Very spacious rental, with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Comfortably furnished with leather sofas/chairs in great room. Two showers with lots of hot water, for after hiking. Bed was comfortable, with extra blankets for a chilly evening. We enjoyed being close to Brevard and Pisgah NF. We didn’t have time to enjoy the fire pit; but next time…

Enjoyed our stay in this nice, clean little farmhouse. Super convenient to DuPont and Brevard and is a perfect basecamp for excursions to the surrounding areas. The bike wash station was great and came in very handy. Also loved the porch right off the driveway...perfect safe spot for your gear. Wish we had time to stay more than 1 night. Will be back!

This was the perfect place for the two of us to stay as we explored Brevard and the Pisgah National Forest. Very clean, well taken care of, and easy communication with the host. We had everything we needed. Nice and quiet and beautiful farmland surrounding you. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The Farmhouse was a lovely retreat. We enjoyed downtown Brevard, Hendersonville, and hiking trails in Pisgah and Dupont Forests. We saw 7 waterfalls in 2 days. Host was great at communicating from start to finish. Clean and cozy.

Bedroom & kitchen were real nice. The only thing we didn’t like is the furniture in the large living room was too far from the fireplace & TV. Location was great.

This is a great property to stay at. We enjoyed the fireplace and the cleanliness of the interior. The kitchen was large and clear instructions were left for using the remotes/wi-fi. Property owner was very responsive. We especially appreciated not being required to excessively clean such as other vrbo's have required. Not having to dump the fireplace ashes was a plus. Thanks for the great stay!

We stayed here to be close to hiking and the pretty place. The house is very cute and was perfect for our stay. We cooked out and enjoyed the spacious yard . Very close to shopping like Walmart and grocery stores. Thankyou for sharing your house with us:)

Farmhouse stay
Generally a nice place. Well equipped as listed. A little more highway noise than we anticipated, as it is located literally between Old Hendersonville Highway and New Hendersonville Highway and you hear both, not really loudly, but it is noticeable. Close and easy to get to everything you would want to do in the area.

Better than expected
Very clean and nicely appointed. This cabin made us feel right at home!

Gravel Road
All in all the house was very comfortable and not difficult to find. I rated the house a 4 on cleanliness but wanted to explain why. The driveway and road in front of the house is gravel. It is very understandable why the house was dusty. If you sit on the front porch you always had to wipe off the chairs because of the dust. I gave the location a 3 because it was located between 2 main roads and at times there was a lot of road noise. The property is in a good location as far as going into town or going to the various of area attractions.

Location
Peaceful farmhouse and stay! Nice kitchen to cook and rest between hikes and biking. Good location for those who want to explore DuPont and Pisgah. It was nice to be close to town to discover Brevard and pick up groceries.

Great escape to waterfall country!
We booked last minute when we had just 2 days open up on our schedule. Everything was just as it was listed and, even, exceeded our expectations. We plan on returning very soon to stay a bit longer.
The surrounding area is close enough to amenities, but secluded. There is a cabin next door, but other than the smoke from their campfire, we couldn't tell they were there. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and disconnecting from the 'real world'. There was more than what we needed in the pantry and loved the hospitable offerings...the list of things to do, games, stocked pantry (spices, oil, disposable cutlery, etc), thorough instructions and close availability...

Don't be Surprised!
100% Enjoyed our stay and the comfort and ease of being near everything we enjoyed, yet far away from the hustle and bustle of all the worlds fast paced life.
Here is my ONLY negative that is not really a negative at all:
Upon arrival, depending on the way in which you enter the gravel road, which the property is on, DO NOT be alarmed that you have chosen incorrectly.... You have NOT! This place is just keen... ;-) However, upon first turning onto the gravel road there is a property that is, almost, suspect to living in a waste dump.... It is appalling in its sight but it is harmless as far as its residence (Judging that they smile and wave). From the time we went to and from town we never had to pass by that property again... So use the entrance closest to Brevard ;-)
All this being the case, I do not believe you will find a property worth its cost better than this. I was looking for peace and quite yet something close to town, which didn't cost an arm and a leg, and this place was it!
Kudos to the owners! You represent you property very well.

Property is good but the area around is not the best for this beautiful cabin.
Fantastic weekend.

Comfortable and convenient
This property was roomy, clean and comfortable. It was close to Brevard, Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest. We did some hiking and biking while there, and enjoyed the general vibe of the Brevard breweries and downtown. The property was also convenient to Hendersonville.

a nice getaway for us
My wife and I were looking for a quiet getaway to relax and be near mountains/nature. This was a great place for that. It had everything we needed and was accurately advertised. It was very quiet and everything went smoothly because channels of communication were set up well and Harold was prompt in communicating.

Private, quiet and well appointed.
Very comfortable house! We have family in Hendersonville, and we can't stay with them because we have cat allergies. The living space is very generous, so we were all able to hang out at the farmhouse! Very quiet, but close to a major road, so easy in and out. Would highly recommend for any couple looking for a quiet place to stay that has ample room to relax, watch tv, cook a nice meal.

Great time at the farm house
We had a great time at the farm house and JR was a fantastic host and very communicative. Recommend for a relaxing time and for being close to many different waterfall hikes.

We loved the farmhouse! It was beautiful, clean and in a peaceful setting. The king size bed had the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on and was incredibly comfortable. The swing on the front porch was delightful for hours of nature viewing. My husband and I loved having 2 bathrooms and the kitchen had everything we could ever need. The location was perfect as the town of Brevard was only 5 minutes away with food stores, restaurants and shops. Check in and check out were super easy and our hosts put in much effort to our comfort and pleasure with lots of fluffy towels and instructions for TV usage. The house itself is spacious and brightly lit and we loved the stone shower in the main bath. For a couple needing to get away and relax, the farmhouse is perfect. We hope to come back in the fall and enjoy it again.
