It was in a very good location for coastal and beach walks and harbour. There were other towns to visit for shopping although the Spar was very good. Local fresh fish was easy to find and the fish and chip shop and Chinese were excellent. Some lovely woodland walks were also close by.
The wrong phone number was given to contact to get the key code and we had to ring around to get a new phone number. The Hot tub and log fire were filthy..another hour wasted. 3 saucepans and a wine glass were filthy, so I washed every thing to be sure. The 2 single beds were uncomfortable, gave up on one and used the sofa. The BIG thing and Health & Safety was the 2 Carbon Monoxide Alarms were not working and were not replaced when requested.

spacious well appointed property, well equipped, very comfortable. in a beautiful location. spotlessly clean.

The location was good, overlooking the harbour and it was easy to find. There were a few fast-food catering establishments, so we were able to get a meal on our arrival which was quite late.
The bathroom was located on the ground floor and stairs were quite narrow and steep. There was only one lavatory, and this was located in the bathroom and if there were 6 guests this could be inconvenient. We could not find a controller for one of the TVs

Accommodation and location were both excellent.
Nothing. It was a great week, nice and peaceful.

Cottage was very clean, comfortable with good quality furnishing. As there was only four of us (and the dog) we had plenty of space for dining and lounging. It was cold when we arrived so had to turn up heating but it didn’t take long before it was toasty. Outside areas were great for dining.
Only one bathroom made it awkward when everyone waiting to get showered etc. and not enough towels. There was no secure area for the dog outside. A couple of loungers for outside would have been great.

Great location, very comfortable and well equipped.
Fridge/Freezer for the size of the property too small, particularly if self catering most of the time .

It was beautifully clean, well equipped, comfortable and in a beautiful location. Great stay.
The key safe was a bit tricky, but no bother really.

The cottage was bright, spacious, exceptionally clean with a generous welcome pack.
There were 2 lounges, which came in handy, as family members could enjoy their own programmes.
Ther 2 main bedrroms were big and had ample storage. The front bedroom had a beautiful view over the harbour and sea.
There is a functional kitchen with a large dining table, which we used regularly, except when we had fish and chips from the fabulous Portknockie fish and chip shop
We loved the front patio area, as it allowed us to enjoy a drink, watch the dolphins, sunsets and chat to folk passing by.
Unfortunately, as we were out most days, we never availed ourselves of the great looking hot tub, but when we return, we will definitely make full use of it
We did not like that our holiday was only 14 days long.

The facilities were really good, family enjoyed the hot tub and loved the area so peaceful fabulous views, great location to explore from and locals very friendly. Kids were able to explore the area, walk the dog on own.
The only negative would be bathroom could do with a handrail to access the shower over the bath for the less agile and certainly not suitable for someone disabled as bath very high.

It's a lovely place to stay. My partner, myself my 13 year old son and 2 dogs rated it 10 out of 10. 18 year old daughter and 16 year old son loved the house but I think they would have enjoyed it more in the summer as they would have spent more time on the beaches. The walks were lovely and 13 year old son found a castle which he loved. Daughter did some photography. It's a place you could go to on your own as well and not get bored. I could happily spend a few weeks there with the dogs, perhaps not come home at all.
Everything was as good as it could be at this difficult time with restrictions due to COVID. I can't think of anything that could be improved apart from my teenagers moods at times.

The cottage was very clean and well appointed with lovely views to the harbour. A home from home. Very peaceful and quiet location and within walking distance of other lovely coastal villages.
