We had a great time during the day at Helen town, Anna Ruby Falls and tubing but we came home and decided to visit the pool, we were having a good time with my family and we also met other family there while we were getting to know each other a lady named MIRIAM which claimed to said was the head of the security came very rude and asked us to leave the pool cause she assumed we all came together and was more then 8 people at the pool which there is no policy or rules stating this. She yelled and threatened us to call the police on us, we were really confused about why she was so rude and telling us to leave, she came back asking for everyone's name which we refused since she was very rude and not explaining what was the problem. All of our kids were scared and crying which she even make fun about it calling them "poor babies" After all the arguing back and forth she asked us why we were even there if we were not native Americans and didn't know how to speak English which we noticed the problem overall was that she was racist and that is why she didn't want us there. at the end, we decided to leave because of our kids' safety but we are definitely not coming back there.

Pictures are very deceiveing. Code didn't work for front door. Had to use key box to get the key to open the door. The only reason I rented this place is b/c the host said I would be able to get a power wheelchair in there for my parents. I asked her before I booked & she said there was a small bump to go over & it "should" be fine. Couldn't have been further from the truth. There's at least a 12in step to get in front door & about a 6in step from the garage. I couldn't get the wheelchair in & my parents had a very difficult time getting around while we were there. I went to use the wall oven the next morning only to find the 1960's oven doesn't work at all. All of the kitchen cabinets are filled with stuff but it's really not useful things & there's no space to put your dry foods in cabinets. Bottle caps from beer found in drawers & oven mitts are disgusting. Washer & dryer had dried stuff & looked dirty. Walls, doors & baseboards all need cleaning. T One bedroom upstairs has a canopy bed frame that's very wobbly & my dad was scared it was going to fall on him. Closet light in master bedroom continously blinks if you turn on the light. The outside of the home needs major repairs and better lighting. It's advertised as a 4 car parking but if you have 4 cars you would not be able to get them turned around to go back up the steep hill. It doesn't look like any renovations have been done since 1980! Inside space is nice but it leaves alot to be desired.

The rental was located in a prime location near Helen and very convenient to downtown. It was obviously once a nice home, but is now in desperate need of updates, repairs, and maintenance. The downstairs bedrooms were tiny with mattresses which were NOT queen sized, as advertised! The kitchen lacked sufficient eating utensils and cooking equipment. Some of the available items were inoperable. Several drinking glasses and dinner plates were dirty. When we arrived, we were greeted with just one bath towel and one washcloth per person - all this for a 3 night stay! (Note: We did find an additional 8 wet bath towels in the clothes washer - found on the day we departed). Pitiful cleaning service! The driveway was on a very steep downhill slope which led to (must I say it?) inadequate parking for a 6 bedroom house!l If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-equipped vacation rental, keep looking. Would not recommend.

We had plenty of space for our family. We were all able to eat together inside or out. There were also plenty of bathrooms. The driveway is a bit steep, but once we did it a few times we became experts. It was possible to drive down and turn around using a three point turn. The house is located in a lovely mountain neighborhood and was very quiet. I would recommend staying here. The host, Kate, was great with communication, so that is definitely a plus.
