Schöne, kürzlich renovierte Wohnung im 19. Jahrhundert Villa auf einem der fünf schönsten Straßen von Amsterdam.
Großer Blick auf dem Kanal, friedlich und ruhig ... doch in Gehdistanz von Restaurants, Bars, Markt, Kaffeeecke, Geschäften, den Zoo und Museen.
Die Lage ist sehr einzigartig; Nach ‚‘ unentdeckt Amsterdam „ist eine der fünf schönsten Straßen.
Das Hotel liegt im östlichen Teil des Zentrums von Amsterdam; 10 Minuten Fahrrad oder der Straßenbahn vom Dam-Platz. Fahrrad-Rennen gleich um die Ecke. Parkplatz in der Nähe. Straßenbahn um die Ecke. Ganz in der Nähe zum Zentrum, aber immer noch das wahre Amsterdam ...
Sehr geeignet für einen längeren Aufenthalt oder einen Streifen mit der Familie oder Freunden.
Die Wohnung befindet sich im obersten Stock der Villa (2 Treppe hinauf) und hat eine wirklich magnificant Blick auf den Kanal.
Es besteht aus zwei Räumen, die einzeln oder zusammen bezahlt werden können.
Beide Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und verfügen über zwei separate Luxusbetten; jedes Zimmer mit einem Bad und WC.
Die Wohnung hat eine voll ausgestattete Küche (Herd, Kochtopf, Wäschetrockner, Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine).

This was the perfect place to stay. The front and back rooms are both bright and airy. There is a kitchen with all the needed details. We do enjoyed starting our vacation here. Wessel is an amazing host and provided us with spectacular food recommendations. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Although not in the centre, Wessel’s property was on a very pretty canal and an easy tram ride from central Amsterdam. There were plenty of good restaurants and nice coffee shops within walking distance. There were three of us in our party so we utilised both bedrooms and the kitchen area. We had everything we needed for our 3 night stay, comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Wessel was welcoming and obviously available if we had any questions- which we didn’t! One thing that may be an issue for some were the two narrow staircases to climb to the top floor. Overall a great introduction to Amsterdam!

Easy to get around town from there. Place was clean and the only thing I would say is if you have mobility issues this place may not be ideal. Stairs are steep.

Property was clean and well appointed. There were 2 adults and we booked for 3 so we could have the whole apartment to ourselves and each with our own room. Small kitchen served us well for breakfasts and snacks. Bathrooms were stocked with soaps, shampoo, etc. Some reviewers have advised about the 2 steep staircase stairs. These were a bit curvy so the steps were not rectangles, but narrower at the curved part and wider (still shallow) at the outside wall. A handrail is installed on the wall side. A bit challenging for 75 yr old people nonetheless. The owner's daughter graciously and quickly handled moving our luggage up and down the stairs so we did not have to deal with that challenge. Beautiful views from both bedroom windows, one of the canal and one overlooking the gardens of all the homes. Restaurants, grocery, and a wine store just a short walk as well as the tram stop. Quiet location overlooking the canal made for restful nights.

Since we stayed with two other adults we loved the general outlay of the apartment ( two separate bedrooms and bathrooms) Nice views from the bedrooms. We found many breakfast items in the kitchen, which was pretty convenient. Thank you Wessel again for that and for all the Information we received at our arrival. A very quiet and authentic neighbourhood! I can highly recommend!

We had a lovely time staying at Wessel's place! The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and Wessel was very kind and helpful. He walked us through everything we needed to know and provided many necessities in their bathrooms and kitchen. Their are very steep stairs in the home and Wessel's family kindly brought up all of our large bags for us. Our only complaint is that the twin beds slid around quite a bit, but were comfortable nonetheless! We would certainly stay again.

Beautiful views from the apartment. Easy access to public transportation to enjoy all Amsterdam has to offer. The neighborhood is quiet and family oriented. Local grocery stores are well stocked and the produce is great. The stairs are as steep as advertised, but Wessel graciously brought up the heaviest bag.

I had booked this property with two of my friends as we wanted a two bedroom and two bathroom. The home was very cozy, clean and welcoming. We were also close by to a grocery store, restaurants, shopping and various transportation. Our host was very friendly and checked in on us throughout to ensure our needs were met. We rented both bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, the kitchen area clean and well stocked. The hosts are very attentive & quick to respond to our questions or needs. We were very close to a grocery store, wine shop, cheese shop, numerous restaurants and a tram stop.

Our recent stay on the top floor of a home on the Transvaalkade was perfect. The host, Wessel, has set up a perfect, light-filled apartment with a glorious view over the canal which worked exceptionally well for my husband and I and our adult daughter. The two separate bathrooms, small but well laid out, were very convenient. The kitchen was well equipped and we were very grateful to have facilities to wash and dry our clothes. The beds were comfortable. The neighbourhood was delightful, we especially enjoyed the cafe on the other side of the canal for our evening drinks and also the large range of supermarkets nearby for us to purchase our supplies. Public transport worked brilliantly for all of our day trips including to the Kroller Moller near Apeldoorn, Haarlem and, of course, regular trips into Amsterdam Central, just a few minutes tram ride away. Wessel was kind and helpful and we greatly appreciated that he stayed up late to greet us and talk us through the apartment when we arrived. We hope to return in the near future, this time with our boys.

Fantastic location right on a picturesque canal, with easy access to many restaurants and transportation. The owner was easy to communicate with and welcoming; the flat itself is airy and comfortable, with two bathrooms, and a kitchen that's small but serviceable. We had no issues, and enjoyed our stay.

My daughter is attending college in Amsterdam and we were there as a family to set up her dorm and do some sightseeing. Wessel is very attentive and a great help when we had questions. We loved the house and the neighborhood. Close to so many shops and good restaurants. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

The apartment was in an incredible location near Oosterpark and the rooms each had their own bathroom. My friend and I loved staying here and the hosts were very attentive and kind to our needs! Highly would recommend!

Arrived late in the afternoon, the host and her family lives on the first floor and she met us and took us on a tour of the 3rd floor apartment. She walked us through the security system, the appliances and provided a binder of directions, transit info, restaurants and places to visit. Wonderful, accommodating and great location for outside the the central part of Amsterdam.

Wessel & family were wonderful hosts! They even brought our two larger suitcases up & down the stairs for us! We spent 4 nights at their property. It was a great location for using public transit. We were able to easily get to all the places we wished to visit. We highly recommend their property.

We did not want to stay in central Amsterdam but close enough that we would not have to spend too much time on the tram and this location did not disappoint! We appreciated the kitchen and laundry, both had what we needed. Lovely owner which makes staying more comfortable. Thank you

First visit Amsterdam and we fell in love with the city immediately! This property is in a great neighborhood with many choices of restaurants(The Cottage), easy-to-access transportation, and fewer people than central Amsterdam. The apartment has great views, safe, and comfortable, and is very well equipped. Several markets within a block or two. the hosts, Wessel & Helene were very accommodating! Looking forward to a return trip soon.

This flat was as lovely as the pictures showed, and the hosts kindly brought up our luggage, as the stairs are very very narrow (typical for Amsterdam). In the morning the only sounds from outside were bird song and ducks squabbling! We were well provided for in the kitchen, the coffee especially was delicious. Easy tram to the Dam.

A lovely quiet flat, a gem
In a great location with a view of a very quiet canal with occasional ducks swimming by, this flat is a gem. With two bedrooms each with its own attached bath, a well stocked galley kitchen, and ample space for relaxing, it was close to grocery (and other) shopping and to public transport. The hosts, Wessel and Hélène, were gracious and very kind and helpful. I would gladly stay there again on a future visit.
