This house was beautiful. Had a group of friends up for an atv weekend. We went to local tracks mx207, Hemonds atv Mx for trails and riding. The house was great for relaxing and had plenty of room for parking for trailers and trucks. Plan on renting again 100% you won’t be disappointed.

Each year our family visits a different location in the area for a winter vacation. Moose Ranch was a great size for our large family. Lots of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space, or come together to play games and be together in the common area. The property was great with a nice sledding hill right outside the door, and we had a lot of fun ice fishing on the lake. It did feel like there was a need for some updating. The sauna gave us trouble along with the TV in the movie viewing room. It was nice to have two refrigerators, but both were missing a shelf limiting the space available. While the kitchen has the basics, it does feel sparse on large pans and spatulas and felt a bit disorganized for such a nice space and set up. The property manager Steve was easy to communicate with and helpful in every way. We were happy with Moose Ranch and with a little love and updating it could be amazing. We would definitely consider renting again and recommend checking it out if you have a large family of all ages looking for a nice amount of space with fun stuff to do right on site.

We were fortune enough to have our wedding here in October and it could not have been more magical, despite the crazy amount of rain. Callie and the property managers were so easy to get ahold of and quickly responded to any questions we had throughout the entire process. The house was perfect for fitting all of our close family and friends and provided the best atmosphere for our wedding weekend. Checking in and out was super easy. We already can't wait to book again for a family weekend or anniversary.

This was our second stay at this beautiful property and we loved it just as much! It’s a perfect home for friends and family trips. The home is well equipped and super clean. Can’t beat the hot tub on the deck!

Moose Lake Ranch was absolutely fantastic! It was a surprise getaway for my husband's 60th birthday, with family and friends. The ice fishing was perfect, just steps from the house - large & small mouth bass & pickerel. Some old fashioned pond hockey too. The large hottub was a perfect end to being outside all day.
The house amenities were everything we needed - pool table, ping pong, theatre room and just sitting by the fireplace with lots of seating for everyone.
All of our guests raved about the place & location. We hope to plan a summer stay next!
Thanks Callie!

We had a magnificent time at MLR. We arrived on 1/5/24 and departed on 1/8/24...looking back we should have stayed longer. The accommodations were more than adequate. Everyone could find a quiet corner if they needed to get away from the family noise. Mother Nature blessed us with a beautiful 10 " snowfall, so we all went sliding on the hill in front of the house. Our kids created gourmet meals for us that were fantastic. And the caretaker supplied us with firewood, plowed us out and provided a tour when we arrived. We are already trying to
figure out when we can stay for a week!

This was our 3rd Thanksgiving here and as always it was wonderful. The house is very large but has a very comfortable homey feel. There is an outdoor area for the kids to play as well as a large area for an outdoor autumn bonfire. The hot tub has been upgraded and is large and hot. A great way to relax at the end of the day. Can't wait for our next stay.

We came to Maine for our daughters wedding but had a family vacation here beforehand. We all had a wonderful time! We spent a lot of time outdoors, from hanging on the front porch swing to relaxing in the hot tub and later bonfires nightly with s’mores! We all left with awesome memories!
Some things to note - there are two refrigerators however the water dispenser was not working so plan on bringing your own water. There are plenty of spices so no need to bring any. We often ran out of utensils (over 20 in our group) so plan on bringing your own plastic ware for meals. The dishwasher did not always clean dishes first time through. That backed things up in kitchen a bit as you can imagine.
Other than those couple of items we truly had a fantastic time! Thank you so much for the use of your lovely home!

Our large family had a fabulous time on the water utilizing the boats, dock and float. Beds are very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone with lots to do in the very private yard and water access. The large hot tub was a big hit, too. We plan to come back next summer. There are private areas as well as the large open living space by the kitchen. The dogs loved it, too!

We had our micro-wedding here (12 guests) and it could not have been any better. The owners and property manager were extremely responsive the whole time. The property is absolutely stunning! Nothing went wrong, everything went right!

We had an awesome time at Moose Lake Ranch! It had plenty of space and everything we needed for a 17-person friend reunion. Plenty of space, great amenities, and right on the lake. Definitely secluded but we didn’t feel the need to venture away from the property. I would highly recommend the venue for a future stay!

Our group had a lot of fun at the MLR. The host team is responsive and accommodating. The house clearly gets a lot of use and there's some expected wear (ex: 2 of the door handles on porch doors fell off at first use (a crafty member of our group fixed these) and the oven door doesn't fully close (we were notified of this at check in). But, for what we needed it for it checked every box!

