Es ist eine der größten Eigentumswohnungen in Angel Fire, befindet sich im Erdgeschoss mit 3 kleinen Stufen zum Parkplatz und ist nur wenige Schritte vom Chile Express entfernt. Sie müssen nicht einmal morgens Ihr Fahrzeug starten, Sie sind schon näher als die Parkplätze!
Die Wohnung verfügt über viel Platz für einzelne Familien oder große Gruppen mit Platz für 8-10 Personen, kostenlosem WIFI, Satellit, 2 faszinierenden Kaminen und 2 bezaubernden Balkonen.
Unsere Wohnung verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss sowie ein Loft im Obergeschoss mit 2 Etagenbetten. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen wunderschönen Holzkamin, einen 32-Zoll-Flachbild-TV, ein Hauptbad und einen Balkon mit Blick auf die Pisten.
Das 2. Schlafzimmer ist geräumig und verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett, einen 32-Zoll-Flachbild-TV und ein Bad, das nur wenige Schritte entfernt liegt. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein Loft mit Doppelstockbetten (2 Einzelbetten und 2 Vollbetten), einem Fernseher mit DVD-Player und einem kompletten Badezimmer.

This property was truly close to the slopes! It is the very last unit of the property closest to the slopes. It was quaint and roomy for all of us (9). The kitchen is fully stocked and has a variety of dishes, pots and pans. The front door is located on ground level to make it easier while walking up with your ski equipment. The main downfall to the property is the comfort of the beds. They are extremely hard (but I’ve spoken to many people who were with us staying at different properties and they all had the same experience with the beds being uncomfortable). The tv in the living room never worked for us. It would never stay connected to the internet in order to stream (there is only streaming capability).

First in line for the bike park lift, and it is opening in four minutes, but I forgot my pads. Since I can see the condo from the line I am down to the condo and back in time to make the first lift of the day. Place is super convenient. We had two adult males in the two downstairs bedrooms, and I was upstairs in the loft. Everyone had their own bathroom, and for all practical purposes their own bedroom. Mattresses were great, with no complaints from anyone on the beds. Some of the cabinets and tops were likely original, but someone who cares manages this place and I could not find any deferred maintenance anywhere so who cares. Parking was adjacent the front door, as a bonus. We will mark this one down for a return trip.

Everything was as advertised, no problems with showers or beds. Even did laundry with no issues. Easy walk to the lifts as well, which was important for my mom and young son. Would definitely stay again!!

Property was really nice. Close enough to walk to the Chile lift. I would suggest a wagon to carry your skis and boots down to the lift if you have younger kids or you are older. I mentioned this because my son noticed someone doing this.

First family ski trip
This has been the best vacation experience for my family! The condo was perfect! Clean, spacious, filled with everything you might need! We definitely want to do this again next year. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Great views & a perfect proximity to the lift.

Great Stay Close to Slopes
We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very kind and responsive. They quickly delivered trash bags that were missing and were very reasonable and understanding when a big snow storm delayed our check out a bit.
The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with kitchen utensils, dishes, crockpot, etc. Also, had a full size washer and dryer.
The only improvement I’d suggest is new mattress or foam toppers. The beds were a bit hard.
It’s about a 5 min walk downhill to the Chille Express and Village area.

Great condo outside of Taos
Property was exactly as described. Easy communications. Great area for skiing and hiking. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Location and affordability
We had five adults in the condo for six nights. There were three meals a day cooked in the kitchen and there were plenty of pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, cups, etc. We walked to the lift each morning, came in for lunch each day and walked back in at the end of the day. The location is incredibly convenient. We did not experience a HWH issue. In fact, it appeared to be brand new. All five of us showered while the dishwasher was running one night and we never ran out of hot water. We had a few small issues upon arrival, (missing washcloths/hand towels) but the management team responded quickly and took care of the issues. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this to anyone headed to the area.

Perfect location
Kenya's property was one of the reasons our first family ski trip was a huge success. The location is perfect. Even our 9 year old was fine walking to and from the condo to the slopes in ski boots and carrying his skis the whole way. This was the most important factor for us. The condo had everything we needed (including coffee and filters for am and a corkscrew for the wine bottles in the pm). The condo complex is pretty old, I think built in the early 1970's, and the condo been somewhat updated but not much. But you can't beat the price, especially for the proximity to the slopes.
The biggest disappointment was that the master bed was very uncomfortable. I think the owners tried to remedy this by putting an egg crate topper on top of the mattress, but the egg crate didn't reach all the way to the head of the bed so our legs and backs were on it, but not our heads and shoulders. I didn't hear any complaints from the kids about the other beds. If the owners invested in a new comfortable mattress for the master bedroom, we would definitely stay here again!

Front row parking and just a couple steps up to the front door. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for our family of 5. The living room was comfortable and great for movie watching or games at the end of a ski day. Super fast wifi (averaging over 100 mbps)!The bunk room upstairs was perfect for all the kids, and even has a full bathroom. Speaking of which—3 full baths? Incredible for a family needing showers after skiing. Two decks with mountain views...although probably a little more pleasant in summer!Found our new favorite place to stay at AF!

Angel Fire Fun
Great location. First thing when you check in drain the hot water heater. Turn hot water on in each bathtub - has terrible sulfur smell. I would definitely recommend taking your own pots and pans not sure they need to be used pretty nasty. Beds don't expect much comfort need to update. We had a great time anyways.

