About this apartment rental

Welcome to Napier Baywatch Homestay.
We have a very comfortable and sunny self contained garden unit with Queen size bed and ensuite. Sky tv, internet access with own computer, tea and coffee facilities and small kitchenette with fridge and microwave.
The unit is in our garden but it is separate from our home to ensure your privacy. However, we are available for any local information or recommendations. Off street parking.
We are only a 10 minute walk to Ahuriri with all its restaurants and bars, and about 15 minutes into Napier City for some great shopping and Art Deco attractions. If you don't fancy walking back up the hill a taxi is about $10. It is a 5 min walk to the Botanical gardens and historical cemetery. We are also just a short drive (20mins) from the many wineries in the region. Further afield (40 mins) are the beautiful beaches of Waimarama and Ocean Beach. Or why not hire some bikes and explore some of the 180kms of cycle ways.

Not too impressed with the place. Very dusty on the wooden curtains, bed not comfortable, felt the springs. Make sure you flush the toilet twice to stop the first flush. Host very nice and great views.

Trevor and Ann have a lovely sunny, quiet property. Well equipped with all the necessary things to make a visit more enjoyable. Super view and easy access into town. Will definitely visit again.

We had a warm welcome from Trevor and he was very helpful with information about the locality. In addition there was a lot of printed information about pretty much everything that one might want to do. We stayed for 3 nights, very comfortably. A very relaxing environment and a very friendly duo of cats. There was a small hiccup with wifi but this was resolved within 24 h and all is now working very well. Thank you Trevor for your hospitality! .

The host is fantastic going above and beyond to help out, even chauffeuring us around when we had car problems. The apartment echoed the sixties, but in a positive way. Everything worked and was in character with the area. We’d definitely stay there again.

This was a sunny property with great views. Clean and well equipped. We found the stairs up hill to the property challenging but we are in our 80's. The hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Only one comment - the bathroom door didn't close properly. Otherwise, a beautiful location to stay- amazing views. Very handy to cafes/restaurants etc. Property owners very friendly, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. A very private, quiet get away.

Trevor and Ann have created a beautiful cottage in the heart of Napier. It was so clean and comfortable with all the essentials for a stay. Trevor made me feel very welcome and gave me awesome local tips. The cottage is so close to everything. Will definitely be back!

We were very impressed with Trevors pre arrival communication offering help various ways and also on arrival helping with carrying our bags up. Property beautiful, sun all day, gorgeous views, and every facility and comfort we needed. Very clean and a delightful place to stay. Loved our stay and would stay again.

This is a lovely cozy wee spot to unwind. It’s the second time we have stayed and love it for it’s quite location and lovely views. We feel safe and secure here and Ann and Trevor have been very welcoming. We will definitely return to this property which has become our first choice when staying in Hawkes Bay.

Lovely compact unit, very warm and cosy and felt like home. It had everything we needed for our two night stay. The views from the room are lovely, we could see snow on the hills this morning. The ‘Wipe away the day’ wipes in the bathroom were a nice surprise. Hosts Ann and Trevor were very welcoming, I would definitely stay again and would feel safe when travelling alone.
