The home is beautiful on the inside. The neighborhood is not a place I would have chosen had I known I would be staying across from a bus stop where homeless men live. The homeless men got into a fight one night and we heard a drug deal happen in the alley right next to the house. The upstairs master bed has a large sink hole on one side making it very uncomfortable. The house needs an alarm system to make the guests feel more comfortable in that location.

Having five bedrooms, it was a nice house for multiple families or a big family. The two downstairs bedrooms did not have closets, so you're living out of your suitcase, which can be a pain if you're staying for an extended period of time. Has a great gathering area upstairs, along with a large kitchen and bar. The pool table downstairs was an extra bonus.

Our troop of nine 14 year old Girl Scouts used this property as homebase for 5 days in Savannah. The space was a great fit for us. Three adults each in their own rooms upstairs and 9 girls downstairs with a pool table. There was room for all of us to eat together upstairs, and the girls loved having their own space downstairs. When we had a leaky air bed a new one was delivered quickly. Overall, a great visit!

A group of friends rented the Vrbo for a long weekend in Savannah! We had an amazing trip and would highly recommend this listing for a group outing.

Great spot! Out of the hustle and bustle of downtown but close enough to walk to everything!

The place was just the right size for my family. The pool table was a big hit and a favorite past time activity. The location was within walking distance for most of all the attractions Savannah has to offer. The history of the city is amazing. Our experience on the first day there was a group of females that were looking into the windows of the residence to the point we had to shut the shades for the duration of our stay. The following day 3 males subjects were attempting to gain access into the residence pushing the key pad lock. I made contact with the subjects and asked them if they needed anything and they advised they were all set. No further issues at the residence, but the next afternoon those same subjects stole drinks and snacks from the party store next to the residence. They ran past my fiancé and I as we were returning home. A few issues that need attention: The bathroom sink's faucet on the 2nd floor/northside with the shower needs tightening, and the toilet needs to be secured to the floor. Rain water was leaking along the right-side of the window frame onto the floor. Only 2 of the pool cues were useable and not broken. The kitchen cabinet handles on the 2nd floor were broken or loose. The dryer was broken and unrepairable during our stay. It would have been nice to know that the pool is off site and a half hour drive away from the residence, which I was surprised to learn after I booked the place. Over all my family was happy with our stay.

Family reunion with siblings. Lovely home in a sketchy neighborhood. As we were unloading our vehicle a man approached us asking for a cigarette. Quite a few homeless people hanging out around the corner at the convenient store.
Accommodations were excellent and well suited for our large group of 9 adults and 1 teenager.

Plenty of room for everyone. Location worked perfectly. Only issue was that the stove/oven downstairs is just for show. Part of the appeal was two full kitchens for our family, so to find out after we confirmed and paid for the stay that it was a non-working appliance was a disappoinment. Otherwise, clean and perfect stay.

The place was pretty but you could tell that it was a cabinet storefront at sometime, every piece of cabinet was a different style and color. However no storage in the bedrooms, specially the two downstairs. Not even room for our luggage. But the worst part was the dungeon that was supposed to be a full bathroom downstairs. Shower was to small and so was the shower curtain, the floor of pebbles hurt your feet. No matter how high you turn the heater on the dungeon never warmed up. It was really upsetting because I am an elderly woman and couldn’t climb the stairs, so I had to freeze every time I showered. Really not worth the money. Pretty but not practical, do not recommend this place at all. I’m very lucky my family stuck it out because if not we would have lost our money.

We had a great time exploring Savanah the town was amazing and very walkable. We had several great meals at the local restaurants and the home was very spacious and right near everything. The house was close to the grocery, a pizzaria, the park and tennis courts and about a mile walk into town-
5.0
Overall, we were very much pleased with this property: it is large/spacious and is a historic building in a historic location. Rating it requires consideration of the rental cost ($$$$) and historical nature of the building versus simply not maintaining the property.
The location, exposed brick and old wood flooring = historic.
A moldy/smelly washer, freezer drawer that won’t close (even the light stayed on), dry rot vanity in the bathroom, an old and worn out toilet seat and dilapidated baseboard trim, an “outside door” threshold that allows leaves to blow in, a broken toaster, and one broken oven = lack of maintenance.
Other notes: some amenities are missing – no dish rags, tiny “hotel size” bath soaps for a 10 day stay, no washing machine detergent at all, etc. are an unnecessary inconvenience.
With just a little TLC, this could be one of THE MOST amazing properties in the area. As it is, considering the very high cost, it is disappointing the items above have not been addressed.

The trip was awesome! Savanna is a great city to visit. The was great! It felt homey. Most the places we went to eat were within 5 miles of us. 1 of the bedroom TV’s lost network connection 3 days in, but we didn’t use the TV’s in the bedroom anyway.Overall it was a property I would recommend to anyone.

Close to all the areas of interest in Savannah. Very clean and welcoming. Great stay. Highly recommended for larger groups.

My Girl Scout troop stayed here for our trip to the Girl Scout Headquarters. Everyone absolutely loved this place. It was clean and was exactly how it was described. We loved being able to cook our meals and have conversations. The only downfall was that the dishwasher did not work but we had a work order in.

We stayed here for a family reunion/ SCAD graduation trip and it was perfect! Everyone had space to be together, but also to find peaceful moments. Towels and linens were of great quality, Walking to Forsyth park is a particular favorite, and it’s close enough to walk or grab a pedicab to downtown. The pool table provided hours of family bonding time with healthy competition! I highly recommend this property!