Nice little place, great location.
Older condo complex right across from resort, short walk to lifts. Location hard to beat. No parking issues. Nice layout for our family. 3 baths was nice. We had 5 adults, but would be good for large family or even two small families with king room, queen room, and two sets of bunks in loft. Showing some age and wear, but well maintained. Top level condo with another unit below. First unit on left as you enter, between parking and street. First floor pretty much at parking lot level. Just a few steps up. Small dining and living area were big enough for 5 of us. Not a bad view from patios and dining window. Beds not particularly comfortable but not too bad. No real issues with anything, except internet went out for a couple of days, but owner was very responsive and it got taken care of. Could hear neighbors below, but overall it was pretty quiet. Could hear street noise, but traffic was light. Would recommend and Consider staying again. Not fancy or luxurious but comfortable, clean and cozy.

Great Location
You can't beat the location of this condo. It is an easy walk to the slopes. There are racks to hang your skis on the balcony off the family room so if you rent a bucket to leave your boots at the ski shop going back and forth is easy. There were 9 people in our party and we had plenty of hot water. Having Directv and Netflix was also nice. We had an issue at the beginning of our stay but the owner responded very quickly and took care of it.

Right at the lift
Very nice, clean property. You can walk or ride your bike to the lift in just a couple minutes.
However, the hot water has a strong sulfur smell, but fades after your first shower if you can manage to empty the tank. Also, we have 2 young kids and there is a very steep flight of stairs to the loft/bunk room. Also, the bunk room has an open wall looking down on the living room, so we weren't comfortable letting the kids sleep in there.
If you're not traveling with little clumsy kids, though, this place is great. It is much nicer than some of the other condos in the area.

EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED; NO UNPLEASANT SURPRISES
We easily located the property and unlocked the door with the code provided.
The condo was spotlessly clean, so no funky smells or other weirdness. We found it to be exactly as described and pictured--nicely decorated and spacious
We loved the location-- within walking distance of the chair lifts. Parking just outside the front door, we had a very short distance to carry items to and from the condo. Although there are some steps to climb, we didn't find it excessive.
We enjoyed plenty of room and plenty of bathroom space. Satellite TV, WIFI, Netflix, etc., worked perfectly.
We did not use the fireplaces, as our visit was July/August. We were skeptical about "no A/C" but didn't need it. Stand fans were provided if we needed them.
We found the kitchen fully stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, linens, dish soap, etc. We did not eat out at all, but enjoyed cooking our own food.
We found Angel Fire grocery prices to be about the same as at home. We shopped Lowe's, Dollar General and the Sunday Farmer's Market for groceries and produce. There are no fast food restaurants in Angel Fire.
The full-size washer and dryer were more than adequate for our needs. Nice fluffy towels were provided.
Beds, except upstairs bunk beds, were very comfortable.
The owners are friendly and communicate regularly.
Our deposit was refunded a week after check-out with no hassles.
To summarize, we loved it and would recommend it to others.

Great Family Retreat
This is the second time our family has stayed in this condo in Angel Fire, and again we had a wonderful time. We had everything we needed and the couple of minor issues we reported were resolved quickly by the owner. We love the floor plan and use of space. We look forward to staying here again next year!

very nice condo, walking distance to the slopes!
my two oldest boys decided to take another last minute trip to Angel Fire this year because the snow was so good, last time we stayed at the lifts. One thing I love about this condo is the lack of stairs compared and while it is a walk up to the slopes after a long day it is a walk down to "home" which is the opposite of the lifts. One day my 9 year old was done early, it was great just letting him walk home. We had no problem with parking and cars were sparse during our trip. with only three of us we used the first bedroom for our gear, my boys loved TV's in each room! Everything was nicely appointed and very comfortable! Thank you for sharing your fabulous condo with us!

Perfect place for families and close to lifts!
We loved the condo! The kids stayed upstairs in the loft on the bunk beds and loved having a TV for movies. We were able to walk to the lifts with our ski gear (ages 4-40). It was a perfect location. We were also able to walk up the street to El Jefe for dinner. The only negative I have is the place is not very sound proof so take some noise makers for sleeping at night. We could hear every step from the kids even from the back bedroom. This would not keep me from staying here again. I will just be more prepared next time! Looking forward to going back and staying here again next year! It was great!

Great Location!
This is a great condo SO close to the ski mountain. It worked great for our 4 kids learning to ski. We walked back each day to the condo to eat lunch since it was so close. The 2 sets of bunkbeds in the loft worked great for the kids. Also having 3 bathrooms was nice too.

Second time to stay at Chalet. Everything was, once again, GREAT!!!
Short trip with family and friends for MTB, fishing, etc. Had a great time and condo was perfect for location, size, amenities. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful visit!
We had a wonderful family gathering at Angel Fire in this comfortable condo. The location was perfect and the floor plan was so cleverly designed it felt very spacious and provided our whole family with plenty of space, privacy, and three bathrooms! The only reason I cannot give this condo a 5 is because the upstairs bed, that my daughter slept in, was not very comfortable for an adult. Kids would love the upstairs loft - they would probably not even notice. Otherwise, we had everything we needed and both the owners and the property managers were very responsive and helpful. We will look at this condo for our next visit.

Very nice condo. Spacious and clean. Great location.
This condo is clean and spacious. We have stayed in several condos in The Chalets and its a great location. New paint, floors and furnishings have made this condo warm and cozy. One complaint which i hate to complain is there is no place to put your groceries. Cabinets are full of everything you need to cook a meal so groceries can’t be put away. Next time we rent this condo I will take a couple of plastic tubs to keep groceries in. Our groceries had to sit on the counter on each side of the stove. The beds upstairs have a lot to be desired but we managed. We had two small children and felt it was best to keep them down stairs to sleep so my husband and I stayed upstairs. Beds were not comfortable. We always love being in Angel Fire whether it be winter or summer. Home away from home.
