apartment! When I reached out, the host was not sympathetic to my concerns. I understand there was a heat wave occurring, but I should not be expected to pay to stay in an apartment with cockroaches under any circumstances. I ended up leaving after the first night due to the cockroach and my discomfort, which I’ve never had to do before. Did not receive any kind of refund from the host.

- Very very very poor security - We were victims of a break in during our stay and had all our jewellery and laptop stolen and room ransacked while we were out - apartment building that screams dodgy (all other rooms appear to be permanent residents and this one room is very obviously used only for tourists making you an easy target, I’m very surprised the reviews don’t reflect this and more issues havnt happened) - no safe/lockbox to secure belongings - shared balcony with neighbouring unit and a door that doesn’t lock properly (this gave access into our room and a small divider between the two rooms had been moved by the offenders which are most likely from this neighbouring unit as it’s the only way to access the balcony) - no personal contact with host - all check in is via a lock box and is done by yourself and a electronic guide (won’t suit all travelers) - no hot water in the shower - room and bathroom is very small

Plaka is the oldest district of Athens. It has its charm, pulse, but also a lot of people moving in the narrow alleys. It contributes to a place that is alive in the historical. The present and history meet. Close to everything. But a GPS in the mobile phone is an advantage. Otherwise easy to go around in circles :-) The apartment was nice, functional. Everything was there. Pleasant, comfortable beds. Host very helpful. The neighbours was friendly and helpful.

I cannot find anything special. Too much tourists, maybe but I was one of them, so I can´t complain.

The location was good. It is a 5 minutes walk from Monastiraki train station. You can take the metro blue line directly from the airport to reach Monastiraki (it is pretty far from the airport so saves you money instead of taking a cab). The flea market and other shops are so close and you can buy souvenirs at the cheapest rate as compared to other parts of Athens. There are many many restaurants in the area. The apartment itself is good. It has a kitchen as well with all the necessary equipment (hot plate, cattle, dishes and pans, toaster, sandwich maker etc) and you can even cook your own food. The bedroom is small but nice. Good for the solo traveler, even for a couple but not more. Iron and a hairdryer are also provided. A small balcony with two chairs as well. Please watch the video they send you after the booking to know how to get the keys and how to enter the apartment. There is no reception or anything like that and you are on your own. It has a small private bathroom as well with amenities. Close to Acropolis (10-15 min walk) and other famous historical places are also within 20-30 min easy walk.

Not really a very posh area so set the right expectations. The kitchen is very small and it is not very easy if you are cooking anything but still doable. The shower enclosure in the bathroom is also very small. But still a nice place for few days.

This is a wonderful flat in central Athens, close to all the main city attractions. Everything is provided for and the host is very nice.

The neighbour's dog would sometimes start barking around 8am. The keys weren't in the lock as per instructions but the host turned up quickly and apologized.

Excellent location, the host provided a manual for Athens which is very useful. The room was a bit small but equipped with everything, even a small kitchen so you can cook simple meals. Very good value for money.

Great location- right in the middle of everything! Perfect size for a few days stay- spotlessly clean. Everything you could need for your stay is supplied (apart from a corkscrew- please get one for the apartment Nasos ha!) Wonderful host- very helpful! Loved every minute here.

The kitchenette is too small to be comfortable. The TV receiption was lacking. Extra blanket would be useful.

The apartment is located in the center where all atractions were available, we enjoyed this location very much. The bed was super comfortable and absolutely loved it. Owners were very responsive and helpful, all problems that we had were solved in a couple of minutes. All basic facilities were available and this apartment is perfect for couples.

The location is ideal, within walking distance of all the best places for sightseeing. Souvenir shops, cafes nearby, but in the evening it is quiet and calm. the apartment has everything for a comfortable stay there, a comfortable bed, a kitchen, a balcony for breakfast. Next time I will be happy to come back here. Thank you for hosting us

Fabulous communication prior and on arrival. Check-in process was seamless with a friendly host. The apartment is in a fabulous location and was a clean and comfortable place to return to after big days exploring Athens.

Amazing location, very cosy, clean and nicely decorated studio with all necessary amenities and facilities for enjoyable stay in the heart of Athens for a great price. Acropolis hill is just 100 m and so many cafes and shops around. Excellent WiFi and air-conditioning. The host was very friendly and explained everything to us in detail when we checked in. It was easy to check in and easy to check out. All in all - a great experience and highly recommended.
