4 of us stayed here and it’s the perfect location! Close enough to walk to everything and a beautiful property! Communicating with Di was super easy and quick!

We enjoyed our stay and were able to walk from the city in about 15 minutes - the downhill way. The flat was clean and had everything we needed. We cooked our breakfast daily and we’re glad to have a dishwasher to clean things up for us. My only caveat is that the flat is up a set of 100 plus year old stone steps that curve around and have been worn by years of feet. If you are not surefooted you will have a problem getting up and down

The flat was spotless and had everything we needed. We found the location great for seeing the sights. It is a bit hilly so we paid £5 each for a day ticket on the bus which got us up to the castle and the royal mile and further afield. Also hopped on a bus to Leith which was well worth it. Highly recommended property and a friendly host. Thankyou Di!

The flat was beautiful with plenty of room for 4 adults. The flat had everything we needed for our stay. The host Di, was easily contacted by email via Vrbo UK and responded quickly. Situated in the New Town area which was a short walk to the main sight seeing areas. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from in the local area. Overall we had a great stay in Edinburgh.

Beautiful, bright and spacious apartment in the best part of Edinburgh; close enough to all the attractions, but a peaceful residential neighbourhood on an evening. Added bonus of two bathrooms, which was handy for us, as we were two couples.

A wonderful, clean and large flat with all the amenities you could ask for. Great location, an easy walk to Stockbridge and quick buses to Leith and Old town. We would definitely stay here again , but next time for a longer visit.

This is a great apartment in which to have a "real" Edinburgh New Town experience. It's a really comfortable and well equipped flat. The location is brilliant and there are great shops and restaurants within easy reach. Great hosts who were very communicative. The hosts have prepared a comprehensive info pack. Would strongly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy apartment. The spacious living room invites to sit and play games. We cooked and ate in the kitchen with good equipment even though we were not used to gas cooking. The generous bathroom is a definite plus. If you have a bit taller teenagers the beds are a tiny bit short in the second bedroom. All around a very nice place.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was walking distance to most everything and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Super clean, modern kitchen, plenty of space. Our host was very gracious and accommodating. Thank you for your hospitality! We will return!

Nice apartment in very quite road. Parkinfg free at weekends but very expensive otherwise. Nice walk into town about 10 mins away.

Well appointed 2 bedroomed (1 double , 1 twin) flat in quiet street in Edinburgh's "New Town". Convenient 15 minute walk to Princes Street etc (and bus stop nearby). Good value all round.

No surprises, everything as advertised or better. Our landlady couldn't have been more helpful. Would love to return. The neighbourhood was safe, friendly and attractive. Easy to access all the major sites of Edinburgh.

This is a beautiful, clean and comfortable flat in an excellent location. There are lots of good books and excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the yellow folder. Communication was excellent too. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic base for a long weekend in Edinburgh - location was excellent - easy walk to Princes Street and very close to restaurants, bars etc in Stockbridge plus Botanical Gardens and Inverleith Park. Flat was well equipped and comfortable - would use again.

Easy to rent.

The flat is beautifully furnished and very well-appointed. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom, ensuite and cloakroom are a real bonus. The flat is incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is in a very quiet location yet only a twenty minutes' walk from Princes Street. There are several food shops just a short walk from the flat which cater for all your needs. We had a wonderful time in Edinburgh and it was a real joy to go back to such a comfortable and welcoming environment after a busy day of sightseeing. We absolutely loved the whole experience.

If you want to stay in a real neighborhood, that is close enough to walk to the Royal mile, in a large and comfortable flat, then this is your place. I should also add that there are many good restaurants and shopping near by as well. Communication with Di was great. She provided complete instructions for check in and details about the flat. Her book on restaurants and things to do was one of the more complete we've seen. When we return to Edinburgh we will definitely stay here again.

The apartment is beautiful and so large. We loved the neighborhood and the Cumberland St Bar. Stairs are a little tricky fir 3 ladies who did not pack lightly, but so worth it. Can’t say enough about the place. Would definitely stay again. The highlight of our trip to the UK.

This is a great location when visiting Edinburgh. Especially, if you want to have amenities close by and want a relatively quiet location. Diane (Di) is wonderful to work with along the way. She is very responsive and is a delight. This location made it possible for my brother and I to play golf at Guilane one day. We were also able to walk to most sites in the city, as well as hop on and off busses. We got plenty of walking in as well. This location is warm, well decorated, and homey, to say the least. We had a great time with my brother and his wife.......both of whom we have known for 40+ years. I would highly recommend this location, if you want a quaint and wonderful location, as well as a fantastic manager/owner/operator of this location in Di. She is great, and is very responsive to questions and concerns. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Was just about right for portioning out our week in Scotland. We would stay again, should we come to Scotland in the future........without hesitation.

The flat was exactly as described, bright and cheerful with a lovely updated kitchen and bathroom. Having a second shower and second toilet made it perfect for three women and a 3 1/2-year-old. The location couldn't have been more convenient, close to food shops, restaurants and cafes, the city centre, a well-equipped playground, and a short bus ride to the Botanical Gardens. The hosts checked in with us during our stay and were available for any questions. Can't wait to come back!

This street is located at the bottom of the hill - so we got in the habit of uber-ing to the Royal Mile or museums, etc. and walking back. The Stockbridge neighborhood was terrific -- check out The Last Word. Di had recommended but my husband found on his own - best and most interestng cocktails we'd ever had. We had a lovely time and hope to return soon.
