This was the perfect location for our family vacation. My husband and I invited our grown sons, along with our 16-year-old son on vacation with us. This home is perfectly located. We chose this location because we wanted to make sure everyone had the ability to access different activities. This home is located within walking distance of Piedmont Park, local shops, and restaurants. Depending on when you come and how long you stay you can also enjoy some of the local farmer's markets.
The host of this property is quite attentive. I can honestly say that when I visit Atlanta again this would be my first pick for accommodations and I would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling with a family.

The bungalow was a perfect spot for a weekend for us - five college friends who hadn’t all been together in 20 years. The house is beautiful and comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, the front porch was exactly what we had hoped (and where we spent most of our time.) and the neighborhood is cute and convenient to lots of spots. Carmen was a very attentive host and we would all highly recommend this property.

We are local to the Atlanta area, and our staycation could not have been more perfect. We were able to take easy walks to local parks, playgrounds, shops, and restaurants, and then come "home" to a cozy, quiet, and very well-appointed house. Carmen was also incredible to work with. She provided great check-in/out instructions, made sure we had food in the refrigerator when we arrived, and checked-in on our comfort along the way. This house was just what we needed!

Near perfect. It suited our group perfectly to both have 3 people stay overnight at the property instead of a hotel and the space for our work offsite was perfect for our group of 7. The interior living spaces and the flow of the home (+ the technical setup and screen) worked beautifully for our group to get strategic work done. The front porch was great, the backyard was great, the neighborhood walkability was incredible. The host was super responsive and accomodating. Will be back for sure.

Everything about our stay was delightful. The photos and descriptions were totally accurate, the communication with Carmen was easy and attentive. The kitchen was very well stocked, actually the best kitchen in a home rental that we’ve ever experienced and we love to cook. Beds were comfy and perfect. Love the location and the cozy porch for hanging. I can only rave about this wonderful house and Carmen. We had the best time and were able to hang out so comfortably on the living room. Fove stars for sure!

The home was beautiful, super comfortable and in a great area.
Very comfortable beds, great bathrooms, large comfortable living/dining area and beautiful kitchen with many stocked items.
Every room was beautifully appointed with top linens and decor.
We also really enjoyed the large front porch with plenty of seating space. There was also a beautiful backyard.
Great location...we walked to nearby restaurants, TJ's and Piedmont Park.
We would definitely stay here again!

The house is even better than the photos. It is spacious and comfortable for the whole family. I travelled with my elderly parents, my eldest son, and my dog to visit my younger son at Emory. The house was clean and well stocked with every amenity. The host, Carmen, was terrific. She stocked the frig with requested items prior to our stay, and even left a personally monogrammed gift for our dog!
Loved the neighborhood- local restaurants, coffee houses, fitness centers, nail and hair salons, a bookstore, and so much more within a 5-10 minute walk from the house. The neighbors were super friendly, and generally were out walking their dogs, walking or running every morning. Very safe and warm. What isn’t clear from the photos is that the beds are rather high. Not ideal for elderly guests or for anyone who needs to use the bathroom during the night. Also, the back yard is ample, but covered with turf, not grass. But overall an absolutely wonderful stay! Best part was having coffee on the welcoming porch! And Carmen’s attention to detail!

Easy to work with owner. Loved the front porch. Everything as advertised.

Beautiful property in a great location. Loved the front porch. The primary bedroom was a bit warm and musty. Maybe during cooler seasons this is not a problem. We would stay there again!!

Very much enjoyed the neighborhood and the front patio!

Exceedingly well stocked home. Host was so very thoughtful (we received an embroidered blanket for our dog as a gift and the fridge was stocked with items we selected ) and the host had excellent communication. The home and yard is beautiful and well decorated. The location is excellent. Overall a five star experience.

Carmen is an amazing host and thought of everything to make this home comfortable for my family’s stay. I would definitely recommend this home if you are visiting Atlanta.

My family and I were able to reunite at this beautiful home. We spent many hours on the front porch listening to the brief rain storms and talking. We walked to near by shops and ate delicious meals. Our pup was treated with a special gift upon arrival and the crate was a great size for him to stay in while we were away. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful and cozy home away from home.

Carmen is an excellent host. Her house is immaculate, has plenty of space to social distance (including a wonderful porch with a large swing, rocking chair, and overhead fans), and is in a great neighborhood (walkable to “downtown” Virginia Highlands). Carmen is very reachable by text. Check-in was a breeze. I’d love to stay here again!

We were in Atlanta for our daughter’s swim meet at the Ga Tech pool. Beautiful bungalow was located easy 10 min drive from campus.
Home was so clean and all COVID protocols were followed which made us feel good about traveling.
Enjoyed sitting on the lovely front porch most of all as well as walks up to the neighborhood coffee shops. Garden is gorgeous and neighborhood is friendly.
Our host was extremely helpful and accommodating and very responsive.
Would definitely recommend this home away from home.

The entire experience was a positive one. Carmen was very hospitable and proactive in providing details about the home and neighborhood. She thinks of everything to make the stay pleasant and hassle free. The home is well done throughout, spacious and exactly as advertised. The location is awesome. My best all around experience with VRBO yet.

This property is nestled in a very nice Virginia Highlands neighborhood. Personally, I enjoyed the coffee selection and front porch area. Also nice to have off street parking.

We cannot say enough about this property. First-class all the way - decor, accessibility, fully equipped with all things needed for a comfortable stay. Carmen was the most gracious host and made us and our fur babies feel right at home. We look forward to returning.

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our Virginia Highlands’ stay! The property was an adorable cottage in the heart of the Va Highlands. We walked to all the restaurants and shops - and even Piedmont park! We had everything we needed — and Carmen went over and above by presenting our dogs with monogrammed blankets to use during our stay! We would highly recommend!
