The hostel was very clean, very reasonably priced, fairly well equipped with local info and the host, Franco is very accommodating and helpful with lots of information.
The hostel was noisy due to the noise coming from the high street and the bar below. Also doors opening and closing can be heard through the night.
One night there was live music coming from literally outside the hostel and this ended quite late!

Franco made our stay super convenient and pleasant, one couldn't dream of a nicer location either to hike from or to visit from in the vincinity of Monte Cucco. Costacciaro is a magnificient small village as you'd love to see in Italy.
Nothing in particular

Clean, towels provided when realised we needed them, friendly welcome from Franco
If Franco has been there when we arrived, as we had no mobile service so had to borrow a phone to call him to check in (within check in hours)

We had an amazing time in Costacciaro because of Ostello Del Parco di Monte Cucco and Franco. Franco was extra accommodating and even picked us up from the train station when we arrived too late to catch a taxi. He also drove us to the car rental the next day. Franco made us feel at home, we can't thank him enough! We wish we could have stayed longer.
