Absolutely loved the location of the cabin!! House sits at about 9,000’ and offered great views. Cabin was very clean and host was very responsive.
We opted to sleep in the basement bedroom to allow our kids (ages 12 & 15) to sleep in the bedrooms across from each other on the main level. Please note, both bathrooms are located in the hallway on each floor, so there isn’t a private master bath if that’s important to you.
A few things would improve my overall rating of the cabin:
1) Blackout blinds in all bedrooms
2) Updated kitchenware (full set of measuring cups/spoons rather than random partial sets for example)
3) Shower water temp seemed to be gauged for a maximum temp that was only luke-warm. Water temp at sinks got really hot, so it didn’t seem to be an issue with the water heater.
4) Lower level toilet is very small and not very suitable for adults.
5) requirement to remove trash if you have more than 2 bags. This seems like a basic service that should be included.
Even with these suggested improvements, we very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin offered tons of space for the teens to have their own space. Hundreds of trail options located nearby. If you’re looking for a cabin that is outside of the hustle and bustle of typical touristy mountain towns, look no further!

Was better than expected! I would do it again.

My wife, adult son and I all came to the Denver area for a run of three nights at Red Rocks (in early July), and we had an amazing time! I had hoped to find a place to stay out away from Denver but still within an hour or so drive from the things we wanted to do. This place was the perfect answer!
The house is tidy, well equipped and cozy. Everything you need and so much more. The starry night sky is breathtaking as are the views of the nearby peaks. The incline of the dirt road for the last few hundred yards to the house is no joke (from a midwesterner’s perspective), but it’s very doable. I’m absolutely positive that 4WD would be necessary in the winter but not a problem without it in July.
It’s about a 45 minute drive from Red Rocks, which was fine before the shows. After the shows, I found myself wishing the house was closer, but upon arriving back at our home away from home, I was reminded each night that this was exactly what I had wanted.
There are numerous hiking trails nearby, and a day trip to Garden of the Gods was only about 75 minutes away.
All in all, I couldn’t possibly have been any happier with our choice!! Absolutely loved this place!

Cabin was amazing and Tony was a great host. I highly recommend them both. Make sure you pay attention to the details on the listing. Tony does an awesome job of letting you know everything to expect. If you have issues with altitude sickness it is pretty high up but that is also part of what makes it awesome. And the road I’m sure would be difficult in the winter but we had no issues on our summer stay. All in all - if it’s a good fit and you’re able to stay here - do so!!!! We absolutely loved it!!

Property and location were spectacular! We traveled from New Jersey, building a trip around a Concert at Red Rocks featuring Ryan Bingham. Great trip and complimented with a great home.

Great location, very clean, well stocked. Had a great time, will recommend.

This home is amazing. Please listen to the host when they say you need 4WD to get to the property in the winter. Our 4WD truck got stuck and we had to use chains, so plan properly. Also be ready for the neighbor down the hill to laugh at you and record if you get stuck.
The house itself is amazing. Lots of windows and great views. Very spacious and lots of games and puzzles available for family time. Host is very responsive to messages.

We are a family of 4 (including 2 teen girls 16 & 19). This great cabin gave them the room to be "away from parents" instead of stuck in a hotel room with us. So, it goes without saying, the internet works. Tony is quick to respond & very communicative. Their home is very comfortable with everything we needed. We even made use of their little piano, game & puzzles. It took awhile for my husband to figure out the classic Starbucks espresso machine, but he conquered it & made great drinks! We were there during an Aug heat wave, but the cabin stays cool despite not having AC with nice breeze. A couple nice neighbors, but feels secluded & safe. I'd say a 4-wheeler is best even during non-winter seasons. Getting places may seem slow-going because of winding roads, but we went all over from this location: airport, Red Rocks, Evergreen, Colorado Springs (Garden of Gods), Treehouse Adventures in Bailey is great! We ate at Crossroads Pub & Grill, great food/service. We really enjoyed our stay

Breathtaking views of the mountains on our drive from the airport. Great home, well equipped, very clean, plenty of space. Well stocked with games & books. Nice quality linens & towels. Very helpful & responsive owners.

Great out of the way cabin with stunning views, I needed to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle and this was the perfect place. Close enough for some day trips with the family and out of the way for some quiet relaxation at the end of the day!

Wonderful and relaxing! Everything was great in this cabin. The view is a amazing and the stars are endless. Quiet and peaceful. Great place to unwind and disconnect.

We had a wonderful stay at Tony’s beautiful mountain cabin. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to hang out together and room for teens and adults to do their own things. Kitchen was the best stocked VBRO we’ve ever stayed at. Beds we’re comfortable and there were plenty of bath towels. Check in and Check out directions were easy and well communicated as well. Tony was a very responsive host from start to finish.

