We were a group of neighbours that travel a lot together.. 23 of us. We have rented many properties around the world including a beautiful Chateau in France. The pictures on line do not do the views and location of the house justice. It is an incredible property that consists of two houses joined together. The two infinity pools were spectacular as the pictures show.
Pros
1. INCREDIBLE views .. blow your mind.
2. lots of sitting areas with ample chairs and tables.
3. the management team were super responsive and made sure when things went wrong they were fixed.
4. the maintenance team who came by daily to check on
pools were amazing... so friendly and always had a suggestion of something to do or a restaurant worth visiting.
Cons.
1. First and foremost we want to say that ALL the surfaces in and around the pool area ARE SUPER,SUPER SLIPPERY...one of of guests fell and broke his arm on day two and we had 4 or 5 people slip and fall.. unexceptable!
2. Air condition in 3 of the bedrooms did not work till 2 days before we left.
3. Kitchens are WAY too small for a group of 23 to cook in.. equipment is old and terrible knives and prep tools.
4. We had one pool drain on day 3...fixed but a hassle
5. We had several electrical issues..
6. ALL the mattresses need to be updated very uncomfortable.
The house feels (in our opinion) tired and needs updating. This is supposed to be a luxury property with a certain level of amenities.
We paid 21,000 Euros and expected more.

This was all that was portrayed online. The villas provided all the amenities that were necessary for a fabulous stay in a very special place for my family. Pascal and his team were so very responsive to all communications and so helpful in making arrangements for special services we requested (photographer and catered dinner)! The location is perfect, out of the mainstream but close to everything we needed. Loved the whole fabulous experience!

All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed their time at the villa. It was a great place for our daughter's wedding! The villa was clean and the staff was extremely helpful! The only thing that could have made it better was to improve the road leading up the hill, but I would still highly recommend renting Dream Art Villa.

Fantastic week with friends and family in a beautiful location. Really appreciated the help with organising catering one evening. Help organising trips, restaurant suggestions and taxis also really helpful. Would definitely recommend

We couldn't have made a better decision than celebrating our wedding in this beautiful place. We enjoyed a total of 6 days with family and friends. All our guests felt comfortable and enjoyed this villa with its breathtaking view and great furnishings. The staff was very friendly and helpful and Chrissa was a great manager and organiser. She planned our wedding and made this party unforgettable. Absolutely recommendable and we hope we will come back one day!!!

Great view, good vibes
The property was a great home to entertain a large group. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The elevated location provides incredible views of the bay and is a short walk down the hill to the town of Elounda. The property owner Pascal was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We also worked closely with the property manager, Chrissa who was helpful to coordinate dinners and activities. Overall, a great experience and trip of a lifetime in Crete. We would highly recommend this house.

Dream Wedding
There wouldn't be words to describe how amazing our stay was in Pascal's house. We stayed with 18 of our family members and held our wedding at the house and it exceeded everything we had dreamed of. The house was perfectly set up for holding our wedding and dinner and Pascal and Chrissa were so incredibly helpful. We were so happy that Pascal was on the Island while we were there and we were able to meet him. We chose Elounda for our wedding specifically because of this house and I couldn't be happier. We only hope that someday we will be able to return!

Amazing villas!
We had a party of friends and teenagers and took over both villas (which are next to each other). Both were stunning - beautifully decorated and spacious. Outside was the real wow factor though - incredible infinity pools, several stunning seating areas for big meals or cosy chats or seeing the sun set. Outside lighting in the pool, around the properties and in the jacuzzi added to the aura.
Each day a lovely man called Vasilis came to clean the pools and the outside areas and he gave us good local knowledge about beaches and trips, as did Chrissa who checked us into the properties.
We made the most of the indoor and outside space - for drinks, meals, bbqs, aperitifs before dinner etc. We also walked to The Hope Restaurant 10 mins down the hill which was fabulous: gorgeous food, wonderful views across Elounda and the owner, Demetrios was attentive and lovely, as was Tracy who looked after us superbly. We also had drinks in The Hope bar next door - run by Demetrios’s brother. (easy walking down the hill, slightly tougher walking back!)
We played ‘basketball’ in the big pool, had late night dips and drank raccie on the ‘four poster’ sunbex while watching the stars.
We loved it! Thank you Pascal.
PS the *only* thing I wld tweak …in the larger villa, could the kitchen area be slightly bigger, and there be two fridges. 2 dishwashers etc?

A fantastic time had by all....property is in a superb position, overlooking Spinalonga and the bay of Elounda. It is though at the end of an unmade road, and the last part to the villa is VERY steep, so a car is definitely recommended.....you can walk down into Elounda in around 15-20 mins, but one hell of a walk back....taxis will take you there but get the feeling that they are not that happy especially when most taxis there are pretty new Mercedes!!. Elounda itself is wonderful...plenty of restaurants etc to choose from and all go out of their way to look after you.....we did get a number of unexpected extras, such as melon, drinks etc after the meal....An abundance of rooms to choose from, spotlessly clean, the only negative for us is that the lights in the seating area in front of the pool didnt work for the week that we were there....a minor point though...the view from the pools is stunning, both in the morning and at night. People looking after the property very helpful.....My only thought is that the area around the main pool gets VERY slippery, so I personally would have made the non-slip area around the pool much larger....2 or 3 of us slipped a few times......Apart from that. the Dream Villa is exactly that....an absolute dream, and the week we had flew past.....proving that it was one of the best holidays we have had....

Awesome Vacation at Dream Villa
Our two families, made up of 13 adults and 10 children, vacationed at Property #1905659—Dream Villa in Mavrikiano, Elounda, CRETE, Greece, in July, 2016. The property is well-planned, beautifully landscaped and has gorgeous, breathtaking views! It is superbly maintained and the owner and manager were most helpful and accommodating to our questions and requests. There are two houses on the property and each is modern, beautifully decorated, nicely furnished, clean, spacious, and comfortable with all the amenities. This was perfect for our two families and everything worked out well for us. Each family had their own house, swimming pool and privacy. A large covered patio easily accommodated all of us for our meals when we did not go out. There was plenty of room for the younger children to play and explore, and they enjoyed watching their movies in the large outside amphitheater. We had an awesome, relaxing, and unforgettable vacation at Dream Art Villa, and we will always remember our time at the villa with the most pleasant and happiest of memories!!
