The house was perfect and close to the beach

Great location! Beach and main road with restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Great space and pool. We had 12 people with plenty of room to spread out. However, for the price, I expect better. Its a little shabby, dirty and some mold. The bed I slept in was not great. We actually went and bought pillows the next day to try and make it better. With all the fees we ended up paying a lot per night and for that price everything should be perfect.

The house sits at a great location for all activities. The beach is 3-5 minutes away, depends on how many things you are caring. You also have the brewery 1 minute away and activities just down the road. House has a nice pool and nice set up all around. Just FYI, make sure to ask host that propane tank is full, in case you plan to bbq.

Our stay was great! My family enjoyed the house & it was a great experience for them & we definitely look forward to doing this again. Thank you so much for answering any questions that I had timely. Excellent customer service. We appreciate y’all.

We stayed at this property with our large family. There was 13 of us and everyone had a place to sleep. The heated pool was great along with the lights in it for swimming in the evenings. Short walk to access 11 which had restrooms and showers to rinse off feet and self =) property was fast to answer any questions we had.

Beautiful, very clean, large home within walking access to beach (a few minutes), souvenier shops, restaurants and grocery store. Beds were very comfortable. Many updates (great shower in master bedroom), and awesomely huge TV in living room perfect for family movies! Porch was lovely to sit on and watch the ocean while sipping a beverage. Could not have asked for a better location or a more comfortable, spacious, and well supplied house. Small bathroom toiletries were provided. We visited the Sea Turtle rescue and did a dolphin boat ride which were both wonderful. Would come back in a heartbeat and hope to do so!

Everything was great

The location of this house was only 1/2 block from the beach! The house was spacious and clean for our large family which was great, everyone had their own space. All enjoyed the spacious back yard and the heated pool. Some things to consider bringing to this older home are: own rugs not only for the 3 restrooms but also for the entry way from the pool, extra bath towels including hand and wash cloths, extra eating utensils, large serving bowls, frying pan, detergent, and oscillating fans for the two bedrooms downstairs as they never cooled enough to be comfortable.

Also take any cleaning supplies to use while you are there...wiping counter tops off, tables after you eat as there is nothing at the house. Also take your own knives, we cut a watermelon with a dull knife because there was no sharpener at the house, we also had to go and buy pizza pans. The grill was a bit dirty and we went and bought foil to use it instead of cleaning it.The walk to the beach was easy and from the top patio you could see the beach! We had so much fun and the weather was great! We had plenty of space for out group of 15 (3 small kiddos). The pool was a bit smaller than I thought it was going to be but the kids LOVED having a place to play after the sun went down or if we were not quite ready to go down to the beach. Wish the upper patio right off the living/kitchen area had some screens to keep the mosquitoes out, we would have used it alot more!

Nice, comfortable, large house, lots of room for friends and family. Full kitchen, big front deck area, 3 full bathrooms, big screen TV and more. About 1 block from the beach.

Great location and good space. Loved the heated pool and the bedrooms upstairs are super clean and neat. Bottom rooms and restroom could use some TLC to make the whole house shine. The extra room by the laundry room is too hot for anyone to stay overnight but its nice extra space.

Started out horrible with no taxis, MAJOR airport problem, no Lyft or Ubers at airport, we were told from various sources. They have them but not in the evening. Our flight was delayed by 30 minutes and we were in by 8pm. I would highly recommend a vehicle even though most things on the island are within walking distance. There were major issues with other families being out of rental cars they had reserves as well. Four families were stranded. Once we finally got to the house we were told the key was under the mat. We called to do a late check in. However no key. The house was very run down with dirty tile, some tiles around shower missing amd wood was exposed. No fry pans in kitchen, dead bugs in bunk room, exterior could use some TLC. Had to call the rental office for many things that wouldn't be necessary it was maintained. The cold water in master bathroom, air not working, hot water in master bath not working and lower level bathroom not flushing. Backyard was a huge disappointment. Dead palm trees, no flowers and no cushion for chairs. Outside grill was falling apart and needed two people to attend to it (hold it) so it didn't fall apart. Thought the wristband mandate was a joke! We were told they were necessary as it covered the extra security during spring break and Easter time. We never saw security or got asked about wristbands. We were actually told by locals we shouldn't get charged. They responded when complained, but we called at least once if not twice daily about issues and went back to their office. Let's end on a good note. We really needed a get away. It fit that box and was great to walk to most of what we needed. Very friendly and helpful people at the rental office. They felt bad we had so many issues. Beds were very comfortable and pool was nice and warm. The SPI rentals were very responsive with every service issue. Especially Michael the service manager who made things right.

The house was pretty and big, but we got two noise complaints from nearby neighbors. I understand that there are residents that live in SPI permanently, but it was the weekend and we didn't even have music on. Putting that aside, the weekend as a family was good. The house is big and pretty.

The beach house was very comfortable. The location was great close to everything. Family really enjoyed the location and its only private pool.

The property was great for the most part. Plenty of room for our family, just a block from the beach, pool was great, the upstairs porch was wonderful. The two complaints I have is the comforters were really dirty, but the sheets were clean, and definitely needs a few updates especially downstairs. Otherwise we had a great time!

Great place, great location

Enjoyed our stay in 121 East Bahama. Plenty of room for our whole party. Short walk to the beach. Pool was warm at night. complaint was of the two mixers only one worked.

We loved the house! The pool was amazing we would love to stay there again! We purchased a couple small rugs for the pool entrance to the bedroom because there was nothing the tile was slippery when it got wet, so I would recommend some bigger better rugs in that area and maybe one as you come in the front door. Thanks so much for everything and see you again in Feb. 2021!

The location is great. Walking distance to the beach. Its actually a 4 bedroom house with two makeshift rooms with poor air quality. Designed for 3 couples and kids. The house needs to be updated. TVs are tiny. Lizards in the laundry room. Water heater could not meet the demands of 13 people. Heat setting in the water heater is set so low that only luke warm water comes out. I understand owners want to save on energy costs, but not at the cost of comfort. Property managers were great and tried to accomodate any needs. Would have been better off staying at a hotel for the amount of money spent.

This house is perfect for a family with a wide range of ages. There are multiple living spaces and the pool keeps everyone entertained. The open floor plan makes cooking in the kitchen a great experience. We had four generations of family who all enjoyed their stay.

We just love South Padre Island ! This was a family vacation and our first time renting a house. Lots of room for everyone and the location was perfect so close to the beach. Modern decor, very easy to feel at home, comfortable beds. Disappointed in the lack of kitchen towels and dish clothes also, had to buy a frying pan one supplied was unusable. The pool was absolutely marvelous our stay was great besides the weather. When dealing with the staff they were friendly and prompt. Would highly recommend this property!