We weren't told the house was above 9000 elevation. I got sick with altitude sickness. The road up to the house was rutted with one especially deep rut that had to be maneuvered around. The water heater allowed only one shower, then had to have time to reheat. The owners personal clothes were in the closets and I had to move them to make room for ours in one closet and the bathroom closet was full of their things; such as alcohol.

The cabin was a perfect location for trip. We were able to use it as a great landing point for our adventures in CO. The house had plenty of room for our kids.

Nice relaxing Cabin. View was amazing.

Had an amazing stay for the weekend. Tony is a great host. The indoor fireplace (once we figured it out) was great. Kitchen was clean and very useful. Deck with grill and hummingbird was perfect in the morning to watch the sunrise. Highly recommend.

We loved this cabin! It was exactly as it was pictured. We had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and and the host quickly responded to messages.

My in-laws were visiting from India and we wanted to show them a glimpse of the American cabin life. Tony’s cabin was a perfect family getaway for us and a very private location in the forests.

The mountain house was truly a gem. Absolutely beautiful environment and views and the house was more than accommodating. Whatever you think you'll need, they had! The host was so accommodating and quick to respond to small issues we had and rectified those issues in a timely manner- generously and promptly. 4 wheel drive is an absolute must in the winter!! If you are comfortable with that then you'll enjoy this oasis. It was a trip with memories to last a lifetime and this beautiful home was a major part of that. We highly recommend this home and host. You will not regret!!!

This cabin was one I really enjoyed! Has an amazing view while sitting outside. Inside it is nice as well as I have zero complaints. Would definitely recommend this cabin to others!

We enjoyed sitting out on the deck at night. It was easy to see the Milky Way. The cabin had everything we needed and the owner was very nice and checked if we needed anything

We loved our stay in what we began to refer to as “The Tree House” because you feel as though you’re up in the trees when looking out the large, many windows upstairs. I think we could spot one other house way out on another hill, other than that, we were in paradise alone. The house is comfortable and well appointed. We loved that this wasn’t a traditional tourist destination, just lots of wilderness. We had a 4 wheel drive so we went off roading a few times about 1/4 mile from the house, that was fun. The kitchen was great to work in and had everything we needed since there aren’t really restaurants close by. We enjoyed a movie at night in the comfortable TV room and the proximity to Denver is perfect; 1 hour to the airport, 45 minutes to my neice’s home so she came up one day for some hiking. We loved it so much we are now thinking of making this place a “thing” for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. Well equipped and very comfortable. Beautiful views from the deck. Well worth the winding drive up.

This property was just as we'd hoped, warm and welcoming. Everything we could need was provided. Drive up is a bit of a challenge, but totally do-able.

Had a GREAT stay at the Baily Mountain House last weekend - It had everything we needed. The primary reason for the stay was due to the proximity to the Camp Creek Wedding Venue. After that the house had everything that we needed. Great layout, spectacular views, both floors had comfortable seating areas and gave space for each couple to have their own space. High end appliances in the kitchen, as well as the washer & dryer were just a bonus. Tony was very timely in all of our email exchanges. We had a fabulous time in Bailey for the wedding and the can't say enough good things about our accommodations.

Lots of space to spread out with plenty of room to hang out in the open floor plan upstairs and a comfortable family room downstairs if kids need their own space. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware too. The beds were very comfortable. We didn’t leave once we arrived.
The minor cons are, first, the close proximity of the neighbors (although they weren’t loud or bothersome at all - just not quite as secluded as I imagined it would be). Second - the lack of air conditioning. However, opening the windows and doors allowed plenty of mountain air in to cool things off during the hottest part of the day (it was also unseasonably hot during our stay to be fair). Third - having to take all of our trash with us when we left. Luckily, we had friends in the area who were able to take some, but was a complication I hadn’t experienced at other VRBOs.
But these were all very minor and just something to be aware of. We had a great stay and would absolutely return!

Amazing trip
I can’t say enough great things about this home! We wanted for nothing and enjoyed the experience of the mountains. The view is beautiful from the home! Tony was great to work with. We didn’t have any issues with the home. My daughter left her wallet in one of the bedrooms. We were already at the airport knowing there would be no way to get back to the house and airport on time. Tony was gracious enough to send it to us in the mail. Thank you Tony for opening your home to our family. We will definitely be back.

The pictures don’t lie!
I fell in love with this property as soon as I saw the pictures, and it didn’t disappoint! It was a beautiful retreat from the pressures of daily life. We’d sit out on the porch and watch the sun rise and just go “Ahhhh.” We had a question arise during our stay and got practically an immediate response from Tony. I would absolutely come here again!