4.0
We loved how close it was to walk to Forsyth Park, restaurants/coffee, and trolley stops. There was a convenience store next door, and a full grocery just a few minutes away. The home is excellently set up for a group with 2 separate gathering spaces. There's so much character in the building and we were comfortable during our stay.
4.0
Enjoyed our stay and appreciated the spaces, older kids camped out with the pool table and the adults loved the kitchen space and comfy couches in the living room. Good location for a large group with parking and access to Forsyth Park.
5.0
This property gave everything needed for my large family! We had 10 adults and one pre-teen. The house has just the right amount of space for a big crowd. The men watched football downstairs and the ladies were upstairs playing games. However, be prepared to log in to your own TV streaming channel as there is no cable. The pool table was a added bonus! We will rent again!!!
5.0
This house was perfect for our family. We decided to do a destination Thanksgiving this year and chose Savannah. Nice big kitchen for cooking and gathering. Our adult children loved the pool table. Nice gathering spaces on main level and second story. Close to everything in historic district. Busy street, so we just used our white noise apps at night while sleeping.
3.0
Our overall rating is based on 6 occupants using the 5 bedrooms and gathering only on the top level of the residence which was roomy for 6 people. This was a really clean rental located one block from Forsyth Park and eateries, with bus stops right outside the door, next door to a tiny convenience store, and the drive to downtown area is a straight shot.
However, it is located on a busy street with predawn truck noises from the street and the adjacent alley. Numerous streaming TVs exist, but they do not air local channels. Be prepared for the too-high mounted kitchen cabinets, closet rods, towel racks, and bathroom mirror in one bedroom. Extremely bare and rationed household essentials are provided.
5.0
This was a great space due to the 2 kitchens and large living areas. Men could gather and watch sports downstairs while women could spread out upstairs and work on wedding prep.

Had a great stay in Savannah with Southern Belle! We will be using them again and highly recommend them. The house was well maintained and clean. Pictures depicted accurately to where we stayed. Good and easy communication. Thank you again!

We enjoyed our stay. Just a couple issues but overall a good place. The floors were not cleaned well. Our feet were very dirty after walking around common areas barefoot. We had some issues with the WiFi as well.

We had a great time! The home was super spacious and allowed for great relaxing and visiting. We were able to park easily and navigate our way through savannah. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Beautiful Home
We absolutely loved our stay here. This house was everything we could have dreamed of. Our only complaints were with the property manager, we drove 45 mins to the pool and they did not tell us it was closed but gave us the code to go. We showed up and informed them the code did not work and they said they had closed it and did not inform us. There was also construction/hammering every morning at about 7am on the weekend for hours. We loved the house & stay, just an issue with the property manager and communication.

Family get together
Property was just as advertised. Great for a family of 12. Good location, lots of room for group gathering.

Great time in historic Savannah
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the property!
Couple of minor things but overall a great stay and comfortable property. Management super easy to communicate with and information provided was clear and easy to understand. HEADS UP…the pool that is mentioned is at least 30 minutes away on Tybee Island and is a short walk from the beach. If you are choosing the property because of access to the pool, keep this in mind.
Forsyth Park (magnificent) a block away and very easy to use free shuttle ("Dot") to downtown.
Downstairs is old storefront so bedrooms and shared bathroom are a bit wonky but comfortable. Upstairs is the real living space, spacious, and where we spent almost all of our time.
There is a nice Krogers (with a Starbucks) and a “package” store nearby, both within walking distance depending on the amount of stuff you are returning home with, and there is a Dominoes Pizza right next door.
Would highly recommend the property. Price for the five days was very reasonable for what we got. A very good value.

Great getaway in Savannah
Great location, close to Forsyth Park. Very spacious lots of room for the nine of us to lounge. Kitchen upstairs had essentials for cooking. Very clean and linen/towels provided. Did use pool off site, was closed for maintance one day but it was very nice, pool and grounds were clean and bathrooms onsite. Downside needed code everyday that you want to go to pool and managing company was slow to respond, had to text more than once.

Stay at 1041 Abercorn
This building was perfectly located for a family get-together in February. It is close to the park & walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The walk down Bull St from here is magical!
The apt. was clean and spacious, the beds comfortable, just about everything worked. The kitchen is equipped for cooking, although no supplies were provided whatsoever.
We did not attempt to use the pool.
We had no personal communication with the management at all, but we had no serious issues either.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay & would stay here again. We thought the price we paid was fair for what was provided, especially the location, cleanliness & space.

Perfect spot to experience all of Savannah
Great location to experience all savannah has to offer. Close enough to walk to everything without being in a loud, busy, touristy neighborhood. So much room in the house. Having two living rooms with 7 adults was very helpful to have some personal space. Parking available for a rental car. Dominos next door for some late night yums. Victorian Market next door for all your alcohol and snack needs. Grocery store and liquor store both 2 blocks away. House has everything you need to cook with, and they give you paper goods to get you through the first couple of days. All in all a great stay! Also Bull Street Tacos is very close and VERY good.

Technology And Electrical issues
We contacted management several times during 48 hours. The television remotes were missing batteries, the Roku was not working, no cable in the unit. Shower curtains falling off of hooks, broken glass coffee pot, photos misrepresenting a first floor working kitchen. Electricity and ceiling fan/lights in bedrooms not properly functioning. Maintenance documented on work ticket that faulty electrical needed replaced. Old space that was converted over time and most likely would not pass a building inspection today. Not what we expected from Southern Belle as a property manager.
