The condo itself was super charming and view was absolutely amazing. Close to the Boardwalk. However, the condo never cooled down below 84 degrees. I contacted the host, who said he would have someone come check the AC units but that never happened. It was unfortunate we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful condo because it was miserably hot, especially when trying to sleep.

Newly remodeled 3 bedroom condo with poorly working AC and WiFi worked only in the living room.
Noisy outside, the sea weed has been collected ever morning by some noisy equipment.

Condo was very nice. Recently updated. Building is old. Air conditioning was good for living room and master bedroom, but two back bedrooms needed better air flow. Beach was nice, pool was great. Close to Christiansted. Neighborhood was not the greatest, but we never had an issue.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo on the beach. The unit was nicer than advertised. The layout of the condo worked for our group, with three bedrooms, each having a separate bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed and the open air porch overlooking the beach was stunning. The pool was great. There are restaurants and grocery shopping nearby and we were only two miles from shopping and restaurants in Christiansted. The condo is centrally located, which made it easy to drive to popular sites on the island (Point Udall, Frederiksted, Rainbow Beach, tropical rain forest, Mt. Pellier Hut Domino Club, Estate Whim Sugar Plantation). It was easy to deal with our host Earl and he responded quickly to a couple of issues. We would definitely stay at Villa Carib again!

Check in was easy and the condo was perfect size for our group! We noted a few issues and they were quickly fixed. The location is great. Very close to Christiansted and lots of shops and restaurants!

Old building looks tired stairs need painted, lot needs paved. Condo was dirty I was told it was cleaned by the regular person. No air in the bedrooms for the first 2 days. Manager said it was working but because it was sat and sun he could not get anyone out to fit it til Monday. Told us to stay at a local hotel at our expense. He also said the owner said to just open the windows. The weather was 82 at night and 90 during the day. The seaweed was ok the first few days and they were cleaning it up but the last 2 days no cleaning was done and it was hot and smelly. Pool was nice. Neighborhood was questionable at best. Would not recommend this unit or area.

The views are simply amazing! If you aren't into sight seeing and adventure, just being at the condo to relax is enough. The balcony was more than the pictures could show, I could have stayed there the whole time!

Great time! Minor problem with electricity in one of the bedrooms but Earl was great and a workaround did the trick. Very comfortable place, two good restaurants a few minutes walk away.

We had a great time at this property. It’s very centrally located between all areas and activities of the Island. Property was very well stocked and we’d love to stay there again.
Our only complaint is that the beds were kind of hard… could easily be fixed with 3” memory foam toppers. 🙂

This condo was a great place to stay for our week in St Croix. It is a great location, close to everything, but far enough away so all we could hear were the waves washing up in the beach. There was plenty of space for 6 adults, and everything was well cared for. We couldn’t figure out how to get the air conditioner to work, but it wasn’t necessary with the beautiful breezes we had all week long. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here again.

The location was good. Loved the tropical furnishings. The patio was very comfortably and the view fantastic. Kitchen had a good variety of utensils/plates/pots. Was disappointed the dryer outlet did not work. I am assuming it was because it uses electricity. The thermostat could use some directions so we could turn it off when not there. We figured out how to turn it up. The pool area was great. The grill worked and there was a refrigerator which is nice. Did not swim at our beach because of the seaweed/grass. I would come back again

Our only complaints last stay were the need to update some items in the unit. All those items have been updated with the renovations. Even people on the pickier side should be satisfied with this unit. You can't beat the unit location. Christiansted is a stones throw away and both Rainbow Beach and the East Side are equally accessible.