My large nerdy gamer group rented the house for a long weekend and had an absolute blast! The house is amazing with great features like the sauna, the hot tub, a wonderful deck and a sound system that goes through the whole house. Plenty of rooms for people to disperse to so we never felt claustrophobic. Hope to come back again next year!

Words cannot express how amazing this property was. The property manager was incredible and walked us through everything we needed to know. My family agreed this was by far the most gorgeous VRBO we have stayed in.

My family and I stayed at Moose Lake Ranch this past August. The property was just what we needed to get away from our busy day to day lives. The house is beautiful and spacious, to say the least. The property was more than we could ask for… The boys were able to ride ATV trails on the property, while the rest of us enjoying the water. There were a bunch of water accessories available to us for the pond, which the kids and adults all enjoyed. It was so much fun swimming, fishing and paddle boating/ kayaking. We got to experience a lightening storm, swinging on the swing, on the front porch. It was truly something we won’t forget! It was so hard to pack up and leave. What a relaxing place to vacation, one of our families favorite get aways.

We had a BLAST at this terrific house - two families stayed here for graduation weekend at Bates, and everything was perfect! Plenty of room, beautiful layout, well-stocked house and activities galore inside and out. We are trying to figure out how to get our kids to go to college again (just kidding) so that we can come back!

We just celebrated our wedding at the moose lake ranch and it was absolutely beautiful and perfect! I can not say enough about how helpful Danielle the manager is, she’s friendly, kind, and such a caring soul. Everyone that came to the wedding was blown away by how beautiful the property was.

My wife and I got married at Moose Lake Ranch and could not have asked for a better experience. The property was perfect for the event and the property management staff accommodated all requests promptly. We would absolutely recommend Moose Lake Ranch as a place to make special memories just like we did. Thank you!

I could not pick little things. This isn't 5 star, but this was a fabulous place for family getaways. We had so many people, 20, and so much to do. The place is enormous. So much to do. I recommend for anyone wanting to take your family and just getaway.

This house needs a thorough cleaning and alot of maintenance. Floors were filthy, area rugs were really bad.
Neither oven worked properly, the pots and pans are well past being useable. Every cabinet is filthy inside. No shelves in extra fridge.
Basement needs a full time dehumidifier. To musty to use. Decks are in poor condition. Needs to be scraped and stained. Fishing boat motor does not work.
Im sure this was beautiful at some point. I paid 1500.00 a night and feel this property is overpriced for what it offers. Upon checkout it appears the guest do most of the work or the fine is 50.00 for each task not completed.
We rented this for ez access to the atv trails and it was great location for it. Would I rent again? No!

We had a group of 13 including three children. More than enough room for all of us and we felt like we could have had 25 people and still had room to spare. The house is gorgeous and the grounds around the house are beautiful. Yes, there are a couple of things that need fixing like the door handles, hot tub and sauna, but none of those things made a difference with how much fun we had. It rained one day and we hung out under the gazebo on the deck still. We wished we could have stayed for more than 2 nights. Danielle was excellent and communication was great.

When looking on line at the place they are obviously showing original pictures and not what it actually looks like now. The building structure and design is beautiful but needs some major updating.
We were excited when seeing all the extras the placed offered for our enjoyment but once there we were disappointed big time. The pool table should be replaced, the felt and rails are really unplayable. When the ball hits a rail it jumps up about 3" into the air, the felt has been patched. The foosball table leg is broken & just stuck back in place. The only thing the kids were able to really enjoy was the ping pong table. We were told the outdoor hot tub didn't work but still disappointing. The boat motor needs work, the prop slips so you can't go faster than an idol, we didn't dare take it out very far. The appliances need replacing or repair. All the decking needs scraping and repainting. Some support deck beams are rotting & are braced with poles underneath. There are lots of holes & marks on the lower entertainment walls, the basement sofa material is all worn out & covered up with big pillows & the carpeting is torn. The windows in front entrance way is loaded with spider webs and throughout need cleaning. The mirrors in the rooms didn't appear to have been cleaned in a while. I don't see how it's possible for an individual to clean the place in a half a day from the time one group leaves to when another comes in.
Here is a list of a few things we found: No canoe as advertised, grill on the deck was filthy, paddle boat takes on water big time, only one oar for the boat, there were no shelves in the mudroom frighted, washer/dryer under repair in mudroom, the kitchen ovens need replacing one door doesn't shut tight making temp off when cooking. Crushed ice only in refrigerator, cupboards are broken, doors don't all lock, knob missing on a couple, no volume control on tv remote in the great room.
Personally I feel we should be reimbursed at least 25% for what we expected compared to what was available. I do have photos & videos if needed.//fb