I wish that I could upload a photo. Unfortunately the sargasso that was mentioned was a bit understated. Not only was the beach unusable, but our entire ocean view was obstructed. It smelled, however, no one can do anything about that. The balcony doors did not seal, so unfortunately, the smell seeped inside the building. This was also troublesome, as the a/c had a hard time keeping up. We stayed at other beaches and stayed away for most of our time there because of this. There were bugs, which are to be expected, but the roaches in the kitchen were a turn off. The pictures are accurate for how it looks. It appears that the unit is being updated and it is coming along nicely. The bathrooms are updated, however the master bathroom shower was not working when we were there. Parts were ordered, but everything is on "island time". The pool was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. There is a place to bbq near the pool with plenty of seating as well. The location was great. Overall, I would not stay again, and would advise others to get realistic picutres of the sargasso and before booking, esp June-Dec (according to the locals)

Loved St Croix
Really enjoyed our stay. The property has nice updates in the baths but could use more throughout. On the water location was nice though the seaweed was a nuisance that prevented use of our beach. The waves rolling was soothing! We did have a few little bug visitors while we were there but they also sprayed during our stay so I was pleased to see that! The neighborhood around the location was a bit economically depressed and still recovering from past hurricanes. Overall we loved our stay and the unit was priced very fairly! Thank you for the use of your home!

Good communication, big unit for long stay gave everyone plenty of space, awesome sea views and big galley to enjoy the sea air and sounds, location convenient to everything and could watch ships sail into Christensted from galley, one of AC units needs replaced called for service and they came but couldn’t repair till after we left but at least made a fix to get us by and keep us comfortable, baths recently remodeled and nice kitchen needs some TLC but functional would definitely stay again we love St Croix!👍😎

Wedding Get-Away
We were impressed initially at the number of bed rooms and the view from this condo. It was in a good location, and right on the beach. The view from the condo was gorgeous. We were able to hear the waves at night. The breeze was amazing. The master bathroom was great with a walk in shower. You can see the work they're putting into the condo. The best thing was sitting on the porch and watching the waves. It was an excellent place for a family get away.

Exactly as Advertised and GREAT LOCATION
The condo was located RIGHT ON THE BEACH which was wonderful as we were toggling iffy weather and nap times with our young children. The unit had its quicks as I have come to expect when renting peoples homes but over all was good. The bathrooms were recently remodeled and were beautiful. The kitchen was outdated but functional and clean which I expected. The balcony was lovely and the maintenance staff at the condo were awesome and so kind. This is definitely a LOW KEY vacation spot so if you're looking for something a little more rowdy this isn't it...think retirement community with some families kind of vibe. Earl was very accommodating as we rescheduled our stay on the fly and moved it up a week which I know could be daunting. The beach was relatively calm and had an insane about of conk shells and other shells that my toddler when wild about. not to mention the ghost and hermit crabs all over the place :) Overall great experience and I would definitely stay again.

Great value for family or small group
The condo is spacious with a large family/dining area and easy to work with kitchen. 3B/3B is rare to find on the island and was perfect for us as we were a group of 3 couples. As you can read from other reviews the condo is dated but the owners are working on getting it updated (only bathrooms have been updated, rest of house is in need of updating and repairs). Overall it was a very comfortable place to be our home base on the island for 8 days with a nice beach in front of the large covered patio, master bedroom, and family room. The pool area is exceptional with a full kitchen and BBQ area. It’s a real gem of the property. Beach gets a lot of seaweed but it wasn’t a bother at all, we swam and hung out on the beach multiple times and enjoyed it..use water socks as the sea floor has sea urchin and some coral remnants.

Good Location.
The location was good as we spent most of our time in Christiansted. The property needs up dating and I must say that it seems that is in process as the bathrooms were newly remodeled very nicely done.
The rest of the unit desperately needs a makeover and maintenance. The sea air can reek havoc on everything and it has over the years. The beds were all very old as was the furniture. The kitchen needs work as it looks like it has not been renovated from the original install.
I like Sugar Beach and would like to return.

Okay so when i tell you this is by far one of the best places i've stayed in like ever!!! It was a nice neighborhood all the neighbors were very helpful and friendly!! Let's not forget the view BOMB.com!! The stores were 5 minutes up the road, so easy access to food and drinks. Earl was very sweet and helpful. I even left some of my items and he shipped them for me ! It was a solid 10/10. The only thing i was missing was a tv lol i missed some episodes of my shows aha but other than that it was great!! will be staying again.

this property is older but very roomy and had everything we needed. the view out window cant be beat. the seaweed eveeywhere made it nonswimmable but it isnt a far drive to go to othwr beautiful swim areas. we will stay again if we make it back! thank you!!
